Chrono Clock question

Yeah, same thing happened to me. I think it's a combination of unusual factors, but this is all hypothesis, however likely: Nutaku as a platform probably doesn't have codes for them to give out Denpasoft store can only give out codes for things that are on sale They have an agreement that the game will be available exclusively on Nutaku for one month.3 points -
lol... I found most Key games boring when I tried to go back and play them... a lot of it is because they've aged poorly. I even found myself liking the anime better, in the case of Air. Stuff I thought was funny years ago sometimes brought a smile to my face, but I didn't laugh hysterically... though I did cry at the right moments (it isn't a Key game if you don't cry). All these years have made me immensely tired of games with tens of hours of slice-of-life, ahahaha.2 points

Why is Kud so adored?

I am also confused by why she is so popular. I thought maybe her route was just really good, but after reading it, my impressions are that it was just weird and confusing (Maybe I just wasn't used to the storytelling style yet. I liked Mio's route much better even though it employed a similar pattern). I suppose she is cute with her "Wafuu!", but not as adorable as Rin anyway.2 points -
She's the representative of the 'moe-loli' sub-species of heroine. Those same people tend to have similar reactions to any loli with an idiosyncratic personality, a weird gobi, and a slightly air-headed manner.2 points

So there was this really old manga that I read like years ago... almost a decade ago I think. It was about detective and stuffs, so the main character is this young innocent boy called Leo iirc and also an oneesan with big boobs...and black, long hair I think. This young boy actually had a split personality or smth?? Like he somehow goes batshit, and it somehow activates whenever he sees this oneesan's boobs when being exposed. I just can't remember the title somehow... does anyone know? That's pretty much all I could remember lol.1 point

My thoughts (route spoilers, obv) EDIT: @Kiriririri I hear you In Ayakashibito, Suzu was my favorite character, but sadly her route was kind of weak imo.1 point -
Also, keep in mind that Key's works are mostly non-ero (even if ero is added later). In the purest sense, Kud is a 'moe-loli', without the inherent sexual undertones that make people feel guilty for thinking such heroines are adorable. I'm not a Kud fan... and I am frequently exasperated at the way the 'loli as main/true heroine' trend keeps coming back. However, it is rather easy to understand why Kud is popular from an objective perspective.1 point

The Rom and/or Com challenge is on

The manga is fantastic. 9/10 My usual issues with romance and Shoujo tend to lie in characters that are dumb as bricks and melodrama. Neither issue is present in this manga, by my standards. When there is drama, I found that it originated from a reasonable situation and that it was resolved in a logical manner. Many common tropes are... subverted to an extent. Their execution is such that the presence of the trope did not bother me. Now. By all appearances, the anime adapted half, or less, of the manga. Furthermore, the anime seems to contain plenty of original material, with at least three extra characters designed by the mangaka. What this means is that the manga's wonderfulness cannot directly translate to the anime, as a lot of the good was in the interactions all characters shared, something original material cannot copy. I'd give it a chance anyway. Can't be much worse than meh. I'm not entirely averse to watching it myself. Reportedly, it also contains an ending of its own, although I cannot possibly guess what it'd be. The manga's was great.1 point -
Great, because the first two that come to my mind aren't translated. If you are looking for a great mindfucky story, then I think Sayonara wo Oshiete is the go-to VN to read. I even have a spoiler-free blog post here talking about the VN. After you have read that, I would recommend Subarashiki Hibi. This VN also has really good Mind-fuckery, but is a bit slow to get started and drags on in certain parts. But in general, it is a great VN. There is actually one other really good mind-fucking VN, but you have to wait until the last chapter to really get to that part. The whole VN is really interesting and nice to read so don't worry. I am talking about Symphonic Rain. Specifically the AL Fine portion. Another pro about Symphonic Rain is that unlike the other two titles I mentioned earlier, this one is translated.1 point

Psychological VNs similar to Evangelion
granit reacted to Funyarinpa for a topic
For the psychological aspect, you can also consider Virtue's Last Reward which deals with trust and betrayal (and has incredible sci-fi to boot). The thing is, it has a predecessor called 999 you've gotta play before VLR.1 point -
