Another update, and currently the editing work by Irru is progressing steadily. Other than that we also have Yuzuki's route second pass is already done, although turned out that the team still decided to release both Mizuha and Yuzuki as separated patch (Initially the plan is to delay second pass of Yuzuki's route until Mizuha's patch is released). The translator also list the planned release date for both patch, in which for Mizuha's route it'll be on either December 24th or 25th (Obviously it'll make a good Christmas gift from Daybreak) with Yuzuki's route release will be on early 2023 later. No much to say other than the editing progress and the planned release date, so that's all for the update.

Marvelous Japan has announced that Loop8: Summer of Gods will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 16, 2023. They also announced that the Steam version will launch on March 21, 2023. This one will be published by XSEED Games. Loop8 was first announced during the Japanese Nintendo Direct on the 9th of February 2022 - damn, that long ago already, wow! While Marvelous Japan has announced the release date for the Steam version already, the western published Marvelous/XSEED have not confirmed this as of yet. Another update, and it's in regard of what PyroCyan said on Reddit. I'll quote his statements fully below. So yeah our PyroCyan here has the full translation patch that also have the TLC change up to Chapter 3, and in case there's a heavy emergency such as the team decided to abandoned this then he'll drop the patch as the leak. As for whether we can see this on Spring or Autumn next year, we'll see. If anything else, at least we already have someone who will leak the patch later if things goes awry, although of course the leak should be treated as the last resort only and so we should wait to finally have the programming be done. PS - Oh yes in case anyone wonder on how much final TLC on Chapter 4 (Licia's chapter) ongoing, currently it's been at 92.24% done (By the way I mentioned this as 'in programming' in my VNTS Review because there's some earlier mention that the TLC is already done for all chapters).

Dang, I already have this on steam. I hope it sells well on the Switch--- love that we're getting more and more ports! Was I expecting the Switch of all things to become a portable VN machine when I bought it? Honestly, no. Glad it is.

The console port of Harmonia (Visual Arts/Key) was released on Nintendo Switch recently on Oct 20, 2022. Come to think of it, this was probably the last work from Key where Itaru officially worked as the company illlustrator. She quit the company in Sept 2016 and Harmonia came out literally three days later on Sept 23. ~~~~~ How did you guys like Harmonia? I really liked Itaru's coloring in this game, the skin tone is especially well done, particularly noticable on the thighs pictured above and oppais on the in-game CG. But otherwise I have the impression that the face she draws has gotten more derpy compared to her peak in Clannad. I mean they don't look that bad, but they come off rather flat, in both sense of the word. The voice acting was lovely as well. I associate Mizuhashi Kaori with the violent pettan tsundere from Baka to Test who starts speaking gibberish in German when she's flabbergasted, but Shiona from Harmonia (the blonde girl above for those who haven't played the game) has a diametrically opposite character compared to Minami. A holy sister overflowing with babumi... Not really my fetish but her voice soothes my depraved soul. When it comes to the music, well, you've got Orito Shinji working on most of the music in this agame. I don't have the game installed on my PC right now, so I can't check whether it's him, but I like the BGM embed above the most. I think it captures very well the vibe of the town in the story, an oasis in the middle of a decaying world. A temporary breathing space, but will the peaceful days last forever? This faint trace of wistfulness and unease in an otherwise relaxing piece is something Key does very well, in my opinion. Unfortunately I won't be buying this console port for now, due to the grave reason of... not having a Nintendo Switch at home. This port allows you to switch the language between Japanese, English, and Chinese (probably in-game like the Steam edition of Little Busters), so it's not like I'm not interested in it, since I'd like to try reading it in the original language. Maybe one day I'll get a Switch and the game, when I'm not using my shiokuri for onaholes and onsei sakuhin on DLsite. It's a short kinetic novel, and a very good one at that. Recommended for those with a Nintendo Switch and a penchant for emotional stories. The price goes around 25 USD on the Nintendo E-Shop, which is suprisingly a little bit more expensive than the Japanese price (2,980 Yen, around 20 USD). I guess one could also say that this port is worth three games, so it's not really expensive in the end.

With the writer was revealed as Ryukishi, the trailer here did sneakily made reference to his past work (Higanbana, in that it's the flower in the movie). As for what I can say, well I'm not going to play this but at least I know that Ryukishi here would be meddled by the director like back on both of Iwaihime and Loopers (Doubly so because it's Konami), so perhaps keeping the expectation a bit lower might be help. At the very least, Ryuukishi here didn't write another Higurashi title that supposed to be the continuation of Miotsukushi, seeing that having Gou and Sotsu as Matsuribayashi's so-called sequels are controversial enough (And not to mention it did forcefully link Higurashi with Umineko).

I don't exactly know if the translator can find more time to do more programming work and then finally do the QA here, but of course I hope that he can finally find the time to do both and thus finally have Eustia released after a very long wait to have it in English (It's been more than 11 years since the release). Let's see if we finally can see the full translation patch in Spring 2023 later. PS - I can still say that I like to see whenever there's a number increase in the current bar, especially when the increase is quite big like few days ago which lead to finally we had reach past 90% TLC-ed mark in Licia's chapter.

Clannad Licensed by Sekai Project Clannad is a Japanese Visual Novel created by the company Key which is known for its other titles such as Air and Kanon. Clannad, unlike its predecessors, does not contain any adult content but instead, focuses on the relationships between the characters. Story Clannad's story revolves around Tomoya Okazaki, a third year high school student who dislikes his life. Tomoya's mother (Atsuko) died when Tomoya was young, leaving his father (Naoyuki) to raise him. After the accident, Tomoya's father turned to alcohol and gambling, and held frequent fights with his son. One day, Naoyuki, again arguing with his son, slammed Tomoya against the wall, dislocating Tomoya's shoulder. Ever since then, his father has treated Tomoya nicely, but distantly, as if Tomoya and he were strangers rather than a family. This hurts Tomoya more than his previous relationship with his father, and the awkwardness of returning home leads Tomoya constantly to stay out all night. Additionally, the injury disables Tomoya from participating in his basketball club, and pushes him to distance himself from his school and other activities. Thus his delinquent life begins. Tomoya's good friend Youhei Sunohara, who got thrown out of the soccer club for a dispute, is also a delinquent and often hangs out in his dorm room with Tomoya doing nothing much.
