SanadaShadow Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I've started Hunter x Hunter recently. I just want to ask if it's worth it to watch the whole thing, cuz I'm not very motivated by the number of episodes. Quote

Kaguya Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Just watched the Index Movie. It was well worth the watch. The animation was very good, the best in all of Toaru series. The plot was good considering that it's just a side-story. Gah all this stuff makes me want to give up on waiting for season 3 and to read the LN  ......... Quote
SanadaShadow Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I'm liking it so far. Just finished Episode 28 a while ago, and I could say that it was well worth the 22 GB. I'm enjoying it. Quote
Chewy Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Hi everyone, I'm back!!! Â I'm currently watching Tokyo Ravens (catching up with previous seasons where I was pre-occupied with other things). Finding it a bit cliched but haven't quit yet. Quote

Ceris Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Â I dont know bout the new version, but i marathoned the old version and was happy with it. Its you typical shonen yet it still good. And some Arc just really good and awesome. Quote
SanadaShadow Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 There's 2 versions, the original with old-ish artwork and the newer one with crisp artwork. You wouldn't want to watch the original over the new one because the new one is a readaption that not only goes farther (more manga to cover after a decade) but it expands on stuff earlier. Yes, Hunter x Hunter 2011 is worth watching, I don't care much about those mainstream shounen anime whatsoever, just not my genre, but I love HxH. Quote
FinalChaos Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Finished Madan no Ou to Vanadis. It was good. While not great or amazing it is entertaining and worth a watch especially if you like a war setting with the main characters being the generals/commanders in the war who each have their abilities/powers. I had gotten a bit afraid at the start as there was no war scene in the first two episodes, it felt ok and not too interesting. However once the war starts it becomes interesting. I did like the fact that war strategies were discussed and the way it was illustrated was also done pretty well. The political side of things is also shown though it isn't as detailed as I'd prefer it is good enough. Quote

Eclipsed Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Finally dove into the world of anime now that I have some time to kill in b/w classes I got so overwhelmed browsing anime >.> there's so much!@# But I settled on Non Non Biyori for my lighthearted Comedy/School/Slice of Life needs and Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance for my *inhale* Action/Comedy/Ecchi/Fantasy/Romance/School/Harem/Supernatural needs xD Quote
nohman Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 In between wrapping up S1 of Chihayafuru and S2 of KuroBasu, I ended up marathoning Toradora! That one was pretty fun. I'm not usually into cutesy stuff, but Taiga totally had me hooked on the show. Thinking of starting either Nodame Cantabile or Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo next. Also have True Tears lined up for the anime club. Quote

Ezeefreak Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I couldn't behave myself and finished Kotoura-san... Like I said earlier It's a great mixture of comedy, romance and a little bit drama with focus on comedy. I enjoyed it a lot and it earned a 9/10 from me. Â Next will be the rewatch of True Tears for the anime club cycle. I'm really looking forward to that because it's great romance... Quote
Thomas Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Right now I'm going trough second season of Haganai. It's been a busy holiday season i have watched so many animes. Chewy Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Finished Tokyo Ravens and I'm wondering, what should I watch? Hanamonogatari, Shakugan no Shana S3, Maken ki! or nichijou Quote
SilverLi Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Thinking of starting either Nodame Cantabile or Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo next. Also have True Tears lined up for the anime club. Watch Sakurasou and True Tears. But the reactions from other members seems to like Nodame Cantabile. But I recommend Sakurasou.  Nodame Cantabile is one of the best anime of the decade :3 Really? Interesting.  Finished Tokyo Ravens and I'm wondering, what should I watch? Hanamonogatari, Shakugan no Shana S3, Maken ki! or nichijou If you enjoy good random comedy I recommend Nichijou. Otherwise Shana. Quote
Kosakyun Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Did you watch Nodame Cantabile? I gave it a try because I was bored, then suddenly... Â Sweet sprinkles from heaven oh my god my ears and everything is beautiful rainbows everywhere I'm happy. Quote
Chewy Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 If you enjoy good random comedy I recommend Nichijou. Otherwise Shana. Thank you Quote
nohman Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Finished season 1 of Chihayafuru. Pretty delightful show with some colorful characters. The only exception was Taichi, who I found more irritating than not half the time. In the later half of the season, the way Chihaya struggled with her identity as a player was extremely well executed. With the way things ended, I'm eager to get into season 2. I'm hoping to see more of Arata, though I really liked how his character was used in a limited role. Quote
FinalChaos Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Watching Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de aru. Watched the first episode and it seems good, just hope that I don't get bored if there is too much repetition of the same generic fights and 'daily activities'. Quote
