  1. Oh jeez I'm running my first store this Sunday, solo, wtf so early, rumor has it the last two I-Supers's before me went through a year of training before they finally went solo, me a couple weeks, and btw they still didn't even give me my IS badge yet, scrooges. Meanwhile due to technical difficulties my essay which was due earlier today is now due at midnight, this is karma finally paying me back dividends for that earlier Plan A-Z failure to obtain English Textbook fiasco of mine heehehehehHAHAA Lastly Rewrite S2 anime has been the only weeberz stuff I've been keeping up with, in general I feel I may be transitioning outta this phase... Good riddance rite </3

  4. Looks like it's 20% off on Nutaku now, as well as on Steam. Not a bad price for those who don't want to wait until the release on Denpasoft.

    I want nukiges.

Hi, I am musclecow and I would love to have some nukige recommendations. FYI, I have only played the Sono Hanabira series so far I am looking for the following: Preferably english-translated. Have voice acting. Not yaoi preferably (though I have read/watched traps before) I understand from my search that there nukiges are largely armed with blackmail and such. If it is not too much of a trouble, I would greatly appreciate it if you could mention whether the recommended titles contain such elements. I greatly appreciate anyone who provide a relevant response. Thank you.

  6. The manga is fantastic. 9/10 My usual issues with romance and Shoujo tend to lie in characters that are dumb as bricks and melodrama. Neither issue is present in this manga, by my standards. When there is drama, I found that it originated from a reasonable situation and that it was resolved in a logical manner. Many common tropes are... subverted to an extent. Their execution is such that the presence of the trope did not bother me. Now. By all appearances, the anime adapted half, or less, of the manga. Furthermore, the anime seems to contain plenty of original material, with at least three extra characters designed by the mangaka. What this means is that the manga's wonderfulness cannot directly translate to the anime, as a lot of the good was in the interactions all characters shared, something original material cannot copy. I'd give it a chance anyway. Can't be much worse than meh. I'm not entirely averse to watching it myself. Reportedly, it also contains an ending of its own, although I cannot possibly guess what it'd be. The manga's was great.

  7. Saya no Uta is pretty good for this, in my opinion. It's short, but really twisted. It deals with isolation and insanity.

  10. Here's a wildcard. I came across the manga for Ultra Maniac after reading a wonderful Josei by the same author. So far so good. It's a romcom with a decent premise, and there's just something about the way that not everyone is a melodramatic moron that makes me love it. Having read 2/5 volumes it's a solid recommendation, except: I don't know what changes occurred in the anime. I don't know if the story gets worse. I don't know if the ending is good. If you're willing to put up with those caveats you may want to try it. If you aren't, you may wait for me to finish it (which shouldn't take more than a couple days).

  11. Is it your first game, you're working on? Care to share the links, at least? Your partner might not be entirely wrong about the whole situation. Everything depends on the quality of work. If you already had made a name for yourself in the past, it's much easier to find publishers willing to work with you, otherwise you might be having a lot harder times at finding remotely anyone to support your work. Therefore - the higher production values, the more "professional" your work looks, the easier it is to hook in people. That aside, more valuable publishers will only chose games that will actually sell and typically don't bother with small fries or newbie studios. If this is indeed your first game, I'd simply remain careful about hastily making "friends" in the dev world, especially within publishing circles. There's a lot of scamming involved. Work on your game, spread the word via devblog and social media/communities, keep people interested. Publishing and releasing a game is art in itself and most of it you'll have to learn yourself, if you want the best results. If you're serious about being a game developer, I'd recommend at least skimming through related Gamasutra's article section. There's a lot to learn from and most of it is shared by professionals.

  12. I did it, 100% success, it's actually not a bad idea if done right. LOL, I just watched tasty's video, no that is not done right, and boiling pasta in milk is not the problem of its receipe. Maybe I'l open a new thread...

  13. Don't be; the anime is a fairly accurate representation of the game. It has little to no story, the 'characters' are actually just caricatures, and only the art and voice acting redeem the product at all. Choosing a different Liquid game, or sticking with Clockup, or trying Cyc, would have been better.

  15. It's just that you need to clear all four heroines route first (Order didn't matter iirc), then you finished Kuro (Cro) route before you finally get Miu ending there. With that said, have fun for playing Chrono Clock.
