I don't really like the mapping on this one to be honest, it's very error inducing I guess, my fingers feel like they're tripping up when playing it, I don't like that feeling, though maybe it's just because I haven't played it enough.

Preety much what I felt as well. I always liked that song and had no issues with any previous versions, but this one feels like a road straight down to a cliff. Possibly because it starts really comfortingly and remains quite easy for the most part.

 

That is, until you reach the chorus

I don't like it either, especially the part entering chorus (that part is thumb-crusher unless you are fast enough

 

On the other hand, Colorful Voice EX in JP is terrible  I didn't expect it to be that difficult...

What I like in an Expert song is when it's intuitive to play and not just hard for the sake of being hard and tripping you up, the chorus in Kokuhaku Biyori Desu is obviously made with the intent of tricking your eyes and your fingers because it keeps flipping the patterns on you and the notes are coming so fast that they become cluttered and that induces error very easily.

 

It's playable, but not exactly what I'd call fun, it requires a lot of focus.

Though I'm sure with enough plays on it one can just breeze through it so I guess in some months this will be nothing.

Another event is over. Time for a summary.

 

 

To be honest, I don't think it was as crazy as some of the previous ones; the cut-offs went preety high, but they were still in the margin of possiblity. I ended up in T2 and missed few thousand points to get to T1, but I was tired and decided to stock up on gems instead, since additional Umi and a scouting ticket weren't really worth it in my case.

 

That influx of stones gave another opportunity for additional draws, so I decided to try with 10+1 and this is what I got:

 

 

Not bad, considering I'm really unlucky with the draws. Getting four SR's doesn't happen that often, although I wish they were something more in my taste (still, they're really nice!). Seriously though, YU NO GIV NIKO?! FOK U! I was hyped for that red riding hood Nico, and as usual the game mocked me terribly with 3 smiles and not even a single one of them being the one I wanted (I'd exchange that Rin/Hanayo anytime!). On the bright side I finally got some decent replacements for my initials, that should boost up my smile team nicely.  Not sure how I will manage to level up all those SR's, though; it's going to be a real pain in the ass at the moment and I'm out of friend points to do additional scouts for fodder.

I think I will wait before doing the 10+1 scoutings, since the smile attirbute is the one having more prpbability now and I have enough Smile SRs for now... I will do either cool or second year limited scouting (but god plz no honokas , I love umi and kotori but I hate honoka too much)

Also I don't know how the fuck I was able to get tot T4 with only 50 LP and inability to finish experts.... and I was 10k something in terms of rank (after that huge cutoff with 4 k in less than 12 hours for T3). I guess it's because of the anniversary extra gems but who cares? I got (a useless) scouting ticket and 3 gems (got rid of rebecca after getting thr gem, I thought she would look cuter). So when will the next event begin? Hopefully after a while , I need a break ...

Jokes aside, yeah - you're right. That was extremely lucky, considering most average draws often end up with a single or double SR in best case. I'd still trade those four SR's for a single smile UR, even the initial one ; ^;

WHAT? CColorful Voice easy, and a really bland map. I was really looking toward to it but it turned out to be a snooze fest. I got some goods off sightread from stupid mistakes.

I felt a bit defeated when I didn't FC in first try  Second try went worse than first play. I will try again if my LP recharges~~

4 SR in a single draw... my luckiest draw in EN version was 3 SR, but it's all Eli so I was as happy as getting an UR

Pure 2 stronk (and it'll get stronger in a few events when I get all level 80 SRs in there)

Smile team will get the promo Nico replaced by this event Honoka and maybe teacher Nico in a future smile event if I don't get a 2nd teacher Nico soon.

Well, I know that feel. I messed up twice on the song badly even though I think it's really simple, just a bad day for me in SIF.

I started my game being smothered by smile Honokas and being in despair, now I'm going for tiers in her events. I sure came a long way.

 

Honoka is also my 3rd favorite character, I don't think she's that hated to be honest.

She's not many people's number 1 favorite, but she's also rarely anybody's most hated character so she actually has the most advantage since she's moderately liked by many.

Honoka is 2nd in my list but I didn't devote too much on her events back then. Starting from her next event I will do it!

I never said I hate Honoka! I always liked her because of that carefree and cheerful attitude towards life; In my days and age, I'm actually starting to see this in a very bright light. I'm really dubious why people pidgeonhole LL gals so much (I like all of them, each in a different kind of way), they vary a lot; it makes the show much more interesting to see when their personalities clash together.

 

To be honest, of all the girls, Honoka would actually make the best, most realistic waifu At least, that's the kind of a person I'd be perfectly happy to spend the rest of my days together.

It's a greek letter M. You can type it with a numeric keypad sequence [ALT] + 0181.
