In the recent situation over the kidnapping of 2 Japanese men by ISIS, the Japan internet (2chan) on January the 25th decided to make a thread “Let’s make ISIS into a moe girl and send it to them!” and well........

Pro tip: Google "ISIS-chan" and put it to last week or the specific date of after 25th January. Be amazed.

Oh and before I forgot, what do you guys think of this? Is it going to be as bad as Ebola-chan? Or maybe even achieve an actual positive objective?

We all know how successful their criticism was in France, right? Right? Guys..?

Hitting them where it hurts.

I suppose it's the thought that counts.  :Kappa:

An interesting way of taking control from those that seek to rule with fear. Feels more like a temporary smokescreen than anything else. This recent news only confirms that no one is immune from terrorism. Well, at least it's a valiant effort. Creative and capable of spreading like wildfire, I like it.

I actually think this is a much more sane attitude than Ebola-chan. Laughing at the face of terrorism is one way of dispelling its effort to achieve, well, terror. Whereas Ebola-chan just makes fun of tons of people dying while the rest of the world doesn't give a fuck.

I'm not sure how effective it is, and I can't say it doesn't feel weird to see how casual people are about the lives of the hostages, but I can hardly see it as a bad thing. It's Japan's own version of satire drawing.

This is what Charlie Hebdo should have draw for their new cover.

This is actually the best idea ever, fighting ISIS with Ero, to show how bad it is to mess up with Japanese.

Make it a Mahou Shoujo about Ebola-chan fighting ISIS-chan?

If it's a mahou shoujo they'll end up befriending each others, can't have a good girl Ebola-chan =(

Japan, turning all your worries into moe.

Still not leaving Ebola-chan for ISIS-chan, good try though.

Eh, really?

I think ISIS-chan looks much cuter.
