We just got 12 new blog entries in the last 4 days. I get the feeling that people actually do look at the New Blogs widget on the forum's front page, but do not look at the main blogs page. Blog views seem to drop sharply as soon as a blog entry leaves that widget. Since the last few days have been so active, it was entirely possible for a blog entry to only have a few hours in the spotlight, before it gets forgotten and nobody views it again. This can be a problem and discourages people from putting effort into their posts. The last few days have been an anomaly, but more people seem to be trying out the blog feature, and if the feature continues to grow in use like you would want, we're going to run into this issue much more frequently. I suggest one of two things (or both): A scrollbar on the widget so you can see many entries without taking up too much real estate, or expanding the list to include more entries at once. If you are concerned about taking too much real estate, I have one other suggestion, only display the latest weekly spotlight post by Rose, as I don't see much benefit in showing weeks-old posts there.

I figure I'd make a new thread to start of fresh and say that I along with Jaysc, plan to continue the translation of Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai that was dropped last month. I know that a lot of people were dissappointed with the fact that this was dropped (me), so I wanted to make the completion of it a reality. However, I wanted to extend this to the community. Jaysc and I have created a share on my google drive account with the scripts that need to be translated, along with reference materials. If people wants to help out in any capacity, they should feel free to do so. Anyone with Japanese knowledge is welcome to help out. Additionally, if anyone just wants to edit or proofread as we go along, that would be helpful as well. I also made a new thread to encourage people to get the word out if they know anyone who can contribute to the project. I want to see this completed as much as you guys do! I can give anyone who is interested a link to the share, or post it here later if it is necessary to do so.

Hello there, I'm 21, French, & a deep anime fan. I'm mostly into thrillers, psychological stories, supernatural & some kind of science-fiction (I kind of hate space opera). Although, I watched a lot of anime that could be classified as moe such as K-ON! (S1, S2, OVA, Movie), OreImo, AKB0048, Zero no Tsukaima & I really enjoyed all of them. If I had to make some kind of a personnal top I'd say : - Shinsekai Yori (by far) - Monogatari Series - Tatakau Shisho : The Book of Bantorra - Kara no Kyoukai - Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - Code Geass - Durarara!! - Ergo Proxy - Steins;Gate - OreImo - K-ON! & so on... If interested, feel free to search for me on MAL, same name ! Anway. I've been adviced to come here because I am actually really interested in Visual Novels, although I only read a few. I started with Saya no Uta, which has been translated in French, then played a bit of Katawa Shoujo but I did not like it (I'm not really into dating games - galge isn't it ? -) & went over the so famous Fate/Stay Night. I was not able to finish Heaven's Feel due to personnal issues but I'm planning to. I finished all routes of Yosuga no Sora, though it was very hard to understand the untranslated one, my japanese is more than shaky (only have basics), started to play the official english version of Steins;Gate. More on my profile on MAL ! Anyway... I have never been a big player of Visual Novels, mainly because it tires me out to read everything in english as well as being concentrated on the story. However, I really do love the concept of it, and as a very creative person, I have been looking for an opportunity to create my own game. So here I am ! For about a year now, I have been working on some story of mine, little by little, but I was never sure how to use it, how could it be played, of even if I would be able to make it become a real Visual Novel. Recently, I decided to get into this project way deeper & it has gone quite well BUT... As a writer, a developper, I have absolutely no talent in drawing, composing music and have no idea about programming. One of the first games I got the script files to and it's super short (much shorter than the actual games the heroines are from). Translation initially began in hopes of it drumming up interest in those games and their translation, and only now just finished since, as said, it's just a niche nukige.

Hello! Sorry to butt in, but I came across these forums when checking up on Tokyo Dark. I work for Square Enix Collective, the initiative helping Tokyo Dark with their Kickstarter. I just wanted to drop in here to see if you guys had any questions about the game or about Collective itself. I'll try and answer any of them as best I can. We're certainly not trying to inflate our ego by judging indies Quite the opposite actually. Indiegames are awesome. We let our community decide which games they'd like to see get funded and in some cases we also offer to help support the title through crowdfunding. Our support isn't monetary but more of a help with marketing and communication - getting the word out there. More on that here. In the briefest possible words, Collective is about showcasing indie games to the Square Enix Community and also ensuring that any projects we decide to support have the capabilities and the drive to complete the game. It's no secret that Kickstarter can be a risky venture at times, but we can at least try and mitigate that risk by vetting certain teams for you beforehand. We of course can't guarantee a game will be made, but we can make it a lot more likely. I don't want to post too much of a wall of text but please do let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to elaborate further!

Hi Im Krills wife Cathy or as he calls me Angel I will gladly give updates on his condition to anyone who ask He is home from the hospital He was released on Monday he was in the hospital 6 days He had about 6 or 7 mini strokes that went undetected and then a much larger stroke that caused alot of damage to his brain He has in one week regained the ability to use his voice to make words eat solid foods and the knowledge of were he is and what year it is Walking Feeding himself Showering unassisted These things he was unable to do by Monday night of last week The day i took him to the hospital he thought it was 1925 He has a severe case of aphasia His speech has suffered the most he cant recognize alot of things yet but He is going to start therapy this weekend to regain as much of all that back as possible The drs say he will regain alot back but there was quite a bit of damage from the strokes that killed brain cells and areas of the brain so there are things he will never get back

Cyrano and Ginga Tetsudou are both really cool and can be read immediately. The Tractatus is harder and requires having some prior knowledge of the context in which it was written - basically who are people like Frege, Russel, Wittgenstein himself, what kind of problems they are dealing with, etc. Basically some wikipedia research and reading a few short articles.
