HMN Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 This question just kinda got my interest fire up. The reason? Well I for one have a really weird taste in music. Well at least that's what the people around me say.. I think they are right. I have not even found the right name to the genre of music I listen to yet . They are basically instrumental music used in movies. So maybe "Movie music" would be the appropriate term My favorite artist group so far is "Two steps from Hell". So I'd like to know what you guys enjoy listening to.. ? vocaloid only vocaloid Quote
Mr. Meogii Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I listen to soundtracks. Films, VNs, games... that kind of thing. I like music that is emotionally moving and I find that vocals stray from that a little so yeah. Just soundtracks really. I finally found someone who shares my interest in music !!! Life XD Quote
Mr. Meogii Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 vocaloid only vocaloid I've heard about this type. Monmon showed me a couple of songs too. Quote

Heizei_koukousei Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I was raised on classic rock. When i was in high school I went through a post hardcore/metal phase. Nowadays I enjoy trance/house stuff. I even go to raves when I get the chance. Raves are quite fun, everyone should go to at least one. PLUR~ Here's some back alley stuff that was made in Seattle https://soundcloud.com/powermitten/scream-and-shout Quote

I am more into the hardcore/hardstyle than house though. I still enjoy rock sometimes. Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Also love me some classic disco. This is also the song that made me buy elite beat agents years ago. Quote
theboxcarracer Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I have some pretty specific tastes. My absolute favorite band is this indie band from New Jersey called The Front Bottoms. They're kind of... acoustic punk, I guess? Think Violent Femmes but a little bit calmer. This is my absolute favorite song. Quote
mattroks101 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Anyone here love mashups? Cause I freaking LOVE mashups. Girl Talk, Isosine, Bruneaux, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73NxuNhFsFg, Psycosis91 and of course TripleQ, those guys are like the best. In my opinion, best mashup of all time: Quote
theboxcarracer Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Holy crap boxcarracer, dat necro. Quote
theboxcarracer Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I've been listening to this song pretty much on repeat since I found it. I realize that the guy's voice is pretty off-putting for most people, but you get used to it pretty quick and I feel like it really fits the disturbing/sarcastic lyrical style. Quote
