SanadaShadow Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 So... There are more? I thought I was just missing some cues for the same girls to text me, but how do you unlock these two other ones? Quote
SanadaShadow Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Here is YOUR girl What is that supposed to mean? I don't get it. Hidden girls *wink wink* What does the 'snip' in that quote mean? Is it to say you cut out all the text and were quoting me? Quote
Zakamutt Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Also note that there are variations on fluid content for each scene based on whether you're playing as a girl or not. Quote

KotarouNoOtaku Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 I played this game a couple of weeks ago, most of it was boring, some parts are funny(but not good funny, the "ha ha ha next" funny), then the mini game which takes up most of your playing time which got boring really quickly and then you got your 1 picture per girl HCG's which you get at the end of each girls route. Over all I think if your a hard core Jap. visual novel lover then don't play this. Me on the other hand will probably never play it again. Quote
Kosakyun Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Over all I think if your a hard core Jap. visual novel lover then don't play this. Me on the other hand will probably never play it again. I don't think the enjoyment rests on that certain factor. While I do love visual novels (I don't think it's hardcore though), I loved the game very much. It was fun to play, and the interaction was also fun. It's nice to ask cup sizes hehe. I don't think bejeweled games are your type soooo to each their own. Quote
ReMeDy Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 What I don't get is, okay, so this was a Kickstarter game funded by more than double its initial $20,000 goal. Yet, despite its funding popularity, almost none of you heard about it. So if hardly anyone in this community funded it, who did? A bunch of people who don't know what a good visual novel looks like? In that case, why dont I just start my own Kickstarter visual novel? If it's this easy to get funding on awful crap, like this, then I have a career in the making waiting for me. Quote
Zakamutt Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 1. This is not a visual novel. 2. It is not that hard to get funded, no. 3. I'm not sure if that "almost nobody heard about it" thing is true. 4. It's not awful crap. Did you only read page one? Gibberish and Darklord Rooke 2 Quote
Darklord Rooke Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Zaka hit the head with the hammer. Huniepop is a dating sim/puzzle cross. It doesn't meet the requirements to be a visual novel. Play it if you like match 3 puzzle games, and dating sims (think Persona 3/4.) I'm a little embarrassed to say I'm addicted Quote
Mugi Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 I'm almost ashamed to say I want to try this e.e Quote

ReMeDy Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I'm going to dial back on what I said earlier. I watched some "Let's Play" videos on this, because the Kickstarter page and trailer wasn't doing it for me. I think I see the attraction of it now. As annoying as some of the characters sound, they have the most distinct personalities I've ever seen (esp. Audrey's evil attitude). They seem very believable, in their own weird way. My favorite part is the plethora of answer responses to the girls, and seeing the girls react to your responses. The girls ask very though-provoking questions out of the player, such as, "How often do you watch porn?" I think Huniepop did this intentionally to bait "Let's Play" gamers into giving the game free advertising. If so, it worked. For just $9.95 off Mangagamer, you can't really hate it for the price. I heard the h-scenes are awful, but it does some of the other things well enough, that it's forgivable. I may play it sometime once I beat Miyako's Majikoi route. Quote

sanahtlig Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I'm not exactly a fan of moege, but this is too...the exact opposite of what I'm looking for when I play eroge. Quote
mbl Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I'm a bit confused as to why this thread is still so lively. How people keep a game with so little content on their minds to converse about I'll never know. How people keep a game with so little content on their minds to converse about I'll never know. Because you know how the world gets about match 3s. Let's all take a moment to remember Candy Crush. Actually I didn't have a smartphone when Candy Crush was big...well I did but without the data on it. I was super anti touchscreens at the time. Quote
Mugi Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Try it and become addicted like the rest of us As soon as I scrounge up the money for it, i'll definitely give it a try Quote
kratoscar2008 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Isnt huniepop general around like its 50th thread? Well the fact that the game is very low on story you can pretty much use your imagination to fill the gaps (Wich is why hpg lives on fan fiction) wich is kinda great way to keep the game alive until HP 2(?). Mugi Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Just got it Time to spend countless hours playing, gonna have to put If My Heart Had Wings on the side Quote

AlexZandria Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Just got it Time to spend countless hours playing, gonna have to put If My Heart Had Wings on the side Gl they added achievements recently and I realized I'm going to have to start all over again if I want to even try to get half of them. I thought they'd be easy achievements like bang X girl and bang Y girl or bang X number of girls or successfully complete Y dates in 1 day. Naw. Quote
