While the term ‘bitch’ could be used to indicate lewdness (and this is debatable, as in this meaning isn’t in the Oxford dictionary type of debatable,) it’s most commonly used to indicate difficult, unpleasantness, or maliciousness. When you refer to your boss as a ‘bitch’ you mean they’re spiteful and mean. A ‘slut’ is someone who is very sexually active. Using the two words synonymously would, at minimum, likely create obfuscation and at worst be inappropriate. Replacing the word ‘bitch’ with ‘slut’ completely changes the meaning of the title. Is it important? Well, it depends if you want the correct meaning to be portrayed or not.

Well I feel that I should have hit the 1000 mark on the 16th so that my second anniversary of joining Fuwa would have coincided. Though having taken 2 years to cross the 1000th post mark is pretty slow. The time I spent in browsing the net per day is generally 1-2 hours which is isn't too long. I normally spend around an hour here on Fuwa daily. That combined with me being a somewhat of a lurker and really lazy accounts for my comparatively meager post count. I realize that not many people know much about me and even I haven't really participated in a lot of the threads so it's kinda understandable. For me Fuwa is the first forum where I actually lasted more than a month and before I had never really been using forums at all. Staying in Fuwa was certainly a great experience for me with it's spectacular community. Since I wanted to keep it short and sweet this is all I'll say. I truly thank every member of Fuwanovel for making it such a great place.

Arguing on forums is also different in the sense that you're being read by other people than the one(s) you're arguing with. People kinda outside the debate are more likely to be sensitive to arguments on both sides because they might not have committed to an opinion yet, and therefore are less likely to rationalize in favor of their opinion etc Also, it's not common to see people changing their opinions in the course of a debate. Changing opinions happens on a much longer time scale, one of weeks or months or even years depending on how often you argue on the topic. It's still never a waste to argue because it forces you to put your arguments into coherent paragraphs, re-check your sources, take in opposing arguments & sources, etc...

When an argument reaches an apparent impasse, I do one of two things If I don't care, I walk away and make sure to let the other person have the last word, so they can "win" the argument. If I do care (rare, but it does happen, almost exclusively at work), I just keep explaining my position and I ask questions and try really hard to better understand their position and their reasons for holding it. People (at least the ones I meet - your experience may be different, especially those of you working in retail ) are actually pretty rational. If you're having that serious an argument, and what they're saying just doesn't make sense given what you know, then one or both of you is almost certainly just doing a poor job of explaining either your facts or your reasoning. So, both of you need to listen better and explain better, and you can usually work through that. Compromising, even on a really ugly argument, can be done (I know; I've done it, many times). But everybody involved has to fix their brains first, because people don't start that way. Practice by losing a lot of arguments. By that I mean actually admitting to yourself that you were incorrect, and further realize that it was a fact or rationale that the other person provided you that convinced you of your incorrectness. For that practice, I highly recommend philosophy - most of that shit hardly matters at all and is incredibly subtle. Find someone who knows more about it than you do and go to town.

I believe in myself to continuously seek out and find hidden gems in Eroge for now and the future to come, and I can keep it up because I have several references I use/follow (certain people on Twitter) to find them and I'm not limited to only the haphazard selection of works that are being translated to English. I suspect that the issue of selection is going to change very soon given that two of these references, Conjueror and Garejei, are on-board the selection train and are committed to continuously bringing us the highest or the second highest scenario-ge to the best of their abilities. I don't believe in B/M/S/VNs/Eroge/[X media], but I believe in media, and that I'll gain "intellectual value" (which, really, I'm attaching to the work), aka. enjoyment, from works I can find myself when I have that er, "faith". I've just then had to realize; despite using other people as references to find these, the fact still remains that I'm coming across them myself, and that's what I should "believe in" when it comes to media. Just wait until Himawari and Subarashiki Hibi get released and then read/play those; they have a lot to tell/to teach and manage to do so in little words (which is the best IMO). I'm sure those two works will spur on more of these sorts of discussions and people will find more value in the discussions and then the media they surround as a result.

Finished it a while back. It was amazing. I really enjoyed the comedy and the characters. The story itself was well structured and the execution was done nicely too. I actually liked the ost quite a bit and all the tracks were well used. I do one question regarding Claire though:

来た！ I was starting to get worried and was about to send an e-mail to book depository, but luckily my grandma knocked on my window and told me I got mail today and SURPRISE my book was in there! Now I know 4-8 business days to Portugal means literally 8 business days I didn't know light novels were this tall (never saw/ordered one IRL), I expected an A5 sized book. The illustrations are really nice. I'm going to be reading it in between classes. Definitely using book despository to order the rest of the collection as well now that I know everything works.

Hi Guys, It's been a little over 24 hours since the end of the Kickstarter and I can honestly say that, part of me feels like I'm still on the "battlefield" when I should be celebrating with everyone. When I woke up this morning, just like every day, I went through my routine thoughts, racing as they do, about what needed to do be done with the remaining time. Then it hit me, Kickstarter was over! o.O The past 120 days -- every day -- have been filled with intense planning, ups/downs, execution of ideas, surprises (see James's KS celebration comment), and fun. For me personally, switching gears has been a little slower than expected, but I've got my foot on the clutch and easing in. The intensity won't change, just the lane. There's many steps left to take before Libra comes to a full completion and we're committed to seeing it through to the end.
