contown Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I'm confused about it. The tl wiki says it's 100% completed along with a few other translation-tracking sites. But there's no patch anywhere. What's going on with that? The translation is finished but they never got around to making a patch after all that work? Did it get licensed so they had to give up? Seeing a translation stuck at 100% is even worse than seeing it barely started and given up on. Quote
Beato Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 That's because it's an official project (and have been since a long time ago) and is being released by JAST. Quote
contown Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 I remember it started as a fan translation, I guess it got picked up. Has JAST said anything about a release date? Quote
Down Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I remember it started as a fan translation, I guess it got picked up. Has JAST said anything about a release date? Sadly, JAST doesn't have the same concept of time as us poor human souls, so they rarely give this kind of things. You can still follow the TL status updates on the blog. Quote
Clephas Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Hanachirasu's tl was done years ago, yet they are only talking about a release now. Quote
Beato Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Though with Nitro's titles there are apparently lots of other issues that slow them down as well, for example the programming of nitro's games are done by them while Seinarukana's programming is being done by doddler. Quote
Decay Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Seinarukana is still in beta testing phases. The translation seems complete but it's a rather large and complicated game with a lot of different stuff to test. Every once in a while you hear talk from someone involved like Aroduc or Doddler about the project. You shouldn't expect it this year, but maybe early next year if we're lucky? Here's the latest post from the translator where it's mentioned: http://tenka.seiha.org/2014/09/obligatory-marketing-post-plus-unrelated-math/#more-24957 Quote
