  1. If Rin didn't ended up with harem, then perhaps it mean that the writer only follow what the late Agobarrier has in regard of the couple, in which I'm sure that Agobarrier set Rin with Shia while the new writer probably prefer Rin being faithful to one heroine. That, or Agobarrier did forgot to add special privilege of being married with God in his draft, namely that it should be possible for Rin to have harem as long as he marry Shia first. So of course Argo here would likely set that Rin is have his own harem, and that so-called Nerine's adoptive granddaughter was probably set as Nerine's blood granddaughter by Agobarrier in his mind before the new writer decided to mess that as well. While in the end the writer point out that there's a possibility where Rin have his harem, it's probably only serve as damage control from the players outrage who probably didn't like to see Rin only marry one heroine (Well technically two as Shia's route show us). In the end, I guess Navel here really want to reboot this series with less harem. Although whether I'll play this or not if this is translated, I guess I'll skip it. That said first Shuffle here is still my first proper VN though, and that fact will not change. PS - Actually the Da Capo writer himself is quite good in that he's the one who wrote true common route along with both of Himeno's and Ricca's routes, but of course Da Capo style here obviously would be clash with what Agobarrier have in mind.
  2. Late to the party here, and may as well promote my blogpost through this link here. As for which VN that has less school, Amrilato and Nanairo should be good enough although keep in mind that Amrilato is have girl x girl relationship. Damekoi did have 28 years old grown man that fall in love with 16 years old high school girl, and I think you should be okay as long as you've been open minded with that. The rest of the VNs did have school setting, although Hoshiori here did have the MC and heroine goes beyond high school and have their own after stories outside school (Duh). Also while Baldr Sky here have school setting, actually the main premise is more like in a post catastrophe world and that it have war setting (The school setting itself is mainly for the flashback that explained the world before catastrophe). Lastly while I did recommend Nine Episode 1 only you should play Episode 2 as well because it's when it started to get good, and I seconded Aokana recommendation here. PS - I don't know if you still searching for the recommendations, but if you do hopefully my blogpost could be helpful to you.
  3. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and if you need some VN recommendations feel free to ask. I hope that you'll have fun here.
  4. Admittedly Amane's bad ending is interesting in that it bring the information that has big foreshadowing for the sequel, although at the same time the information was pretty much useless in both ending though (Bad end for a very obvious reason, while the good end tell us that both of Amane and Yuuji didn't really need the information to move on).
  5. Been trying all Atelier PS3 games that were recently released for PC, and yeah I know that I'm very late for this. Between Arland and Dusk trilogy here, I think for now I slightly prefer Dusk here although of course both have their own charm. Also I want to say that Rorona as the first game of Arland trilogy would be a wake up call from GUST in regard of the gameplay in that you should pay attention on the action that you do unless you want to get the bad ending several times, especially if you just directly play it after finished Mana Khemia or Mysterious trilogy.
  6. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and I did have dog instead of cat if you want to know. As for the VN, while to be honest I didn't pay much attention to OELVN I would still say good luck with your project. Feel free to ask more VN recommendations if you need it, and I hope that you'll have fun here.
  7. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and sorry for the belated greeting. No much to say other than good luck to your project, and I hope that you'll have fun here.
  8. While the title is pretty fitting for Utawarerumono remake that was released back at May 26th, unfortunately it's not the case because the subtitle for the remake is 'Prelude to the Fallen' which to say was not idiosyncratic with the rest of the trilogy. Anyway welcome to this week VNTS Review and as for this week we have the highlight Utawarerumono remake release and more importantly Sol Press big decision in regard of their VN business, and along with that we also have Nekonyan and fan translation updates here. So yeah overall this week is more active compared to the last week which is good enough, and let's see what I can write for this week as well here. The release for Wanko of Marriage was delayed, and let's just say that they should make sure that they already ready before announce the exact release date. From Sekai we have Amairo Chocolata was at 45% edited, and their third secret project was at 37% translated (I wonder when the project will be revealed). From fan translation we have Taimainin Yukikaze 2 was at 60% translated, Kud Wafter all age version was at 40.48% translated, Miagete FD was past three quarter (76.83%) with Miharu's (The former elementary teacher of the MC for the info) route was fully translated, and the new fragments from Matsuribayashi PS3 version was at 39% translated. Recently we have Sol Press gave us some big updates along with the big announcements in that they'll stop licensing new VNs because turned out that the VN markets is not quite profitable for them. While it's too bad that Sol Press probably wouldn't joined the VN localization market, honestly it should be the best action for them seeing that they already gathered enough circumstances on how they may overwhelmed with the VNs license. So hopefully with no more VNs announcements from them, they can start clean their VNs backlog one by one as they planned. If I want to summarized what Sol Press did it wrong in regard of VN market, there would be too much seeing that they made so many questionable actions in the past. As for the updates, we have Irotoridori was at 88% translated along with 66% edited, Nukitashi was fully translated along with a quarter edited, and Sakura Celebration was almost fully (99%) translated along with 61% edited. That's all for Sol Press, and hopefully they'll be able to be able solve their own problem (Along with start working on Mirai Radio). As for this month Nekonyan's updates, we have several. For the roundup we have Riddle Joker was 20% in QA, Aokana Extra 1 was at a quarter translated along with 10% edited, IxSheTell was at three quarter translated, and their first secret project was at 23% translated. Other than the roundup, we have Kirikoi update in that apparently Nekonyan team did have a hard time to work with Siglus engine (The engine that Visual Arts VNs used, and it mean Saga Planet VNs as well seeing that it's under Visual Arts), so they decided to port it to Unity and right now the porting in progress. For Kirikoi's translation progress, currently it's been at 65% translated along with 20% edited. Lastly we have Hello Lady FD fully translated along with the editing was planned to be finished by the end of this month (June), so naturally we can say that Nekonyan's next release should be Hello Lady but whether they can do it at this year or not let's see it later. That's all for this month Nekonyan's progress. For Utawarerumono remake the publisher did promise us that the gameplay would be like the sequel duology, and admittedly it's quite close although they didn't fully implement the feature from the sequel though. Of course even with no full feature implemented the new version here is still the massive improvement compared to the old PC version, and in addition there's the additional fights that allowed the grinding in order to make the harder battle easier. I think I didn't need to tell the premise of first Utawarerumono here seeing that it should be already well known seeing that it's been available for 12 years, and in case you didn't want to play there's always the anime to understand the story (The story in the remake is almost the same with the older version). As for the release, currently we only have console version although apparently there'll be PC version so if you want to play the improved version of Utawarerumono on PC then you should wait more. Lastly get Utwawarerumono remake if you've been wanted to play the improved version for a while and own the console, and have fun. Almost forget that we have Kimikoi released at Steam so if you want to know on why people did keep compared Kimikoi to DDLC and yet didn't want to read the sex scenes, then you can get it from Steam. Of course while it's been censored, Kimikoi here is still not fitting for the children at under 13 years old. Or really you shouldn't play it at least until you're 18 years old, because even without the sex scenes the topic that Kimikoi discussed here is rather heavy and don't forget the infamous disturbing scene that surely wouldn't been censored by JAST. I bring the age here because there's some controversy about age in regard of DDLC so much that it was talked in BBC News, and that some parents blame DDLC just because their children did ignore the warning or something like that. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
  9. Happy 31st birthday to our mod @Plk_Lesiak, and I hope that you'll have a good birthday there.
  10. Already joined the server.
  11. As for Nalmar guide it's not possible to follow it step by step seeing that the event is randomized, although of course it's still useful to a degree in that you may need some help on some situation. Alicesoft's guide is pretty comprehensive, so I had nothing to add here. I never use cheat in any gameplay VN here, and yeah I already beat this once back when Mangagamer still not translate this (Duh). As for my tips, you should beat Ashikaga, Uesugi, Akashi, and Houjou in that order if you want some easier time. As to avoid Takeda beat Houjou and Uesugi (And therefore screwed the gourd order), declare war to both of them (Not Takeda obviously). Of course you shouldn't beat Houjou after Akashi fall, but instead I would say that you should beat Masamune after Akashi (Don't forget to recruit Kazemaru and clear his event). Note that by the time you finished Houjou, you should be ready for the war against the fiend. Lastly if you wonder on what bonus that you should take in character events, then you should take 'Level +2' bonus because level is REALLY matter for the final boss and that Alicesoft here didn't give level up each time after commander battle. At least they give us level each time you clear dungeon so exploit it as much as possible, and KEEP using level up item that you get each time you free five prisoners to Rance, and only Rance. PS - I don't know if some of those are still apply to Mangagamer version, but hopefully it still apply.
  12. I only know that this VN was turned out to be more lighter than what the cover would imply, at least according to Beliar's review (Not that I want to test it anyway as of now).
  13. The character in question is Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic anime. I hope that my answer here should be suffice enough.
  14. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for this week let me blunt that this week is pretty much a dry one seeing that almost no companies have the updates (I know that we have Kimikoi Steam version and Utawarerumono remake release today, but I decided to talk about those two at next VNTS Review). That said we have Aksys give us the release date for their three console otome VNs, so at least there's something to look forward if you've been otome VN fan. Other than that, at least we have some fan translation updates here so it's not too bad here. In any case, I'll hope that we'll going to have more interesting updates at the next week. Let's see what I can write for this week, even though this week would be a short one. For Aksys otome VNs release date, we have Collar x Malice Unlimited release date at August 21st later. For the rest of the two, we have Piofore release date at September 10th and Enchante at November 13th later. No much comment other than it's nice of Aksys to manage to released all of the three otome VNs as promised back when they announced those at AX 2019, so good for them. Speaking about AX, I wonder if we'll going to have both of Mangagamer and Sekai reveal their license directly at July beginning later in exchange of the absence of this year AX, so I guess for now I can only say that I'll see if they can do it later. Right now we have a sudden new project, and the new project goal in question is to translate the nukige Taimainin Yukikaze 2 in which it's the sequel of the first VN and the sequel here is blatantly make the majority of the first game event as non-canon by having the heroines still not experienced their first time yet (And yes I play the first VN so I know exactly on how the story goes). For the progress currently we have the partial patch released in which it translate Yukikaze's route, and for the overall translation progress it's been at halfway translated. For the rest of the updates, we have Eustia was at 89.21% translated with side route was at almost 30% (29.97%) translated, Kud Wafter all age version was at 32.14% translated, and Miagete FD was at 63.74% translated with Korona's route was fully translated. Lastly we have Miotsukushi Ura was put on hold because the team did prepare for Matsuribayashi mod, and currently they've been working at Connecting Fragments section which in turn it's quite long seeing that they apparently add the new fragments that available for PS3 version with the current progress was at a quarter translated. I guess that's all for fan translation here. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and sorry if it's been too short here. See you next week. PS - As for the title seeing that we have Matsuribayashi release back at 14th and Utawarerumono remake today, I decided to join 'Matsuri' along with 'Prelude to the Fallen' so we have 'Prelude to the Festival' as this week VNTS Review title (TL Note: Matsuri mean festival).
  15. I guess Katahane would be qualify seeing that it have GL relationship along with the journey theme, although it also have male and girl relationship as well. Other than that you can try Flowers tetralogy as well, although currently only two out of four part (Spring and Summer) that currently available in English though. It still conclusive enough to a degree on it's own, so you can try it directly. I don't know if you already tried those VNs or not, but regardless of that I hope my recommendations here will be helpful to you.
  16. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. No much to say other than feel free to ask some VN Recommendations if you want it, and I hope that you'll have fun here.
  17. The reason is simply to test on whether the user can delete the thread or not, and if the user can't it mean that the one who delete the previous threads is the moderator (I did try it in order to answer Marcus-beta's question).
  18. Once again good video there, although you did miss Sakuramori release though. About Genesis, well it surely would have a lot of sex scenes seeing that even VNDB categorized it as nukige, so yeah I'll pass it. As for Alka, rather than both of Miagete FD and Kud Wafter my focus is on whether they can keep their pace for Reflection Blue later or not, but of course the new projects are always welcome. For Saya no Uta, I can't comment on that other than JAST should do some checking before distributing the hardcopy. Speaking about hardcopy, I did remember Aokana hardcopy KS and actually Switch release here is actually one of their promise back at KS, so nice to see that Nekonyan can fulfill another of their obligation (Recently they did post at their KS update in that they already have the sample for the box). No much to say for Majikoi A series, but at least only two games left to have all of Majikoi games to be translated (With the assumption that there'll be no more Majikoi project, although apparently we'll have another one). In the end, I can say that April as quite a nice month with two big VNs releases (To me), Makeover and Sakuramori. And seeing that they (Nekonyan) already almost complete with Hello Lady, I guess we may have the release for that in this year as well although it's more or less just my wishful thinking though.
  19. Good news I guess, although whether it can reach overseas or not is another issue though. Then again seeing that Inuyasha is quite popular, I guess it wouldn't be surprising to see this localized in one way or another. Technically Inuyasha here is actually isekai anime with female MC, although of course our focus would be on Inuyasha anyway seeing that it's his name in the title and all. By the way I'm not quite into Inuyasha here, although I still know that it's quite well known in Indonesia seeing that it's been broadcasted in the past.
  20. Welcome to this week VNTS Review. As for this week title since we have Mangagamer announce Escalayer exact release date and we have a sudden BL nukige release, I just combined those two into 'Sayuka's Practice Diary' with Sayuka here is the main heroine of Escalayer (By the way I always thought that it was written as Sayaka) and the localized title for the BL nukige itself is 'Hiiragi's Practice Diary'. What I can comment about this week would be it's an average seeing that there's no major release, although arguably Matsuribayashi release here would be quite big though if only for the sake of modding it seeing that the old version of PS2 patch here is pretty much messy because there's no PS2 adaptation of Matsuribayashi. Another thing to note that recently we have Sekai frequently give us some updates, which is good enough. With this done, let's see what I can write for this week as well here. For the aforementioned BL VN, well not interested but at least it should be good if you like it I suppose. The release for that once again was quite sudden, so admittedly it's fly under my radar here. We also have KukkoroDays with premise that was basically boiled down as a mysterious main heroine was suddenly appear in the MC room and that she said that she's from another world, and that she'll stay in the MC house until she find a way to go back to her world. Not much to say other than at least there's more translated isekai VN out there even though most of those are only short nukige though, and feel free to try it if you interested with it. Almost forget to said that the BL nukige here is fan translated VN, while for KukkoroDays here it's the official release from the creator themselves. Lastly we have Wanko to Marriage release was delayed from 13th to 28th later, so you need to wait if you want to play it. As for this week fan translation updates, we have Eustia was at 89.14% translated with side routes was past a quarter (29.51%) translated, Miotsukushi Ura was almost halfway (49%) translated, Kud Wafter all age version was at 18.80% translated, Miagete fandisc was past halfway (50.23%) translated with Orihime's route fully translated, Shin Koihime Musou was at 34% edited, and we have a sudden update from Amayui in which currently it's been at almost three quarter (74%) translated. Lastly we have 14,425 lines of Pure x Connent translated with additional note that Moemi's route fully translated, so with this we have four routes still untranslated and good job to the translator to finished one route. For Sekai, while granted that the updates is not much, I appreciate their current pacing in that currently they tried to give the updates as often as possible. The updates is we have Kimagure about to start the translation, Sanarara R was at a quarter edited, Amairo Chocolata was fully translated along with 20% edited, and Nine Episode 3 was at 15% translated. No much to say other than I'm waiting for Daybreak update, so that's all for this week from Sekai. We have many updates from Mangagamer, especially in regard of their secret project. But before going to the update, I'll try to talk about their release here. As we know we have Mangagamer did rerelease Matsuribayashi, and with this it mean that we all original Higurashi being retranslated with Matsuribayashi was supposed to be the ending of Higurashi's game. Anyway the premise is that after finally go through the horror of Hinamizawa, the team confront the source of misfortune that haunt them across previous seven games. While Matsuribayashi here did quite a good job to tying up the plot, I also understand that some people might not like it so we have another ending (Miotsukushi) created in order to allow the people to chose the preferred ending. With this done, it mean that we have the whole Higurashi was fully retranslated and after that Mangagamer will translate the rest of the side stories which to say was quite a number. In any case have fun if you want to play the original last part of Higurashi, although if you want to play Matsuribayashi with the updated CG then you must wait for a while seeing that the work for the patch was just started. As for Mangagamer's next release, once again it's Escalayer in which they'll release it at June 11th. While I did think that it's interesting that we got more magical girl VN, I also know that the gameplay is less refined compared to Haruka. Even with all said here, I'll still play it anyway of only for the magical girl heroine. For the rest of the updates we have Mangagamer did reveal 1st secret project was Musicus (Overdrive's Swan Song) which not surprising at all, considering that we already know for a while and that I started to think that one of the secret project might be Musicus. It's still nice though to see Mangagamer reveal it, and currently it's been at 77% translated along with 76% edited. We also have two more secret project revealed, in which currently it's been worked at sizable amount (3rd secret project was at 86% translated along with 81% edited, while for the 4th secret project was at 83% translated along with 71% edited). For the rest of the updates, we have both of Mugen Renkan and Room No.9 finished the testing, Genesis was fully translated along with 40% edited, and Sona-Nyl's bonus content (Refrain) was at a quarter translated. That's all for Mangagamer's update. That's all for this week VNTS Review and sorry for being late here. See you next week.
  21. Saeko from Tsujidou is have two personalities, one as cool teacher in the school and heavy drinker at home. Granted that she's only a side heroine, but at least it's still count becahse she have a route with Hiroshi (Only a side route though). For more example, there's Utawarerumono sequel duology in that both of Atuy and Kuon like to drink with Kuon like to drink mead (Basically alcoholic drink that was created from honey). Lastly, there's also Yuka from Never7 with one CG depict her drink an alcohol in bikini.
  22. Congratulation for the revival there, and good luck for the Christmas release there.
  23. Unfortunately there's no other translation project there, so there's no place for updating the progress. Also unfortunately while there's a plan from the publisher themselves in that they'll retranslate it, so far there's no update in regard of that. So yeah there's no choice other than read it at current situation, which is not ideal solution I must say. In the end, it's too bad that there's no proper translation of Your Diary yet here which is a shame seeing that the art is quite good.
  24. As for Sayori, admittedly her arts are quite good. In fact I used her Touhou art mod when I did play Labyrinth of Touhou, and I didn't realized that it's her arts until recently. It's just too bad that most of her works are in nukige or simple moege (ie Nekopara) though, but then again that kind of VNs would surely need some good arts so I guess it's not wrong if Sayori work on those title. Lastly, good luck to your project there.
  25. That's an interesting way to avoid the censorship I guess, with Frontwing (FW) did cut the common route and all. Although actually it's not exactly their first time to cut the majority of the content for Steam version though, in that the first time they did this was back at Subahibi. As for my opinion, I'll just pass for this and waiting for Hatsumira, if only because Hatsumira was more interesting if we look at the premise (For the reminder, FW did mention at their Reddit AMA that they'll release both of this VN and Hatsumira). I like the opening song though, which is quite fitting seeing that it's quite chilling and the setting is in the winter.
