No idea on why they still working on QA again, although perhaps it's because Ginharu is indeed has a lot of issues, especially in regard of line breaks and also probably want to make sure there's no error left in the route. There's also the matter of adding subbed ending and translating the image, which even Tsurezure is not be able to do so (Insert the subbed ending), so at least there's quite a dedication there. Are you using gss-dev? That tool's outdated. I'm not even sure it would work on Win11. Maybe that's why you're getting errors. It's also possible it doesn't support the SystemNNN version of the game you're trying to use it on. I suggest you try VNTranslationTools instead.

Just a quick opinion here : when trying to learn the language, it might be better to avoid games with gameplay, as the tools to help you aren't best suited for gameplay parts. I don't know if the dating sim you have in mind should be in the 'have gameplay' category, but keep in mind that it might be easier for you to stay in the normal VN perimeter to learn JP. As for your question in itself, sorry I know too little about dating sims and let someone else answer you.

Dev Update 000.42 Happy Holidays from Ray-Out Studio! Salute, guys! We are still here and still working! We just wanted to wish you long and happy holidays! Some news: We finally have a song for the in novel Intro! More precisely, it appeared before the holidays, but the singer is finalizing it, we are busy with the demo version, videos, translations and other fuss. Also, we recently found a note from Jeannette, but it turned out to be too negative for the New Year holidays, so if anyone is interested, it will be posted some time later.
