08/06 - Paulette's new hscene released! Just extract patch3.xp3 from the 7.z directly in the game folder, overwrite the old patch3.xp3. Patch3.xp3 is a separate patch until it's completed. You still need the Full patch (hachi and hibiki, named patch2.xp3) + the restoration patch ( bandaids removal or heliosaurus restoration, named patch.xp3 ) Maitetsu 18+ Demosaic Patch - Paulette v0.4.7z2 points -

AX - Anime Expo 2018 News & Announcements
BookwormOtaku and one other reacted to littleshogun for a topic
Pretty late for the tier list here, so I decided to list the tier here seeing that Otakon here is coming closer. Here's the tier for this year AX, although to tell the truth it's been an average one because before AX we did have two big releases (Chaos Child and Evenicle) and therefore the releases were overshadowed the AX here (At least that's what I think here) Very Good Majokoi Rance IX Rance X Harumade Kururu Seeing that I've been keep my eyes constantly on Majokoi updates for almost two years, it should've been obvious that it would be one VN that I've been looking into, moreso if we knew the writer for this was Nijima Yuu. I just hope that Sekai will managed to release this by the end of 2018, although seeing their track record in regard of the release I wouldn't be so sure about that. As for Harukuru, I've been looking forward to this 'nukige' from the seiyuu alone since last year AX, especially Shizuka's seiyuu who was Shimizu Ai (She's your favorite seiyuu, isn't that right @TexasDice?). For IX well I've heard that it would solve the last plot thread in Sengoku so I've been looking forward into it, while for X I'm more or less just want to see the finale for Rance got translated even though from what I'd heard some part of the story was rushed. Good Lilycle Nine 1 ReLord 2 Kimikoi Flowers Autumn At least Kimikoi should be interesting if you've been into DDLC, although seeing that it's JAST we might need to wait for a while (ie very long time) here. Same goes with Flowers Autumn here, so it's quite unfortunate that those two good VNs were in this tier because of the mere fact that JAST did license those two - I still look forward to the eventual release of those two though. As for ReLord, at least we can see more witch and the graphic wasn't too bad so I guess I might be interested with that. For Nine, at least it had the very good graphic although it's still part one out of four VNs though, so I still have doubt on that. For Lilycle, more or less the graphic was looks like an idol mobage there albeit with yuri couple instead of idol. Not quite interested with this for now, but I'll keep my eyes on this if only for the seiyuu cast alone. Average Zombie VN YU-NO Remake Not quite interested with more than three parts VN here, so I'll just pass on Zombie VN here. As for YU-NO Remake, while the new arts were admittedly could be a big draw for people who consider old YU-NO graphic to be outdated, I'm more or less still fine with the older version graphic so I'll just pass on the remake here (At least old YU-NO graphics weren't as bad as original Higurashi art), besides from what I saw no much change happen so I'm more or less just ignore this. But at least it should be good that we got Steam version for this as well. Take Your Time JAST All of JAST Blue announcement Luckydog I was using JAST as the example because of they infamy to deliver the release for a very long time. Anyway, I'm more or less just didn't want to get interested with yaoi too much so I'll just pass on this. I know though that those VNs did have the fan, but unfortunately I wasn't one of those fans. Also forgot to say that most of JAST Blue announcement was very redundant (Already have the translation), so I would more than likely just pass the announcement from JAST Blue here even if I'm a yaoi fan here (And supposed new translation). I guess that's all that I can write in regard of AX here, and let's see whether we'll gonna have interesting announcements at Otakon later or not, especially Mangagamer one.2 points -

Hello Everyone.
Plk_Lesiak reacted to Rise Bell for a topic
Hello my name is Aki, There is nothing interesting to say about me other than that I am an ISM-Student and a part time software-engineer. I have been reading VN's for about 2,5 years just because i got dragged in to it by my friend. My fav genre of VN' is more a Comedy/ Slice of Live. With that said i am not particularly picky of what I read. I enjoy reading heavy-story VN's like Dies Irea , G-senjou, Sorcey Jokers (Asahi best girl btw). but also Princess Evangile and Dal segno. The only thing I can't stand is Gore. I first stumbled on Fuwa trough the Walktroughs and the VNTS. Been a Ghost member for half a year and now i have finally decided to make an account just to reply to a topic someone else made. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.1 point -
(8/1 update) Results of the honorifics survey
Dreamysyu reacted to littleshogun for a topic
Quite an interesting result there, with the majority still favoring honoriffic to certain extent. While I understand some people opinion here, I'm more or less just shrug this off which mean that I'm more or less okay with whatever approach that the VNs have. It's not like the approach to localized honoriffic would have big impact in understanding the story anyway, although admittedly sometimes it was necessary that we have honoriffic here for relation development. In the end, I'm mostly neutral about this albeit with some opinion that the usage of honoriffic here would be depend on the setting.1 point -
Is it Just Me or is the Translation of 2236 A.D. Not Good?
Nier reacted to littleshogun for a topic
It make sense I guess if we consider that it was released by the original company before it was finally released by Sekai, so most likely the developer themselves were work together with Sekai in regard of the translation resulting the awkward translation there. I don't know though if it might be deliberate or not, but as for me I would say that I'm fine with 2236 translation here even though I might not have the time to read this later.1 point -
This is the latest game released by Akabeisoft3, the bastard company made by Akabeisoft2 to take in all the subsidiaries of its parent company other than itself, Applique, and Akatsuki Works. The game was written by Nakajima Taiga, who first made his name as the writer of Dekinai Watashi ga, Kurikaesu and gained yet more fame with the utsuge Inochi no Spare. This game is a nakige, though it is one that leaves a lot more bitter in with the sweet than is normal. It is based in a Japanese inn called Yuki, where ghosts can interact with the physical world in order to complete the desire that keeps them in the world. In order to hide the fact that they are ghosts from the normal customers, the employees wear cosplay to make the unusual or out of season clothing the ghosts are often wearing not stand out. The protagonist, Haruto is the bantou, the male in charge of greeting customers arriving and taking reservations. He has been there for ten years and is seen as a reliable employee by the younger staff. He is very much a workaholic, performing his duties with absolute devotion and no real hesitation... it is just that those duties involve arranging the things that 'non-reservation customers' (the ghosts) need to fulfill their last desires. These desires are often simple things like wanting to say something or leave a message for a loved one, but can also be somewhat crazy things like wanting to get into a swordfight to the death. Haruto takes on all these requests without hesitation or any real emotional disturbance. Nonetheless, he does care. The partings in this game are probably the most vivid aspect... naturally, you come to know the ghosts' stories, and when the time for parting comes, it is always sad, even if you know they are going away happy and satisfied. I cried repeatedly during these scenes. There are four heroines in this game: Neko, the ghost of a girl who wanted to live freely but was unable to when alive; San, a cheery girl who gets along with everyone and enjoys her work; Kohane, a nervous otaku girl whose dream is to become a professional cook; and Sakine, a somewhat gloomy woman in her mid to late twenties who decided to work at the inn on impulse. Neko Neko was the first heroine I pursued, mostly because I have a thing for girls who say ~nyaa. Neko is a seemingly whimsical girl who loves to hang around the protagonist and constantly makes false attempts to play hooky from her work... but never really does so. Her path starts out as a soft romance between two souls with a lot in common... ... but the fact is that Neko is a ghost, and there was no way it was going to have a purely happy ending. Neko's path is full of small happiness and frequent sorrow, and the desire that binds her to the world is heartbreaking in and of itself. I honestly found myself crying for the entirety of the last hour of the path, to the point where I developed a sinus headache. Kohane Kohane is the assistant to Makoto, the fake homosexual cook (the story behind how that happened is hilarious in retrospect but it is part of a sad scene). She is shy and is very negative about herself, but there is enough iron in her core that she has managed to stay for one year under Makoto's extremely harsh tutelage. Kohane is a living heroine (as opposed to Neko, who was a ghost), and her path differs accordingly. Kohane's personal issues were actually fairly interesting... enough so that I was honestly able to empathize with the last scene and cry my eyes out (again). The last scenes in this path are all highly emotional, but there is a lot less bitter in with the sweet than Neko's ending, which feels more bitter. One issue that is common to both this one and Neko's path is that the protagonist's own issues aren't addressed, sadly for him, though it doesn't seem to bother him much (which is understandable once you know about him). It isn't a negative issue, since it makes sense within the context of the story. Sakina Sakina is the only full adult heroine in this VN (by the story, I'm guessing 27 or 28). Having quit her job previous to coming to stay at the inn, she decides to work there soon after the game begins. She is quiet, shy, and a bit gloomy at times. However, she is also kind and thoughtful. Unlike the other heroines, you will only rarely see her smile, but those few smiles are the ones that get you. Sakina's path is... tied up with the protagonist's past. The way this route turns out is different from the previous two (though I can't tell you why without spoiling), but it was interesting in and of itself. I didn't end up crying my way through the whole later part of the game, but the ending was uplifting and bright. San San is the game's central heroine. Her personality is bright and sunny, generous and giving by nature with a strong spirit. San is a student as well as one of the inn's hostesses (a job shared by Neko and Sakina), and her favored cosplay are a dog-girl, a maid, and a new wafuu (Japanese style) idol. Her path, like many central heroine paths, is the only one where all the major character issues are resolved (though only speculatively based on the epilogue in a few cases), and it is also the only one where the protagonist's own major issue is resolved. Like Neko's path, this one is very bittersweet, and like many cases in this VN, the partings here had me in tears for long periods of time, leading to sinus headaches (this game took me longer than it would have otherwise because I kept having to stop playing after I cried myself into a headache). I will say that I consider the ending to be a happy one, but, thinking of how San had to feel in the time between the ending and the epilogue breaks my heart even now... Overall Overall, this is an excellent nakige by a writer who seems to be able to write across all the genres and involving characters of all types and ages. For those who want a lot of catharsis, this is a great choice, but be prepared for a bit more 'bitter' in with the 'sweet' than is normal with a nakige (though it is still a nakige, rather than an utsuge). Despite my remarks on how bittersweet this game is as a whole, it should be noted that the atmosphere at Yuki, the ryokan (Japanese-style inn) that serves the setting, is very warm, welcoming, and downright familial to the point that I found myself wanting to jump into the game and stay a night there. I liked all the characters, including the side-ones, like Sentarou (the night security guard and exorcist that bears a passing resemblance to Archer from FSN), Toki (the century and a half hold ghost owner of the inn), and Makoto (the macho fake homosexual head cook). This isn't a kamige, though I'm tempted to call it one based on my general level of satisfaction, but it comes pretty damned close.1 point

Fateism reacted to HoplessHiro for a topic
ThugShiro - mega big thanks to ThugShiro. He donated the Steam Version! I can now look into a demosaic fix for the Steam version, but of course not before the final patch is finished! I will try my hardest to make it possible for steam users do enjoy the same game as the fakku users. So that there are no difference. PS. Just to be clear, you would still need the Fakku's 18+ DLC and I am not planing to work on a patch that gets the whole 18+ XP for the Steam without Fakku. Please don't expect something like this from me. Ps2. Added a new poll question. Just for fun sry for now removed the question because you can't just add a question until the old poll closes ( you can't answer the new question) will add it at a later time1 point -

Mangagamer Otakon 2018 Announcement
BookwormOtaku reacted to Mr Poltroon for a topic
First of all, editing and testing are factors that can take as long or more than the translation took. Especially because these are gameplay titles, and some of them non-linear at that. And it's not just the staff that takes longer. Gameplay titles also last longer for the players, so they at least avoid releasing gameplay titles in quick succession, and Evenicle came out just a bit over a month ago. If too many were released in succession, they would theoretically eat into each other's sales. Third, Decay is correct.1 point -
Personally, the game felt really pretentious so I had to drop it pretty early on. Couldn't really stomach the fact that I would have to go through another 30 hours of that stuff. Though, from all the things I've heard about it, it seems to have a little bit from every corner of the universe. I'll probably give it another chance in a couple years, but that time I'm definitely turning Zakuro's voice off.1 point

I assume you haven't played it then. The sexual innuendo leading up to the unlocking of H scenes is extremely strong. I beg to differ from your conclusion, especially since Lose are clearly a bunch of paedos lolicons.1 point

Reddit is saying that in the Q&A, Jast said Django won't be coming because it doesn't work on Windows 10. I've asked for confirmation in Jast's forum. Edit: Damn ninjas. Quit reading my mind like that, Decay. You'll go blind. That would explain why Django was stuck in 'awaiting translation' for literally years. They put it on the back burner when Win10 released. Three years ago. Did they say anything about Sumaga? That game was 70% through editing but it seems to have also completely stalled. So Django joins La Voyeur: Used Condom and Newscaster Mariko and Slave Bazaar, and one other Nitroplus title Jingai Makyou. Hopefully they won't now start denying they ever announced it (like they did to JM!)1 point -
