Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the very belated greeting, @Raidy. As for how to expand on this universe, there are several VNs available on Steam, so maybe you can wait until sale if you look a VN that appear to be interesting to you. Anyway, feel free to ask for recommendations if you need it, and I hope you'll have fun in here.

Interesting seeing that Maeda chose Clannad based on his misunderstanding there, and by the way the Irish word for family is just 'Clann'. As for Kanon, it's the musical term with what I can pick from the Wiki is 'contrapuntal (counterpoint-based) compositional technique that employs a melody with one or more imitations of the melody played after a given duration', although Sayuri did explain it in 2006 anime episode 14 as 'it repeats the same melody and crescendos gradually, peacefully, and beautifully' while Pachelbel's Canon playing in the background. As for why Maeda chose Kanon as the title, well I don't know.

Welcome to this week VNTS Review. For the title, because we have Futamata Ren'ai in QC with the VN tried to make the MC like Makoto of School Days along with ToHeart Remake trial release, I made the parody of the older VN from 0verflow (The developer of School Days) where they started their crazy, I mean intricate world building, Snow Radish Vacation, by changed 'Snow' into 'Heart', so we have 'Heart Radish Vacation' as the title. For this week, obviously this is a breather after the last week with the updates and announcements, and so it's an average one. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Once again we have ToHeart Remake trial released, so feel free to try the trial if you have doubt whether the new 3D graphics of it will be good for you or not. Shiravune also announced another title, and the title is Garudoma along with it's fandisc. For the VNs, it's about the MC where he got the job as the manager in a dormitory for all girls school, and naturally he was hesitated at first before he learnt that he may as well enjoy the benefit of it, namely to be able to have sex with the three of its inhabitants. Well it's more or less nukige, and it's certainly not the upcoming Amakano 3 even with Garudoma has quite nice graphic with it was made by the branch company of Azarashi Soft. Shiravune also announced the exact release date for Mashimaro Steam version, with they'll release it on July 9th later. After waiting for a while, finally Visual Arts have the exact release date for Reflection Blue, and they'll release it on Friday (27th) later which is exactly around the time where the first cour of Summer Pockets anime ended (For the info Summer Pocket got the anime adaptation in Spring 2025 with it have 24 episodes (2 cours)). Seeing Alka already release the translation patch of it three years ago, obviously to me the release is redundant, although feel free to note the date if you want to buy it from Steam later. For fan translation updates, we have 43.71% translated lines of Loverable are approved, Sousaku Kanojo is at 55% edited with its assets work is 80% done, Dekinai is almost fully translated with it now is at 90% translated, and Natsu no Ame is at 13% translated. That's all for fan translation updates. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

[Gemini] Walkure Romanze More&More | COMPLETE
littleshogun replied to Vanad's topic in Translation Projects
I still say that the translator should at least try to use manual translation first, but if the result is good then okay (Not that I should be the one who say this anyway seeing I did help Amayui 1 MTL patch in the past). Anyway, have fun if you decided to play this in case you already decided to do so just because you want to see more of Walkure Romanze and obviously for Hitomi Nabatame-voiced love-making scenes. -
Discipline: Record of a Crusade English to Spanish
littleshogun replied to EL_IMBÉCIL's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
Considering there's no posts since 2019 with the translator's MAL page was apparently deleted, I would say the project was dead unless the translator decided to re-open the project. -
I've been playing Karenai Sekai (The main story is already finished with after stories left), Daresora (Too short even considering the problematic production and it's being the so-called prologue), and Putrika (The story wrapped up neatly with the casts set up the new journey). I also already played both of Liberator and Ixseal, and I'll try to write about both later although for now I can say that both Escude and Alicesoft improved the VN compared to their respective past entries).

Dorama of the Year 1998 - GTO (1998)
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Dorama of the Season
Out of all dorama, I only noticed Tabloid and it's just because the premise resemble the finished manga that I read was also has the same premise, except the main characters was uncovered the scandal because they like it with the bonus the scandals could affected a lot of people. Other than that, no much that I can talk about so that's all for what I can comment in regard of 1998 dorama. -
For this week title, because we finally have Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete full translation patch available, I made parody of its English title, In Search of the Lost Future, with I changed the word 'Future' into 'Jewel', so we have 'In Search of the Lost Jewel' as the title. As for the reason on why I chose the word 'Jewel', it's because I decided to shortened the title as Ushieta with that word is from the characters from a fanfic that has the story about the search of the mythical jewel, Ushi and Eta. As for this week, besides Ushieta release we have Shiravune announced three title at once and also new fan translation projects. Of course, there's also Nekopara 5 release with it the last title for Nekopara VN series. Overall this week is an interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. We have Loverable programmer telling us in VNDB that he can't fulfill the target for August 2025 release because the editor was forced to quit the project with he's now the last remaining original member, thus putting the project's future in question. That said, he feel that he was too far to consider himself quitting the project seeing it's been nine years since the project started (And I remember on how I did keep tracking the progress way back in 2016), so he decided to keep continuing with the project as long as it's possible (The post in regard of it). As for the current progress, currently Loverable is already fully translated and edited with almost 40% (39.4%) lines are approved. We also have another updates on Majikoi A Plus Disk, and currently it's been at 16.21% edited. Frontwing did release Kanade, and what I understand is that it's shorter compared to Perennial Dusk. That, and the story is lighter even with the post apocalypse world setting where it was overrun by the plants. For the premise, our MC Yuuto met the titular character Kanade with she said that she was half-alien along with have the mission to save the world through the song, which contain the power to pacify the plants. From there, Yuuto and Kanade start their love story. Go get Kanade if you've been waiting for it, and have fun. Once again we have Sekai manage to released Nekopara 5, and for the info it's still not available on Steam so you need to go to the other store if you want to get it. For the content, it's more or less like Nine Shinsou in which it's the after stories for the series with the MC finally can have sex with his own little sister Shigure together with the other catgirls. Go get Nekopara 5 if you're waiting for it since it was announced in AX 2022, and have fun. Once again we have Shiravune announced three titles at once, and the first one is Criminal Border Last Part (Life Sentence) in which it's obviously the last part of Criminal Border with we'll have the group dealing with the aftermath of the event in Part 3. Also apparently it's not as good as previous episodes, although you may find yourself have another opinion if you decide to play it later. The second announcement is the second VN of ExS-Tia Parallel series, Reunion, which is actually related to ExS-Tia 3 with the main heroine heard the news about her older sister who was supposed to be dead following the event of ExS-Tia 3, which make it some sort of the sequel of ExS-Tia 3 even though ultimately the story is still standalone. For the last announcement, we have E School Life with it being Hooksoft VN, which is not really surprising if we remember Shiravune localized HaremKingdom. For the story, it's about the MC who was back to have school in Japan after he has enough studying in overseas, and from there he does his best to get the girlfriend. Note that there's no exact release date for all three new announcements, so I'll note it if Shiravune announce one later. One of Alicesoft's fan decided to work on Toushin Toshi 3, and currently it's been at 20% translated along with 10% edited. For Toushin Toshi 3, from what I see it was set in one of the city at Rance world, Toushin city (It also the setting for Rance IV), where the annual Toushin Tournament held with each contestant accompanied by beautiful female partner and the winner can do anything to the loser's partner. For Toushin Toshi 3 premise, we have the MC Natch searching for his father who have been missing in the tournament five years ago, and obviously he'll need to do his best in the tournament. We also have a new project with a goal to translate Natsu no Ame (The link to the project). I do remember that my roommate used to playing this with ATLAS, so it's nice to see it finally has translation project. For the story, we have the MC Sousuke who was suspended from the soccer club and yet he still train in case the suspension get revoked. One day, he met an older girl where he made some mistakes to helping her, and as soon as he get back home he find out the girl was his long lost half-sister. Oh yes, it already has some progress in which it's been at 9% translated. Lastly, we have the aforementioned Ushieta with it was adapted into the anime back in 2014. For the premise, we have the MC who is the member of the astronomy club with the club is in reality more like de facto of student council with their job is to solve the problems that the real student council have. One day after Sou stays in the infirmary until night because he was injured by one of judo club member, he felt the school building shaking with Sou goes to the center of the shake. There, he find the naked girl who introduce herself as Yui with she know a lot about Sou for some reasons. Afterwards, Yui decided to join Sou into the astronomy club. As for Ushieta itself, I know that it also had translation project in 2017, although said project was stopped after some months, leaving it untranslated until Studio Frisay decided to work on it. That, and it has quite good graphic for a VN that was released in 2010. Go get Ushieta if you've been waiting for it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

Obviously the VN of the Month for May 2025 is Kinsenka aka Perennial Dusk with it written by Irotoridori's writer, and obviously he can still write the dark story if the fact that Frontwing tell us to apply the patch that restore the violent content is any indication (And yes the writer has been wrote some dark stuffs even when he wrote Irotoridori no Sekai way back in 2012). There's also Hatsukoi Master Up with it another story about a group of people who want to make VN, and from what I saw at VNDB discussion is that the participants didn't like one of the heroine because of what she did, although in the end it's just the warm-up for the upcoming Amakano 3 in which it'll be released at the same day as Yuzusoft's Lemonade Jam. For Clover Reset, no much to say other than it has nice arts and it's more like CGDCT even though it's labelled as GL VN, and it probably could be a bit longer seeing the developer set another couple. That's all for what I can comment in regard of May 2025 releases.

For this week title since we had Yoru ga Kuru released with the story resemble Persona 3 and Alicesoft add Remaster label, I decided to add the word 'Reload' in the English title of it (Square of the Moon), even though Alicesoft didn't do much improvement on Yoru ga Kuru compared to what Atlus did on Persona 3. Anyway, compared to the last week we have fewer release, so it's pretty obvious that this week is a breather one. That said, there's still some interesting announcements, such as Nekopara 5 new exact release date and Tsukikana translation progress, so at least there's something worth to note. Overall this week is an average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. As for the release in this week, it's Pussylimpics from Cherry Kiss in which once again telling a story about a creepy sports physician who spent his time at job to take the picture at the big breasted female athletes until one day he was approached by the tennis player who tell the MC to make her rivals as his sex slaves, so that the tennis player can become number one athlete. Unfortunately for the tennis player, the MC was too eager to do his job with he eventually also make the tennis player as one of of his sex slave. Go get Pussylimpics if you're in a mood for a nukige, and have fun. Sekai had several updates at this week, although the most notable one is in regard of Nekopara 5 exact release date with they'll release it on 13th later. That said, it's more like it was released by the developer in DLSite with the English language support, because the review process by Steam is still not done yet so Sekai need to wait before they can release it on Steam (Or if they can release it on there or not). For their other updates, they currently waiting for the build of Dra-Con Cafe in order to insert the fully translated text, and also they already finished the editing work for A Maiden's Serenade with they currently do the programming work for it. From fan translation, we have Ushieta's translator say that he'll release the full patch of it on 13th later (Let's see if he can release the translation patch at that date later), and Majikoi A Plus Disk is at 15.42% edited. One of Nekonyan's translator mentioned that Futamata was already starting its QA work at their Discord, which mean that it's possibly already fully or almost fully edited and perhaps may be released in this year, although we still need to wait and see here. Speaking of wait and see, Yuzusoft has another new VN, LimeLight Lemonade Jam, in which they're clearly inspired from Bocchi the Rock by making the cover heroine, Ena, as someone who is shy on top having the story revolving around the rock band. While obviously there's still no announcement in regard of English translation with the VN will be released on September 26th later, there's a very high chance that Nekonyan will localized this, and so I'll write more of it later if there's some signs appear later. Lastly, Tsukikana full translation text was already finished which is definitely very major progress, although it's still not ended yet because the team still need to do editing and QC works before releasing the full translation patch of it. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

Good for you then.

Kinsenka, Moyu. -as the Night's, Celebration- Review
littleshogun posted a blog entry in Pretty Cure on Fuwanovel
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and because we have Perennial Dusk released, I decided to make the parody of the writer's previous work (Sakura, Moyu. -as the Night's, Reincarnation-) by changing 'Sakura' into 'Kinsenka' from Perennial Dusk full title, Hanataba o Kimi ni Okurou -Kinsenka-, and 'Reincarnation' into 'Celebration', with the latter from Sakura Celebration that Nekonyan finally finished with, which is quite fitting seeing we have witch in Sakura Celebration with it the closest thing to magical girl that Sakura Moyu is know for. For this week, it's certainly very interesting with several numbers of the releases, especially with the Perennial Dusk and Sakura Celebration, and not to mention Raillore. With that done, let's see what I can write in regard of this week. For Perennial Dusk, one of the notable stuff is that it was written by Irotoridori's writer, who as we know have some intricate writing when it come to world building and characters, which he manage to prove that he still can do it. In here, we have the serial murderer, Sai, who killed several people for the sake of protecting his little sister, although he can't feeling anything because he can't feel the pain in his heart. One day, he encounter a mysterious, Benio, and Sai start to feeling the sensation of falling in love to her, and afterwards Sai live together with Benio in the world where the living and dead mingle. Note that the writer did write very dark story, which while it's not really unusual seeing both Irotoridori and Sakura Moyu story are quite dark in some parts, this time it's really noticeable so much Frontwing need to censor the disturbing contents and advice the player to use the patch to restore it. Go get Perennial Dusk if you're curious about another work from Irotoridori's writer, and have fun. Oh yes, besides Perennial Dusk release Frontwing also has the exact release date for Kanade, in which they'll release it on 12th later so you can note the date if you're waiting for it. Unfortunately the preparation for releasing Nekopara 5 is still not done yet, so once again Sekai need to delay the release yet again. We also have Clover Reset manage to be released without much problem, and once again it's a GL VN where the MC Marin got awestruck by the transfer student Shizuku with Marin make a wish to get closer by pressing a four-leaf clover into her student notebook. Go get Clover Reset if you want to read more GL VN, and have fun. From fan translation, we have Daybreak give another update on Majikoi A Plus Disk with it now is at 5.34% edited. Despite the ban from Steam, Mangagamer manage to find a way to release Raillore with they released it in their own store after a Valve reviewer reject it to be added into Steam for some reasons (Probably because it shows too much skin for them), so good for Mangagamer. In Raillore, we have the world's civilization was reverted into the middle age with the people have the superpower called Dunamis. One day, there was a surge of the people gaining the superpower different from the known Dunamis called Errors, and so the task to handle the incident that may be caused by the Errors fell into the MCs group (Yes, we have two MCs just like in Sorcery Joker) who is the part of the security force. Note this is another 3rdEye VN, which mean it'll have battle with this time they tried to not using the narration to depict the battle, although it depend to each of their own to think whether it's the improvement or not. Go get Raillore if you've been waiting for it, and have fun. Kagura Games released Yoru ga Kuru with it is Alicesoft VN released in 2021, and people said the story resemble Persona 3 with the story involving moon. For the story, we have a town where it has another moon suddenly appearing, with another moon appearance signalize the beginning where the town terrorized by the monster in the night. One day, our MC Ryou suddenly encounter a monster in the night with he was saved by a girl. A day after, Ryou saw the girl again with she introduce herself as Izumi, and then she invite Ryou to join her club which was made to fight the creature. Obviously Alicesoft here remade the game in light of Persona 3 Reload, although Alicesoft only add standard improvement feature (ie double experience) which is more than enough. Go get the VN if you want to play an old Alicesoft VN, and have fun. We also have DesperaDrops Steam release, so feel free to get it if you want to play it on PC or Steam Deck. Lastly, we have Nekonyan finally manage to release Sakura Celebration after a delay for eight months in order to fixing the bugs and more importantly after Sol Press was folded when they're supposed to release it. For a bit of refresher, it was announced way back in AX 2019 or six years ago. However, soon enough Sol Press find themselves they took more than they could, with the company eventually folded because their inability to pay the tax and thus the license was cancelled. Some times later, Nekonyan took over the license with they finally manage to release this after delayed for some times. History aside, in here we have the MC Kazuki came back to his hometown in Misaki city with the town was known for the sakura flowers that stay longer than usual at each 10 years with Kazuki was came back when the town celebrating the happening. While the premise is related to sakura tree, it should be noted the main focus is the magic with the four heroines along with the MC are the witches, and speaking of it I hope that Nekonyan will also localize Witch's Garden if possible. Go get Sakura Celebration if you've been waiting for it ever since Sol Press announced it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. -
Here's the third ending song of Full Moon wo Sagashite, Eternal Snow, in which it become my favorite ending of the anime. There's also another video that has the song, although it had spoilers from the anime. Anyway, enjoy the song.

UI Design – An Anatomy Of Visual Novels
littleshogun commented on Pallas_Raven's blog entry in Towards The End Sky
For UI, well basic should be enough for the ease of the players, although sometimes developer can do much with it, with one example is Tokyo Necro which Nitroplus tried to allow us feel like virtual player whenever we start the VN (Although it become quite cumbersome). Other than Tokyo Necro, there's also Purple Software which they do the floating textbox with the shortcut is half hidden at the top with the player allowed to customize it to their convenience, at least in their VN before Criminal Border such as Amatsutsumi and Aoi Tori. Besides those two examples, no much I can talk about seeing this is the basic of the VN with the UI in most VNs are usually quite similar, so that's all for what I can talk about this topic. -
Decided to add one of Ar Tonelico 2 boss theme, Exec_Sphilia, with the song was sang by the prequel's main villain. And yes, I posted it here despite that Ar Tonelico 2 entry is exist on VNDB. Enjoy.
-
For the company, I suppose they're already quietly disbanded and went back to the main company, Cuffs, or maybe Cuffs decided to not use the name anymore unless when something happen with one of its product, such as when Yosuga no Sora was abut to be released in the Steam (Chinese language only) with Cuffs listed Sphere was still listed as the developer for it. For more information on Yosuga no Sora staffs, the writer are only wrote all game made by Sphere while the director got some more works until Enki Dekinai with he got special thanks.

It's been a while since I see the last post for this thread. Anyway, what I read mostly is GL manga, although I still following Conan to a degree. What I follow weekly nowadays is Onimai (It took someone recommend the anime of this to finally convince me to read the manga because the premise is quite out there and made me drop it after several chapters) and Tis Time for Torture Princess, with both of those are episodic so it's easier to follow compared to Conan (And not to mention lighter).

Dorama of the Year 1997 - Love Generation (1997)
littleshogun commented on kivandopulus's blog entry in Dorama of the Season
For the info sometimes there are manga adaptation when it come to dorama just like Glass Mask, so I'll comment on whenever there was one. That said for Glass Mask obviously the dorama still not finished the story yet seeing the author still not resuming her work in 2025, but at least I know it adapt majority of the volume (38 out of 49) with it had second season later. That's all for what I can comment in regard of 1997 dorama here. -
Meta Fiction – Genre Deep Dive
littleshogun commented on Pallas_Raven's blog entry in Towards The End Sky
It should be noted that before DDLC Nitroplus already done the similar thing with You and Me and Her: A Love Story, although in the end Shimokura Vio (The Nitroplus writer) and Dan Salvato have different idea on where they went from the infamous twist. I do know there are much more examples for the first point, but the element in those examples are quite complicated to discuss. For the second point, arguably Umineko and Danganronpa V3 can count. In those case though it's note really joke like Lamunation or Royale, but instead it's where the writer can be pretty much perceived as someone who lashed out towards its customer base, and of course most of the players were very reactive at that with it cause no small controversy. For the last point, I don't remember much VN limit the player's progression, but I do remember there's a review of Love Plus which mention some eccentric feature with one of those that you must say 'I love you' to the DS had you decided to leave the game causing it to become locked with the only way to unlocked it by saying that, which in turn it made the VN more like pet simulator only with the heroine. I don't know if Love Plus count toward the example of meta fiction, but at least it's the VN that I know limit the player's progression. That's all for what I can write in regard of this topic. -
Welcome to the VNTS Review for this week. For the title because we have Putrika released with the opening has focus on the jewel, I made the reference of Cabbage Soft's Jewelry series with I add 'Lights' from Perennial Dusk's writer previous work (Irotoridori no Hikari with 'Hikari' mean light) and 'Aria' from Iwakura Aria, so we have 'Jewelry Light Aria'. For this week, the most obvious thing is that it was very active compared to the last week with several releases along with the publishers announced the exact release date for several titles, and more importantly there are several updates from fan translation section for better or worse. Overall, this week is definitely an interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. First of all, I should address the news that we know was happened, namely Sakura no Uta translation project was stopped because the team was told by the developer to do so. While it's too bad seeing it's one of well received VN with it currently has sizeable progress, the developer has the right to do so, like it or not. Besides, nowadays there's a number of VNs available in English anyway, including some with the past problematic translation projects such as Hatsusaku or Mahoyo, so if I may be frank I didn't feel the loss too much. That said, had it happen nine years ago I probably reacted more strongly. In the end, I just hope that the C&D may resulted with Sakura no Uta getting the official release even though the chance for it seems to be quite low if not miniscule or nothing. Dramatic Create released Nie no Machi fandisc, and I only know Nie no Machi is BL VN with the MC manage to date one of handsome heroes after being stranded into another world that is full of death. Feel free to get the fandisc if you played the original Nie no Machi and want to see more of it, and have fun. We also have dramatic GL VN Iwakura Aria release date was changed from August 18th to August 14th, and well at least you can get it quicker even though it's only four days earlier. Sekai need to delay Nekopara 5 to 30th later because of some approval problem (Most likely from Steam reviewer), and turned out they already have sizeable progress from their Anime Central announcements (Nekonin exHeart Spin fandisc is already fully translated and edited while Dra-Con Cafe is already fully translated). After delayed for some times because of the engine work, Nekonyan finally have the exact release date for Sakura Celebration, and it'll be on 30th later so you can note the date if you've been waiting for it ever since Sol Press announced it. Oh yes, we have Kawaiinium promote Tayutama 18+ patch, so we got the confirmation that the 18+ patch is official. For fan translation, obviously there are some more updates beside the cancellation Sakura no Uta translation project. First, we have Daybreak give surprising update for Majikoi A Plus Disk with it now was at 43.14% translated along with 3.44% edited. We also have a fan translate a nukige called Sneaky Link Seduced by my Girlfriend’s Best Friend which telling us the story about the horny MC Yukito who has his childhood become his girlfriend, although he was at the crossroad where his girlfriend's best friend using her body to seduce him, so Yukito being horny was become indecisive before he decided to do some bold thing. Well, at least I can say the art is not too bad if you're not the fan of the story where the MC has affair with another woman while he is in relationship. For the last fan translation update, we have two updates from Shinzou with Dekinai is at 20% edited and Sousaku Kanojo is halfway edited. That's all for the fan translation updates. Last but not the least, we have Putrika 1st Cut released in which is pretty much new Uguisu Kagura VN even though they used doujin name in order to save some cost or something like that. In Putrika, we have a girl, Lazriel, find herself with an amnesia has an encounter with the demon boy, Remi. Soon, Lazriel find herself has a dream with she was called Ilsa in the dream with she very devoted to an Archangel, which would eventually led into the tragedy. Uguisu Kagura here obviously still has some knack to write the dramatic story, with the voice acting direction can rival Lupercalia. Note that it's called 1st Cut, so obviously Uguisu Kagura still has more story to tell, with the most recent update is that they're almost finished with the 2nd Cut. Go get Putrika if you want first officially translated Uguisu Kagura VN, and have fun. Also there are some other secret projects from Kagami Games with some have sizeable progress, so I'll look forward to when they announce those. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

SAYONARA WO OSHIETE UNEDITED ENG PATCH
littleshogun replied to SAISAI123's topic in Fan Translation Discussion
I briefly search the released patch for Sayooshi, but no luck. That said, you can probably search for the pre-patched version of Sayooshi so you didn't need to worry on how to apply the patch, and if you manage to find it then have fun.
