littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Sakura Cherubim Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title since we have Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates released along with Sakura Succubus 5 release (Good to see that Winged Cloud still be able to milk Sakura Succubus I suppose) I changed 'Succubus' into 'Cherubim' so we have 'Sakura Cherubim' for the title (The reason is because we have Cherubim as the part of the setting in Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates). As for this week, initially I thought that this would be a plain one although a certain today announcement did at least has some interesting circumstances behind it, so I suppose this week here is overall quite an average one. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review.
Sekai did release Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates, and what I can say is that it's created by the former Eushully staffs with the art drawn by Eushully former artist. The premise is very simple in which the MC met up with the group of half-angel half-beast girl called Cherubim, and the MC did accompany the Cherubim with the MC will have romance with the Cherubim. Yeah this is more or less like Nekopara and the like, although the VN here is actually adapted the doujin manga. Also judging from the number of the heroines and the fact that it has 'Volume 1' word, it's pretty obvious that there'll be a plan to develop two more VNs to allow the MC to have romance with all of three heroines. Go get the VN if you want to play a serial moege VN with the art that resemble Eushully's VN (By the way the first volume heroine here resembled Kuna from Amayui Labyrinth Meister), and have fun.
Aniplex planned to released Mahoyo on Switch and PS4, in which it's normal if Aniplex want to distribute it seeing that they did broadcast Fate Stay Night DEEN version in Indonesia way back at 2007 through Animax (Both Aniplex and Animax are under Sony). More importantly the plan is to add the English language support in the release later, so effectively it mean that Type-Moon decided to allow Mahoyo to be localized. While it looks surprising at the first glance, actually it make sense to a degree seeing that we also have Melty Blood in which it's Type Moon game was localized. Obviously though it mean that the release will be overlapped with the fan translation of PC version, and actually the console version here would be superior one seeing that it has voice as well. In case you want to get it, it'll be available at December later so you can note the month if you have either Switch or PS4.
Love Lab will localize a VN with the maid that has localized title 'Maid for Loving You', and it's still unknown whether it's one of their two secret project or not. If anything else, at least I know that it has maid heroine and it'll be a short length VN. We also have a fan translation group with the goal to translate Ruitomo, and as we know Ruitomo is another VN from Akatsuki Work (Hello Lady and Comyu developer for the reminder) with the MC being a trap thanks to the curse. From there our MC will find several other cursed people who share similar situation with the MC, and they'll stick together as the group. I'll keep my eyes on the project, and good luck to the translator of it. For the progress we have it at 5.34% translated with common route was at 23.54% translated.
For the rest of fan translation updates at this week, we have Senmomo was at 46.98% edited with Chapter 3 was at 49.53% edited, Harugi was at 60% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 95% edited, Chicchakunai Mon was at 91% translated, Yoshitsune's route of Majikoi A-5 has 26 script files worked on, Eustia was at 95.34% in programming with Licia's chapter was past three quarter (75.23%) in programming, and 38 out of 141 script files of Mizuha's route in Ginharu was translated with the translator finished translated the middle school arc of Mizuha's route (For the reminder each of Ginharu routes are divided into three arc (Middle school arc, high school arc, and college arc)). Lastly we have the team behind Aojashin uncensoring project reveal that they decided to continuing on translating the rest of the sex scenes, and currently they translate two more sex scenes from the second case so at least it may be possible to see all the sex scenes in Aojashin translated.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Temptation of Stormy Sword Deity Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review and sorry for being very late here. As for the title since we have Onee-chan no Yuuwaku (Translated as Temptation of Older Sister) released I decided to make VA parody in regard of the VA (Momoi Ichigo), so we have 'Temptation of Stormy Sword Deity' as this week review title and for the info Stormy Sword Deity is the title for corrupted Tyrca of Venus Blood Frontier (Tyrca here has two different titles for her two different forms, and I chose her title for her corrupted form because it fit more with the word temptation) with Tyrca herself voiced by Momoi Ichigo as well. As for this week while release wise there's no much interesting thing, at least there're several interesting announcements. Overall this week is an average one even with some of the released title have interesting circumstances, and let's see what I can write about this week here.
Love Lab did add one more secret project with the new project was at 10% translated while at the same time they also have their first secret project was at halfway translated. Turned out that my guess is right that the one who work on Jack Jeanne is Aksys, and they'll release it in the next year (ie 2023). Cherry Kiss announced another nukige with NTR, and it'll be released at 15th later. Finally we have Degica released 12th chapter of Yumemi Dreamers, and with this it mean that we have all part of Yumemi Dreamers released. If you want to read very usual magical girl that Kogado here did make it like Precure (It got the story where the mascot was cased by the cadres of the evil organization and then hand over the power to the chosen girl, although in here you'll play as the male best friend of the chosen girl), then go get it and have fun. Note that it also has rhythm and RPG gameplay, although from what I can see the latter is quite simple while for the former it's like Symphonic Rain (Same developer).
Mangagamer did release Seventh Lair, and what I know is that it has Fata Morgana characters with different story in which I can only say that it's quite awkward (Granted that turned out it's April Fool release, so the awkwardness might be intentional). Other than that so far the reception of this is less favorable compared to Fata Morgana, but if you just want to see Fata Morgana casts in the new story then you can get Seventh Lair and have fun. Mangagamer announced their next release, and it's Uchi no Imouto that they'll release at 28th later. Speaking of release date Sekai announced that they'll release Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates first volume at Friday (8th) later, and perhaps you can try it later if you like Eushully's drawing seeing that the artist did work on several Eushully VNs in the past.
This week we have quite a number of fan translation updates, and in fact we also have Onee-chan no Yuuwaku released. But before going into it, let me make some roundup in regard of the updates. For the roundup we have Houkago Cinderella was at 40.52% translated, Chaos Head Noah was at 29.31% for both of TLC and editing progress, Ciel's route Day 13 of Tsukihime Remake was at 44% translated, Eustia was at 95.19% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 74.43% in programming, Taimanin Kurenai was at 90% edited, Shigure's route of Snow was at about 70% translated with the VN was overall at 96% translated, 2 out of 37 script files for Tsukikana's common route was translated, and Senmomo was at 45.02% edited with Chapter 3 was at 38.25% edited.
As for Onee-chan no Yuuwaku, I did remember that it has Indonesian translation so this is the second VN that has English translation after the Indonesian translation was released, with the first one that I remember is Guilty Crown VN. The VN itself has a MC who has sister complex towards his older sister who is more or less a perfect student at his school, and luckily the older sister here is also has some brother complex so naturally they'll going to have some forbidden love between two blood related sibling. Or if you want to be blunt this is a nukige with single heroine (The elder sister) so if you want to play some blood related sibling nukige and prefer the elder one instead the younger one like Imopara, then go get the VN and have fun. Lastly we have some Ginharu progress, and this time we have 30 out of 141 script files for Mizuha's route was translated.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
PS - Forgot to mention that we have new exact release date for Doukyuusei remake, and said date will be at 15th later. There's also new Ruitomo translation project as well, and I'll try to talk about more on this at next VNTS Review.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Blend Shinigami Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title since we have Cafe Stella release and the color of the uniform did remind me of Blend S (The manga that Sol Press only manage to publish one volume of it if you need reminder along with it had the anime adaptation, and that it has cafe setting as well) I decided to parodied it so we have 'Blend Shinigami' as this week review title with 'Shinigami' is from the full title of Cafe Stella (Cafe Stella to Shinigami no Chou). For this week, well let's just say that it's a nice one with Cafe Stella release along with Daybreak Translation decided continuing Ginharu translation. Other than those two interesting news, of course we still have some updates from fan translation as well, and also Venus Blood Frontier fandisc release if you're interesting with it. Overall once again it's another interesting week thanks to the number of the releases, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
Mangagamer did release UUUltra C back at 24th, and what I can say is that it has kaiju and sentai (ie Power Ranger) parody along with that it was produced by the same company who made the well received Hashihime, so you can get it if you like BL along with have the interest in the VN from same company as Hashihime there. Degica released the 11th chapter of Yumemi Dreamer, and with this only one more chapter to be released in order to have full release of Yumemi Dreamer there. As expected Ninetails released Venus Blood Frontier fandisc on time, so if you want to get more Frontier in regard of sex scenes then go get it and have fun (Personally I prefer Savior to be translated, but I guess it's not the time yet). We also have a nukige that has some NTR element will be released at May 27th later, so you can note the release date if you interested. Just in case you waiting for Slow Damage updates, currently JAST doing the second round of QA of it.
We have Naisho no Jikan translation patch released in which it's the fan fiction of Kodomo no Jikan with the amped up the fanservice from the original work, and by that I mean it has very explicit sex scenes on the heroines that are basically still at 9 to 10 years old. You can get it in case you interested with lolicon contents (Just be responsible by not replicated the action in real life when you playing it), and have fun. For other updates we have Day 8 of Ciel's route in Tsukihime Remake was fully translated along with Day 13 was at 13% translated (How appropriate), Senmomo was at 43.37% edited with Chapter 3 was at 28.71% edited, Nursery Rhyme script insertion was 80% done, Onee-chan no Yuuwaku was almost finished the QA process, and Eustia was at 95.13% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 74.13% in programming.
As for Ginharu, while this is obviously the good news that it resumed even with I'm didn't agree with some of the translator words, he still didn't sure if he'll translate the remaining 69.38% of Yuzuki's route (It's been already at 30.62% translated before Trip quit) seeing that he didn't like little sister character route, so he decided to translate Mizuha's route first in which currently he translate 2 out of 141 script files. I'll keep the progress like this instead of changing it into percentage, because tone work's VNs has different number of lines in each of script files and changing it into percentage won't necessarily reflect the real progress of Mizuha's route translation. The translator says that he'll finish within this year in regard of Mizuha's route, although it's still just estimation so don't expect much of it. Anyway the blog post in regard of it if you want to read more in detail.
Unfortunately we have Clover Days was banned by Steam (I guess it explain on why there's no Alcot VN on Steam), so obviously it mean more setback to Nekonyan to finally have Clover Days released which frankly is quite suck. Here's hoping that they'll find a way to get around it, and this is like HGB in that the VN was also rejected before the release. Anyway let's go with Cafe Stella release, in which the people already guess that it'll be localized seeing that Yuzusoft going all the way to provide the English caption in their 4-koma video of it and obviously no VN companies would provided English caption in their video just for fun. As for the premise, it's about out MC Kousei who met his untimely death and encounter the grim reaper (Translation Note: Shinigami mean grim reaper) which somehow led him to work in the cafe because Kousei is still not exactly safe from his grim fate. Anyway go get Cafe Stella from either Steam, Mangagamer, JAST, Fakku, or Denpasoft, and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
PS - We also have a nukige with the premise of have sex with the older sister in law released along with Sekai did announce that they'll release little sister succubus nukige at this year, and what I can say is that those two releases are not my type. Have fun though if you interested with both of those, although obviously you need to wait for the little sister succubus nukige.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Tokeijikake no Meikyuu Review
For the title, because we have Tokeijikake Daybreak part released by Sekai and that it's the second part of the trilogy like Grisaia no Meikyuu, I parodied the latter so we have 'Tokeijikake no Meikyuu' as this week VNTS Review title. Anyway welcome to this week VNTS Review and as for this week I can say it's more active compared to the last week, with three notable updates at that (The aforementioned Tokeijikake Daybreak, Nine Shinshou, and uncensored patch of Aojashin). Other than the releases, we also have quite a number of the updates from fan translation. Overall this week is an interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
I did forget to mention that Mangagamer already has the exact release date for Seventh Lair, and said date is at 31st later (I can only say that hopefully Mangagamer will increase their more interesting license in the future). We also have Yumemi Dreamer 10th chapter was released, and with this only two chapters left before finally we have the whole Yumemi Dreamer released. There's also an announcement in regard of an otome VN translation, and said VN is Jack Jeanne in which the female MC is basically reverse trap character who attend the all-boy school for acting while she need to hide her gender. No info in regard on who'll responsible for the localization process, but seeing that it's Switch VN safe to say that Aksys might be the one who will localize it later although they usually didn't translate the VN into Chinese language while the plan is to translate the VN into Chinese as well, so let's see whether it'll be true or not.
This week we have Aojashin uncensored patch like I say beforehand and you can download it from this site, although said patch is only translate the sex scenes from the first case. Still if anything else at least the sex scenes successfully inserted into Steam version, so you can play Aojashin with several sex scenes translated and hopefully someone willing to translate the rest of the sex scenes in the future. We also have Tsuki's patch of Akagoei was released, so if you've been want to play Tsuki's route in Akagoei then you can try the patch and have fun. For the other updates fan translation updates, we have Harugi was at 59% edited, Onee-chan no Yuuwaku is currently undergoing QA, Taimanin Kurenai was at 80% edited, Houkago Cinderella was at 39.09% translated, 94.2% original lines of Summer Pockets were reworked, five routes of Snow were fully translated, Day 12 of Ciel route in Tsukihime Remake was fully translated, and Senmomo was at 41.86% edited with Chapter 3 was at 19.98% edited.
We also have some updates from Sekai, although the updates is in regard of Seiiki VN with Imouto no Seiiki was fully translated and currently in editing, and they started the translation for Gakkou no Seiiki in which it's at 10% translated. For the releases, the first one is Nine Shinshou and for the premise it's more or less Nine series fandisc in which it resolved the remaining plot thread along with providing the after story for each of the heroines, so you can get it if you want to play more Nine. The second release is Tokeijikake Daybreak in which it need 51 months to finally have it released after the prequel was released, although to be fair it's because the engine of the VN is the one that was quite hard to worked on. In any case at least we finally have the second part of the trilogy being released here even though Sekai was not as fast as when they released Nine series, and here's hoping that Sekai won't take too long to finally released Morning Mist (The last part of the trilogy).
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week and I'm sorry for being late here. See you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Sea, You & Moon Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title I'll explain it at PS later. As for this week, while granted that we finally see Frontwing announce Hatsumira in English after several time tease us with the CG from said VN in their VN, overall this week is quite plain compared to the last week to me. That said, we also have Spike Chunsoft finally announced the exact release date for the remaining Science Adventure series, and for the reminder it's Chaos Head Noah which as we know was currently worked on by Committee of Zero so perhaps this could be the big news to anyone else who've been holding back to play Chaos Head. Other than the the announcements of those two VNs in which it's pretty much the biggest news at this week, we also have several updates here. Anyway let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
I did forget to mention that we have a release, although said release is from Cherry Kiss though in which obviously said release is a short nukige. Still if you're in the mood to play some nukige that has pirate theme (Well the name of said nukige is Pirate Booty and the Bukkake Buccaneer), go get the VN and have fun. As for the release date of Chaos Head Noah, it'll be at October 7th later (The source of the news) and will be released alongside Chaos Child which to say quite appropriate seeing that Noah here is the sequel of Chaos Child. While granted we already have Chaos Head translated, Noah here did add the routes so that it's more or less the polished version of Chaos Head. That said though, Spike Chunsoft only released Switch version so obviously anyone else who didn't have the console and only PC won't be able to play it, and hopefully there'll be PC version of this later on.
From fan translation we have 93.7% original lines of Summer Pockets were reworked, Harugi was at 58% edited, 86 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako was edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at three quarter edited, and Senmomo was at 39.19% edited with side stories was at 33.75% edited and Chapter 3 was at 4.53% edited. There's also some progress from a new group that has the goal to translate Tsukikana, and currently they managed to translate 1 out of 37 script files of common route (The Excel to track the progress). I don't know whether they'll be able to finish the project or not, so I guess I'll just say good luck to them. Lastly we also have an update from Walkure Romanze, in which the translator released the patch that translate Celia's route (The download link for the patch). While obviously it's still partial, at least you can use the patch to play Walkure Romanze and only interested with Celia there, so have fun if you chose to play it.
Last but not the least we finally have Frontwing announced that they'll release Hatsumira, and for the info they'll release it at this Spring along with them already setting the store page at Steam. Obviously it should be the good news seeing that Frontwing already have the plan to release it since way back at five years ago, and they keep teasing us with the image from Hatsumira at their tweet. While there's some doubt in regard of additional 18+ contents, seeing that Frontwing put it in Adult Only section (ie you need to log in to view the Store page) it should be more than possible that Frontwing will also release 18+ version as well. Anyway Hatsumira itself is more or less another isekai VN with Grisaia's writer, and seeing that isekai VN is still quite rare (Outside short length nukige) obviously I look forward to the release later on.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
PS - As for this week review since we have some progress in Summer Pockets Reflection Blue along with a small step in Tsukikana translation project, I decided to parodied one of Summer Pockets OST (Sea, You & Me) by changing 'Me' into 'Moon' (Translation note: Tsuki mean moon) so we have 'Sea, You & Moon' as this week title.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Heartvania: Symphony of the Daybreak Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review and sorry for being very late here. For the title since we have Tokimeki Memorial released and that the writer is Igarashi Koji who is known for writing Castlevania franchise, I decided to parody the most famous game of said franchise, Symphony of the Night, by changing 'Castle' into 'Heart' (From the Heartthrob at the translated title) and 'Night' into 'Daybreak' because we finally have Tokeijikake Daybreak released in near future, so we have 'Heartvania Symphony of the Daybreak' as the title. As for this week, well let's just say that it's quite interesting seeing that Sekai did give us several updates along with two new projects, although release wise there's no much compared to the last week. In the end, this week is pretty much average one and let's see what I can write about it.
Finally we have Aoi Tori fully translated, and for the info the source is from Nekonyan's Discord. That said though just because it's fully translated doesn't mean that it's almost ready for the release, seeing that there's still so much work to be done on it such as the remaining editing work, the engine work in regard of porting it to Unity, the QA, and finally setting up the store front (Including waiting for Valve's review) before finally ready for the release. Speaking of waiting for the review, turned out that Dokyuusei Remake need more time to get the review done so unfortunately Shiravune need to delay the release of it, although that said the new release date should be still at this year. We also have Yumemi Dreamer 8th chapter released, and Ninetails announced the exact release date for Frontier mini fandiscs in which it'll be at 25th later.
As for Tokimeki Memorial release, it's been released by a fan translation group. What I can say is I did remember that I show some interest with the game seeing that it's said as the most popular dating sim in the article that mention it back at 15 years ago (I forgot the detail), although nowadays I can only say that the graphic is quite outdated for an obvious reason (It's 1994 VN after all). Still if you show some interest into playing historical dating sim, go play Tokimeki Memorial at SNES emulator and have fun. For other updates from fan translation, we have both of Taimanin Kurenai and Arcueid's route of Tsukihime Remake fully translated, 93% original lines of Summer Pockets were reworked, Chaos Head Noah was at 24.27% TLC-ed along with 13.95% edited, Yoshitsune's route of Majikoi A-5 has 20 scripts worked on, Harugi was at 55% edited, and Senmomo was at 37.14% edited with side stories was at 29.34% edited.
Like I say earlier we finally have the exact release date for Daybreak (Tokeijikake second part for the reminder), and it'll be at 18th later. Let's just hope that after this Sekai won't need long time to finally released Morning Mist there (Last part of Tokeijikake trilogy). For Sekai other updates, we have both of Harvest Festa and Imouto no Seiiki was at 80% translated, and Yumeiro was at halfway translated along with 20% edited. For the first new project we have Sekai localized Usokara Hajimaru Koi no Natsu (Usonatau), and from what I can see it's GL VN that'll be released at this year along with has same staffs as Fatal Twelve, so at least I can expect some nice graphic from it. The second is Nine Shinshou in which it's unsurprisingly their secret project, and they already have it ready for the release with the exact date is the same day as Daybreak release (At 18th later). While I did say that it's more or less just the fandisc for the whole Nine series, at least it should be nice to get if one want more Nine and Tsubasu's art.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Trauma Center: New Chronicle Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Evenicle 2 release in which it has hospital as the motif I decided to parodied Trauma Center: New Blood by changing 'Blood' into 'Chronicle' because Evenicle itself is the acronym for 'Eve's Chronicle' for the reminder. As for this week itself, what I can say is that it was an active week with several companies announced the exact release date for their VNs (Including Nekonyan in which they announced Cafe Stella exact release date as expected) and of course there's many releases with the biggest one to me here is Evenicle 2. Overall I can say that this week is quite an above average one and interesting to a degree, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
The Snow translation team decided to drop Miagete restoration project, which while it's too bad I understand that it can be tedious considering that it's quite hard to figured out on how to inserting the text. Speaking about restoration project, we have new team for Aojashin sex scenes restoration and the plan is that they'll release the patch to restore the sex scene for Chapter 1 at March later along with revert the heroine setting back as high school student. For fan translation other updates, we have Harugi was at 54% edited, Senmomo was at 36.04% edited with side stories was past a quarter (25.48%) edited, 91.1% original line of Summer Pockets was reworked, Tsukihime Remake Arcueid Day 13 was halfway translated, and Taimanin Kurenai was at 95% translated. We also have some updates from Daybreak translation in which we have Tsuki's route undergoing final QA, and there's also a new project underway with one of the route was already at around 30% translated.
Aksys released Variable Barricade in which it's only available for Switch, and if you ask me the reason to get the VN if you're not a fan of otome VN then at least you can have the MC with fragile female ego (ie tsundere) that was voiced by Hatsune Miku's VA (Fujita Saki). Otherwise you may get it if you like otome VN from the very start and has been interested with this. We also have Tokyo Onmyouji release, in which at least it's available for PC so you can play this if you been interested with BL story and yet didn't have console. As expected we also have Degica released another chapter for Yumemi Dreamer, and this week we have the 7th chapter was released so with this we only have five chapters left to finally have a full VN available in English. Frontwing also released Phantom Trigger Volume 8 back at 25th (At least they didn't find the bugs in there), so you can play it if you've been waiting for all chapters of Phantom Trigger to be released and have fun.
Cherry Kiss did announce yet another nukige with the localized name Pirate Booty and the Bukkake Buccaneer and they'll release it on March 11th later. Speaking of nukige, we have JAST released Overly Qualified Ms. Mary in which it's about Ms. Mary who is really overly qualified looking from a certain point of view. We also have Mangagamer released Erovoice back at 24th, so go get the VN if you interested with it and have fun. As for Mangagamer's next release, it's Uuultra C in that they'll release it at March 24th later so you may note the date if you've been interested with BL VN from the same developer as Hashihime.
Sekai Project decided to cancel several project, in which one of those is Tenshin Ranman. Which mean that Sekai obviously won't release it in the future, although of course it would raise some question in regard on who will localize Tenshin Ranman in the future. The question is easily answered though, with Nekonyan is the most probable one when it come to localize Tenshin Ranman, and if they want to localize it obviously they'll localize the most recent release with the revamped resolution just like Dracu Riot. Speaking of Yuzusoft and Nekonyan, the latter did announce that they'll release Cafe Stella at March 25th later so you may note the date if you've been looking forward to it.
Congratulation to Alicesoft in regard of Evenicle 2 release, in which at first it was thought to be impossible seeing that Steam banned this even with Alicesoft already remove one of the sex scene which mean Alicesoft did remove it for nothing. For the premise, we have Alex who is quite a pervert who somehow gain an ability to cure the disease through his sperm that must be cum into the patient (That obviously must be cute and beautiful female), and I definitely didn't make this up. Our Alex here will be involved in fighting against an organization that has the goal to spread the disease to cause the pandemic, and he will get some help from his wives just like first Evenicle (There's still polygamy in here as well). As for the gameplay, it's still the same with first Evenicle with few differences. I admit that at first I think that the sequel is a bit unnecessary seeing that the first Evenicle is complete enough, but now I think that it's a nice addition here. Go get Evenicle 2 if you interested and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week and sorry for being late here. See you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Phantom Trigger no Rakuen Vol. 2 Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review. As for the title since we have Phantom Trigger Volume 8 will be released at 25th later I combined Phantom Trigger with the last part of Grisaia (So-called) trilogy so that we have 'Phantom Trigger no Rakuen', and since this is the second time I use the title (The first VNTS Review that use the same title) obviously I add 'Vol. 2' here. Anyway as for this week what I can say is that at least we have a number of releases compared to the last week, although obviously none was as big as Aojashin. That said at least we have several updates, such as Doukyuusei exact release date announcement to make up for rather lacking releases, so overall I can say that it's yet another average week here. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week here.
Cherry Kiss did release their NTR elf nukige, and I can only say have fun if you interested with it. We also have GL VN Secret Kiss is Sweet and Tender was released back at 17th, although unfortunately somehow there's a problem to release it on Steam (Probably on the review process) so the VN here would be console VN here. Go get the VN if you want a GL VN and have Switch, and have fun. In case you've been waiting for Koinegau otome VN, apparently there's some more work to do on it so Aksys decided to delay the release until 2023 later on. We also have artlink suddenly released SugarKiss back at 18th, so with the release we have all of Hachimitsu Soft VNs available in English (Despite the translation problem) and you can get the VN in case you want a single heroine VN. As expected, we have Degica released Chapter 6 of Yumemi Dreamer so with this we already have half of the VN is available in English because Kogado did release Yumemi Dreamer in 12 chapters.
Forgot to mention that we also have the update from Sekai, and in this week we have their secret project was at 90% in QA, Harvest Festa was at three quarter translated, and Amairo Chocolata 2 was fully edited with them currently wait for the build. Lastly we have Sekai released the trial version for Neko-mimi Sweet Housemate Volume 1, and it should be obvious that there'll be more of it in the future. The premise is more or less like usual episodic moege with the MC encounter a half angel half catgirl who one way or another live with the MC, and there'll be more of the girls that will live with the MC. I would say that this VN is quite notable, and obviously not because of the premise but rather because of the staffs with both of the artist and the writer are worked on Amayui Labyrinth Meister, in which it's explain on why the blue haired girl here is looks like Kuna from that VN. As for the release time, we'll have it released at this year later on.
For fan translation updates, we have Taimanin Kurenai was at 90% translated, Tsukihime Remake Arcueid Day 12 was fully translated with Day 13 was at 13% translated, Onee-chan no Yuuwaku was fully translated and TLC-ed, Harugi was at 52% edited, and lastly we have Tsuki's route of Akagoei was fully edited with the route was undergoing the final QA. As for Senmomo's update, this week we have it was at 34.73% edited with Chapter 2 was fully edited and side stories was at 20.91% edited. We also have Hoshiori Perfect Edition translation patch released (The thread in regard of it), in that it's translate the original Hoshiori along with the additional contents that were back ported from console version. I can't exactly say if it'll worth the trouble seeing that it has some bug in the naming the MC, but at least it should be nice to play if one want more Hoshiori (Or has been waiting until Perfect Edition fully translated).
As for the exact release date of Doukyuusei Remake that I mentioned, it'll be at March 11th later. Apparently there's some confusion in regard of the contents that were censored compared to 1992 version, although after I see a post from 4chan I would say that saying censorship is more or less quite overblown seeing that it's not as bad as Aojashin censorship seeing that it still has some sex scenes on it (And that the remake was based on 1999 version of it). That say if you agree with the statement that the remake is censored, well you can just move on from Doukyuusei remake here. Last but not the least we have several updates from Nekonyan, in which we have Mirai Radio programming was almost completed, Kirikoi FD Golden Time was at 90% translated along with 17% edited, Aoi Tori was at 99.69% translated (So close), and Cafe Stella was at 45% in QA along with it was approved by Valve so it's pretty obvious that it's Nekonyan's next release.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, The Merchant of Tenbridge Review
This week title is come from one of Shakespeare's play, The Merchant of Venice, in which I changed the word 'Venice' to 'Tenbridge' in which the latter is the place setting in Newton VN (Tenbridge University). The reason for the title is obviously because we have Laplacian did manage to release Aojashin on time and that we have Shakespeare in Aojashin (Not as the heroine, but as one of the MC). Other than Aojashin release, we also have several updates with both of Tokyo Onmyouji and Erovoice exact release date announcement. Overall I can say that this week is an average one to me (Although of course for some people this week can be a big one thanks to Aojashin's release), and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
We have Aojashin was released at 9th (One day before the promised date, so at least they do well on that matter), and as expected some didn't respond it nicely which to say is quite understandable because Laplacian decided to removed the sex scenes along with changing the setting for one of case by making the heroine is university student and thus removed Kimiyume school setting reference (The writer's way to communicate the decision did help little with the anger). That aside, it's still nice VN to play if you want a VN that has the same premise as Fata Morgana and a dark story, so you can play it if you didn't mind the lack of sex scenes and have fun. If anything else, at least there'll be several new contents that was supposed to make up for the sex scenes removal along with the music mode addition. By the way it's too bad that the project to restore the sex scenes was cancelled, but I suppose I'll just move on from this because it's not like this is the first time a well received VN got censored release overseas (Previously there're ChuSingura 46+1 and Noraneko duology).
From Mangagamer we have them announced the exact release date for Erovoice, and unlike Aojashin obviously the sex scenes of it are still intact. For anyone else who interested to get it, it'll be released at 24th later. As expected Degica did released the new chapter of Yumemi Dreamer at each Thursday, and in this week we have the fifth chapter of it was released. We also have Tokyo Onmyoji exact release date like I say above, and for the date it'll be at 25th later so you can note the release date if you want to play it. Visual Arts has a plan to release Loopers in this year (2022), and let's see if we can see it done later. Lastly we have artlink announced that they'll release SugarKiss at this month, and with this now we have all of Hachimitsu Soft VNs localized by artlink.
As usual we have some updates from fan translation. For the updates we have Harugi was at 51% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 85% translated, Chicchakunai Mon was at 90% translated, Eustia was at 94.70% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 71.84% in programming, Senmomo was at 30.38% edited with Chapter 2 was at 71.64% edited, 57 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako was edited, Yoshitsune's route of Majikoi A-5 has 10 scripts worked on, and finally we have Loverable was at both fully translated and edited with the new progress that it's been at 73.34% approved (It would be like the equivalent of QA for the info). For Tsukihime Remake update we have Arcueid Day 10 was fully translated with Day 12 was at 83% translated. Lastly we have the team who translate WA 2 announce that they'll work on WA2 FD (Mini After Story), and it'll tell the story that happened after each routes in Coda. As for the progress there's still none, but at least the translation work of it shouldn't be as long as the whole main VN seeing that it's a short length VN.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Afterschool Medusa Review
As for this week, since we have exact release date for Aojashin along with we have the translation project for Houkago Cinderella, I'd make a VA joke for Aojashin main heroine VA (Asakawa Yuu) in which as we know was voiced Medusa in Fate/Stay Night so we have 'Afterschool Medusa' as this week VNTS Review title (I know that the afterschool word here is quite ironic considering what we have in Aojashin overseas release, and for the translation note 'Houkago' mean 'Afterschool'). Welcome to this week VNTS Review and yes I decided to wrote this earlier, and as for this week what I can say is that it's slightly better compared to the last week with Aojashin release date announcement and both of JAST and Cherry Kiss announced the exact release date for their nukige. Other than those announced release dates, we also have Degica is indeed localized Yumemi Dreamer in which it's the newest VN from Kogado albeit in the unusual way. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
Laplacian did announce that they'll release Aojashin at 10th later, and let's just say that I'm still wait and see whether the extra contents are indeed really can make up for the loss of the sex scenes. If anything else, at least they make sure to announce the addition of music mode that they'd miss in the original version. For JAST newest nukige (Overly Qualified Ms. Mary), what I can say is that it's their biggest release (Well if we based it on the heroine's breast size) so perhaps you may interested with that if it's released at 23rd later. For Cherry Kiss nukige, it's localized title is 'Elf Wives Cheat to Ride my Meat' in that it should be obvious the MC will do some NTR stuffs to the elves, so if you interested with it you can wait until the release date at 18th later.
As for newest Kogado VN, it's magical girl VN with the title 'Star Melody: Yumemi Dreamer' in that it's come from the same team who developed Symphonic Rain which mean it'll have rhythm gameplay. In here we have our male MC who's his childhood friend, Yumemi, was chosen as the magical girl with the task to fight the monster that manipulate nightmare in order to eat the soul along with fighting the cadres that rule over the monsters. Anyway the unusual way to release that I mention is in regard on how Degica released the patch that add new translated chapters, and currently we have 4 out of 12 chapters translated so obviously there'll be more chapter release in the future in that it'll came up at each Thursday so I'll keep my eyes on this at each Thursday.
For fan translation, we have Harugi was at halfway edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 80% translated, Chaos Head Noah was at 11.61% edited, Senmomo was at 29.58% edited with Chapter 2 was at 64.84% edited, Tsukihime Remake Arcueid Day 10 was at 84% translated, and Meiko's route of Snow was fully translated along with the Legend route was almost done in which it bring Snow overall was at 80% translated. As for Houkago Cinderella translation project, currently it's been at one third translated with them already released the patch that cover one of the route, although it's still not edited and QC-ed yet though so it might be quite rough to read. Obviously the translator did realize it, and so he search for the editor and QC (You can look more at this blogpost). Anyway I'll try to keep my eyes on this project, so I'll just say good luck to the translator even though it's might be more than possible that Nekonyan may pick up this later.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
PS - Turned out that I did miss the progress from Slow Damage along with Love Lab secret project progress, and currently Slow Damage was already in QA (So we may get Slow Damage released in the near future) while for Love Lab secret project it was at a quarter translated. I know that I did miss White Album 2 Mini After Story translation project was started, although I'll write more of it at the next VNTS Review.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Grisaia no Somnium Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review. As for the title since we have Phantom Trigger Volume 8 Steam store was opened and the release date for Somnium 2 was already announced, I decided to combined the words from both so that we have 'Grisaia no Somnium' (ie 'The Gray-colored Dream' because 'Somnium' is the Latin word for 'Dream') as this week VNTS Review, and it should be obvious that it didn't mean that Frontwing develop yet another Grisaia in the middle of (Problematic) programming work for Sharin. For this week I can say that after last week with the number of interesting releases we finally have it calmed down with there's no much interesting thing happened in this week. Of course for some other people the news that we got at this week might be interesting to them seeing that there's still some updates happening, although in the end overall this week is rather plain one to me. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
Finally we have the Steam store for Phantom Trigger Volume 8 was opened, and yes it'll be simultaneous release with the version also has English language support. For the reminder the release date is still at February 25th, so you may note the date if one want to get the finale of Phantom Trigger that said will have triple times of text and voiced lines compared to the previous volumes. Hopefully the story would be worth of the bloated text and voiced lines, although seeing that it's the finale perhaps I should expect some actions like in Rakuen (Both has same writer after all). We also have Aojashin approved by Valve, so at least their controversial censorship didn't ended up for nothing like Evenicle 2. As for Somnium 2 (I'll call it as such instead of the official name (nirvanA Initiative)) exact release date, it'll be at June 24th later. For the reminder Somnium 2 will be available for PC and console, so you didn't need to buy the console just to play this.
From fan translation we have Harugi was at 48% edited, Shin Koihime Musou was at 53% edited, Loverable was fully edited and yet the translation was still at 99.94% translated (Yeah I know it's quite confusing), Taimanin Kurenai was at three quarter translated, Eustia was at 94.41% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 70.27% in programming, and we also have Nursery Rhyme was halfway finished with the script insertion. As for Tsukihime Remake update we have Arcueid Day 11 was fully translated with Arcueid Day 10 was at 44% translated, and we also see some updates on Ciel route with Ciel Day 7 was at 5% translated and Ciel Day 8 was at 14% translated. Lastly we have Senmomo was at past a quarter (26.66%) edited with Chapter 2 was at 40.40% edited.
That's all for this week VNTS Review and sorry if it's been quite short here. See you next week and happy Chinese New Year.
PS - Forgot to mention that Shiravune managed to resolve the problem in regard of Nope Nope Nurse, so the VN is now back at Johren and of course it's also released on Steam so you can get the VN from Steam as well. Speaking of Steam, Shiravune also released Kamiyaba on Steam so you can get that on Steam if you prefer to buy Kamiyaba from Steam.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Kurumi x Wataru Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Hello Lady released I reused the coupling in the title that I used all the way back when Hello Lady was announced by Nekonyan in 2018 (The VNTS Review in question). Obviously Wataru here is still because his VA (Okitsu Kazuyuki) is the one who voiced our Hello Lady MC Narita, while for Kurumi here is because we have Eri Sendai voiced Saku (Main heroine of Hello Lady) and as we know in Precure we have Sendai voiced one of the YPC5 duology character (Milk in which she has human form called Kurumi). Granted that Toei didn't make the crossover movie with both Wataru and Kurumi did interact in any capacity, but it shouldn't stop some fans to pair them if they want lol. Anyway as for this week I can say that it's quite exciting with a number of the releases with two of most notable one to me are Kamiyaba and the aforementioned Hello Lady. Other than the releases, we also have some updates from fan translation and Sekai along with Evenicle 2 exact release date announcement. Let's see what I can write in regard of the exciting week here.
Cherry Kiss did released their nukige, and I can only say that have fun if you interested with it along with already tried it. We also have JAST did release Kurokami in which as we know it's Minato Carnival VN with the premise of titular Kurokami tell the MC (Domaru) to hunt youkai in his stead, and Domaru also can end in a death if Kurokami find out that Domaru do even the slightest mistake. Go get Kurokami if you're in the mood to read some new Minato-soft VN, and have fun (Also it's all age VN so no sex scenes with Kurokami here). By the way after I do some research on Takahiro (The writer), turned out that he's indeed quite capable of writing something dark as we can see in both of Akame ga Kill (Almost all of the casts are dead by the end of the story) and Yuuki Yuuna (It's ending is still lighter compared to Madoka though), so it shouldn't be surprising that Takahiro can write some VNs with dark story such as Waka-sama and now Kurokami here.
Sekai did manage to release Nekogami, and turned out they release it on GOG. What I can say about Nekogami is that it's about short VN with the MC along with his sister suffer a curse because of an accident, and after I see some tag on VNDB turned out Nekogami is not as light as it looks even though it's from same developer as Kemomusu. Go get Nekogami if you interested with it, and have fun. I'm more interested with Amatsutsumi though in which perhaps we may have Sekai release it in GOG as well (Because Nekogami was also banned from Steam), and seeing that they already sent the build to Valve perhaps it mean that Amatsutsumi is already ready for the release so that we may have it in the near future. For Sekai's updates, we have Amairo Chocolata 2 was at halfway edited, Harvest Festa was at 60% translated, Yumeiro was at 40% translated along with 10% edited, and the first secret project was in QA.
As for Nope Nope Nurses Steam version, turned out that Shiravune decided to withdrew the VN from Johren thus delayed Steam version release indefinitely. I don't know when they'll manage to release it, but hopefully Shiravune can release it sometimes in the future. Almost forgot to mention that we have Mangagamer did release Genesis, and well if you want more Trinoline because it has beautiful drawing of big breast heroines have a number of sex scenes go get it from Steam and have fun. No mention on Mangagamer's next release, but perhaps it was covered by Evenicle 2 release in which Alicesoft finally manage to work on the release date at February 22nd later (The tweet in regard of it) because it'll be sold on Mangagamer later along with other stores (JAST, Fakku, Johren, Nutaku), so you may note the date if you interested with Evenicle 2 later.
For fan translation, we have Eustia's update in which based on this thread post I'll change the calling here, and in this case we have it at 94.17% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 69.03% in programming. For other updates we have Loverable was at 99.94% translated along with 99.93% edited (So close), Mahoyo was at 71.23% edited, 88.8% original lines of Summer Pockets was reworked, Taimanin Kurenai was 70% proofread, and Chicchakunai Mon was at 88.77% translated. We also have the updates for Tsukihime Remake, in which we have Ciel Day 6 was fully translated along with Arcueid Day 10 and 11 also have some progress (36% and 56% translated respectively), and lastly we have Arcueid Day 6 was already both fully TLC (Translation Check) and edited.
As for Kamiyaba here, turned out that Shiravune did manage to get this released on Steam (The store link) at 27th later. As for Kamiyaba itself, once again it's about the MC Hajime who has been bought the charm for good romance too much because he want to have the romance, and as the result he was approached by the goddess of marriage Urara who tell Hajime that his fate is unstable because of the charms. Thus Urara gave Hajime ultimatum to have lover within one year or else he'll be virgin for the rest of his live, and Urara also give Hajime three possible candidates with outlandish setting (Japan prime minister's daughter, popular idol, and great detective). Obviously Hajime journey to have romance won't be easy, but of course he'll trying to get his goal as much as possible. While you can get Steam version later, you can get Kamiyaba if you want to play this right now and have fun (It's only available in Johren as of now).
Finally after three and half year of waiting since the announcement we have Nekonyan released Hello Lady, although turned out it still has mosaic because the rightsholder for Hello Lady was changed which in turn caused the change in regard of the license therefore it would be impossible to have it released without mosaic like Nekonyan promised (The post about the matter). While Nekonyan can negotiate it so that we can have no mosaic CG, obviously it's not worth to delay the release for the sake of a certain person who only care for no mosaic CG. Anyway for the premise we have Narita who is like boobs so much that he like to grab the boobs of the female even though obviously they won't like it, although behind his love for boobs he hid his real intention in which it's related to his own quest for revenge. As for the version that Nekonyan release, I can say it's the best one because it combined all of the available materials (Main game, FD, extra story from PSV version, and extra sex scenes). Go get Hello Lady if you interested with most well received Akatsuki Work VN, and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Tantei Opera Milky Poirot Review
As for this week title, since we have Kamiyaba with one of the heroine was voiced by Sasaki Mikoi who also voiced Hercule Barton in Tantei Opera Milky Holmes franchise and that Kamiyaba has great detective heroine (Sasaki Mikoi didn't voice the detective heroine though, and for translation note 'tantei' mean 'detective'), I parodied Milky Holmes by changing 'Holmes' with 'Poirot' with Poirot here is the eponym for Hercule Barton herself (Hercule Poirot in that it's the detective in Agatha Christie works). I know that Milky Holmes is also the name of the VA unit consist of Milky Holmes main characters VAs, but Milky Holmes itself is also the eponym for Sherlock Holmes and we also have the character with Sherlock Holmes eponym (Sherlock Shellingford). For this week, with Shiravune announced aforementioned Kamiyaba along with several updates from both of fan translation and Nekonyan, I can say that it's another interesting week with less headache compared to the last week in that it also has Aojashin drama. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
Shiravune did release Nope Nope Nurse back at 14th, and I can only say have fun if you already decided to try this because you have some interest with dominant nurses (At least the character design are good looking if anything else). It's also somehow manage to be released on Steam, and the Steam version of it will be availlable at 21st later. Speaking of Steam, a certain VN from Sekai didn't manage to enter it smoothly and thus they decided to just release it at some other platform beside Steam. Said VN is not Amatsutsumi, but instead it's Nekogami in which is quite known that Valve decided to reject this on Steam (Sekai didn't announced it directly like Amatsutsumi though), and the release date will be tomorrow (The tweet in regard of that). My interest with the news is not Nekogami though, but instead Amatsutsumi in which I can see that Sekai will also release it like Nekogami here so with this hopefully it mean that we'll get Amatsutsumi in the near future.
From fan translation, we have Chicchakunai Mon was at 86.7% translated, Harugi was at 47% edited, Loverable was at 99.33% edited, and Taimanin Kurenai was at 60% proofread. For other progress, we also have Tsukihime Remake Part 1 update with Arcueid Day 9 and Day 10 Bad End was fully translated along with Ciel Day 6 was at 93% translated. We also have some update on Snow, in which currently we have elaboration on the progress for the currently in working routes with Legend route was at past halfway (52%) translated along with Meiko's route was at 68% translated. As for Nekonyan updates, we have Cafe Stella was fully translated and edited, Aoi Tori was at 95% translated along with 80% edited, Makeover FD was at 65% edited, Kirikoi FD was at 85% translated along with 15% edited, and their 3rd secret project was at three quarter edited.
Last but not the least we have Kamiyaba exact release date announcement by Shiravune, and said exact date will be at 21st later (Same date as Hello Lady release). As for Kamiyaba itself, from what I see it's about the MC (Hajime) who desperately want to experienced the romance so much that he brought a lot of charms for good romance. Said act caused Hajime approached by goddess of marriage Urara who tell Hajime that if he didn't find a love within a year then he'll be virgin for the rest of his life, and to make it worse the charms turned out caused his future to be unstable. In order to help Hajime, Urara decided to offer three heroines with the outlandish setting (Japan prime minister's daughter, popular idol, and great detective) with all of three heroines has fate meter that need to be reduced to zero in order to have Hajime become the partner for one of the heroines. As for where you can get the VN, it's only available at Johren later.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Add the Berry to My Big Marshmallow Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title I'll explain it at PS later. Anyway as for this week one of the big news is in regard of Laplacian announcements of Aojashin English release in which turned out that the writer is quite infamous in Japanese (Well the character bio in each of Laplacian's website should be in line with the writer personality), and let's just say that it caused a lot of drama in Reddit. Another one is that we finally have Nekonyan confirmed that yes they'll release Hello Lady at 21st later, and obviously this week we have two releases (Mashimaro and Dead Aegis) in which both of those are interesting on their own. Overall despite some headache inducing drama in regard of Aojashin I can say that this week is interesting, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
As for Aojashin itself, the writer is still decided to have it censored along with write some bold responses. Obviously the response didn't help the situation at all, especially when there's two censor known with one of those is in regard of removing the school element. While to be fair they need to deal with Steam which it can be random when it come to ban, the school removal here would make Aojashin new version lose the reference of first Laplacian VN (Aojashin here is supposed to make the reference across three previous Laplacian VNs). Surprisingly almost nobody asked on why the VN is not all age in the first place if the English version is more in line with author's vision, but I guess it's easy to answer by comparing it with minori. Anyway, the English version has some new features with the most important one is the music player which is missing in the original version, although as for whether the other new features can justify the loss of the sex scenes like Dies Irae we'll see.
After Mashimaro release, we have Shiravune announced femdom nukige with all of the heroines are nurses with the name Nope Nope Nurses. I can only say that you may get if if you have some dominant nurses fetish, and if you want to get it then you can wait until 14th later (Or you can wait until 21st because Shiravune here somehow manage to sell this on Steam). Speaking of nukige, we also have Cherry Kiss announced yet another nukige with the title 'Hentai Houseparty: Gyaru Gangbang', in which the MC himself is live with three gyaru heroines and then the MC will have a lot of sex with all three. In case you somehow interested with the nukige, note that it'll be released at 18th later. Love Lab here finally has a new project, although the name of the project is still not revealed yet so it's called Secret Project for now (Duh). As for the current progress of said Secret Project, we have it at 6.7% translated (Meru's tweet for the source).
From fan translation we have Senmomo was at 24.54% edited with Chapter 2 was at 22.28% edited, Loverable was at 99.66% edited, and Taimanin Kurenai was at 70% edited along with halfway in proofreading. There's also some update in regard of Tsukihime Remake Part 1, and currently the team managed to translated the 8th day. Although actually there's more than that though, because there's both route (Arcueid and Ciel) and the progress is only for Arcueid's 8th day while currently Ciel 8th day is still untranslated, so perhaps the appropriate calling here would be 'Arcueid day 6 through 8 translated'. Oh yes it also has some other progress, with day 9 and 11 Arcueid show some progress (38% and 44% respectively) along with some of Ciel's route (Fully translated for day 1, three quarter translated for day 2, and 5% translated for day 3).
As expected JAST did release Dead Aegis. As for Dead Aegis itself, first of all it's character was designed by Ueda Metawo who as we know drew some disturbing contents in Sadistic Blood so much that JAST offer a patch to give the mosaic to it. For Dead Aegis itself, it's more or less magical girl nukige that was been hyped up which make sense seeing that it's rare to see a lengthy magical girl VN (Beside Sakuramoyu). Dead Aegis here also has some interesting plot and the setting building from what I hear, namely that the higher up just using magical girl as the weapon in the space war and the only way to power them up was by having the magical girl being raped by the alien. So yeah it's obviously not a typical light magical girl series like Precure (Duh), and of course it has some disturbing sex scenes. Go get Dead Aegis if you want some magical girl nukige to play with some nice plot along with didn't mind the disturbing contents, and have fun.
Last but not the least, we have Mashimaro released by Shiravune. As for Mahimaro, the most obvious things is that the setting is far more lighthearted compared to Dead End Aegis in that the MC did try to help a patisserie that has been left out by the customers. Obviously though the task is not easy seeing that it has some competitor with bigger capital and more popular, but our MC will obviously do everything to make sure it's successful as the repayment for the owner (Kanon, also one of the heroine) who help him when the MC was starved thanks to being kicked out from his house. Go get Mashimaro from Johren if you interested with charage that has patisserie setting, and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
PS - For the title since we have Mashimaro released I decided to parodied one of vocal song from KKPC in which case it's Ichika's 1st image song, Add the Berry to My Big Love, by changing 'Love' with 'Marshmallow' (I know that 'Berry' here is a pun for 'Very'). For the info, the opening song of Mashimaro here was sang by Tsukiyono Usagi (Marmallade here is not very subtle with Sailor Moon parody) who as we know is the idol in the second Primal x Hearts, and both of Usagi and Ichika here has rabbit as their animal motif (Translation Note: Usagi mean rabbit).

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Aegis Record Review
Welcome to my first VNTS Review in 2022, and as for the title since we have Magia Record (It's spinoff anime of Madoka that was adapted from the mobile game) along with Dead Aegis I decided to parodied the former by changing 'Magia' into 'Aegis' so we have 'Aegis Record' as the title. As for this week, even though there's no release yet I can still say that this week is no less good compared to the last week, mainly thanks to both of Shiravune and Nekonyan did announce the exact release date for both of their VNs (Mashimaro and Hello Lady respectively). Other than the release announcements, we also have some updates with one of those is from JAST in which they also announced their new releases as well. Overall this week is an interesting one to a degree, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
Since 2021 was already passed, it mean that age was not manage to release Total Eclipse as promised and therefore they need to revise the release year to be at 2022 later. Obviously it mean that there'll be more waiting for anyone else who've been looking forward to it, and I have no much to say other than good luck to age in regard of polishing the VN. As for newest JAST's release, it's Takahiro's (Majikoi writer for the reminder) newest work with the name 'Feast of Kurokami-sama' with the premise a mangaka (Doumaru) that was forced to hunt youkai by the titular Kurokami-sama, and said Kurokami herself is quite whimsical in which she can punish Doumaru with death if he do some mistakes. For more info, it's already ready for the release on Steam at 21st later with the English and Chinese languages are available. Other than the release date, it should be noted that Kurokami here is all age VN so don't expect the sex scenes, and in case you interested you can try the trial that has been available on Steam.
As for fan translation update, for the first week 2022 here we have Harugi was at 45% edited, Onee-chan no Yuuwaku was at 90% translated and TLC-ed, Shin Koihime Musou was at 52% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 65% edited, Yoshitsune's route of Majikoi A-5 has 10 scripts worked on, Senmomo was at 23.67% edited with Chapter 2 was at 14.94% edited, Chaos Head Noah was at 20.92% TLC-ed, and both of Meiko's and Legend routes of Snow was already at above 30% translated (No idea whether the progress was share equally between two routes or one route has more progress compared to the other). Almost forgot to mention that Novectale decided to break the contract with Sekai in regard of Narkarma, and then they decided to develop the VN by themselves after they face several issues in the past. Good luck to Novectale there, and at least Sekai's backlog was decreased again even though it's not because of the release.
For Hello Lady exact release date, according to Steam store it'll be at 21st later. While Nekonyan here didn't directly announce the release date for 18+ version yet, it should goes without saying that Nekonyan will release that version alongside Steam version if we remember their usual pattern. Anyway in case you've been waiting for Hello Lady release, you can note the date. For the aforementioned Mashimaro (Full title Ouchi ni Kaeru made ga Mashimaro Desu with the translated title 'Marshmallow All the Ways Home'), it's Marmalade VN that was released at 2017 between Primal Heart 2 and Study Steady. In Mashimaro here we'll have the MC who basically kicked out from the house and he only manage to get a place to sleep thanks to a patisserie's owner (Kanon), and in order to repay the kindness the MC decided to do his best to reinvigorate Kanon's patisserie that has been declining thanks to the famous competitor nearby. Oh yes, as for the release date it'll be at 7th later and as usual it's only available at Johren later.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, The Winter Musha Review - Top 10 Best Rated Visual Novels Translated in 2021
I suppose we can say that 2021 here is the continuation of 2020 in that we're still in the middle of the pandemic, although there's a lot of vaccination right now. Of course, it won't stop the releases of the translated VNs, and it's nice to see that JAST is very aggressive regarding the release in 2021, so much so that it can rival both Mangagamer and Sekai for yearly release numbers. With that done, let's see which translated VNs I chose as the best-rated ones in 2021. I'm sorry if some of your favorites are not here, so you may disagree with my choice because I may be subjective. Lastly, the scores and rank can fluctuate in the future, and for the reminder, the scores are the VNDB score for each VN as of today (July 2nd, 2025).
10. Ren'ai Karichaimashita (VNDB 7.26)
If you look at Sankaku Ren'ai (developed by the same company and localized by Nekonyan), you know what to expect from Karichaimashita here. As a reminder, it's the comedy with a love triangle that's not as dramatic as White Album 2 (WA2), and we'll have it here. Karichaimashita is about our MC, Yuki, who keeps thinking about how money is the only thing that makes his little sister happy, thanks to his family's unique circumstances that forced Yuki to be the family's breadwinner. So, of course, he'll keep working for money if his sister can be happy, so much so that he calls himself having a Sister Complex. One day, Yuki saw a job advertisement for a company that allows clients to have fake relationships; the job is quite common in Japan, as shown in the infamous Kanojo Okarishimasu manga. While the job is highly suspicious, Yuki decides to apply anyway since it offers the high pay he desperately needs. Little did he know back then that he would keep involved with the clients, which in turn allowed him to start a relationship with one of the clients, and here we're going to have four and a half routes because, while technically there are five heroines, two of those heroines are the twin who's sharing Yuki.
9. Primal x Hearts (VNDB 7.35)
Shiravune released several interesting visual novels in 2021, one of those VNs being Marmalade's Primal Hearts series. While it's inevitable because we also have Study Steady (another Marmalade VN) localized by them, it's still nice to see they license the Primal Hearts series. The series features a school with two student councils and an even number of students, thus ensuring a deadlock situation every time a vote happens. The MC's role in the series is as the hope to break the deadlock because he's the 777th student, hence his Three Sevens nickname. So, both councils inevitably approach the MC to persuade him to join one of the councils to have whichever side has the MC win the future votes. While I understand that the second Primal Hearts here has received some improvements, I list the first one here because the Primal Hearts series reminds me of the Lunar series, with both Lunar and Primal Hearts developers improving their second game. So the first Primal Hearts here should make a nice parallel with the first Lunar, and I know it's quite a stretch to compare Lunar and Primal Hearts, seeing that both series have a lot of differences anyway.
8. Sugar * Style (VNDB 7.40)
Compared to other translated Smee VNs (HaremKingdom and Making Lovers) with unique MCs, Sugar Style here didn't have the MC become a king in a different world or already be working. But instead, our MC has just started his college life. For the premise, we have Kazuki (MC's default name), whose parents fled and left him with debts while also being deceived by an evil woman. So, after a string of bad luck, he turns the page by entering the college with the dormitory, which his cousin manages, only to find out that the dormitory is for females. Then Kazuki accidentally stumbles into a perverted situation. Thus, his relationship with the female residents, the heroines, has a rocky start. However, as per Smee VN, Kazuki will gradually get closer to the heroines. He'll then enter a relationship with one of the four heroines in the original version (which Nekonyan localized) and with the two additional heroines, including Kazuki's cousin, in the untranslated console version (that does not have sex scenes). Like other Smee VNs, besides obviously still having the usual comedy, it also has a mini fan disc, but we don't know if Nekonyan will localize it.
7. Dohna Dohna -Issho ni Warui Koto o Shiyou- (VNDB 7.89)
After Shiravune brought the Primal Hearts series in July 2021, we have Dohna Dohna as another exciting license released by them in October 2021. Dohna Dohna, as in the latest gameplay VN by Alicesoft, which, as we know, is attempting to localize Evenicle 2 on their own (so perhaps Shiravune will localize Evenicle 2 later), as well as having a partnership with Mangagamer to localize the Rance series. For Dohna Dohna itself, while the graphic style resembles Persona 5, the story is more similar to FF7. In the story of Dohna Dohna, it has an outlaw group that lives in a city tightly controlled by a massive corporation. The group does everything it can, including robbing the facility related to the corporation, to fight them. While we usually think that the group is in the right, in this case, we can't exactly say that the group is better than the corporation morally because we have the group kidnapping several women to sell them as prostitutes to get money. Finally, while the graphics are quite colorful, it should go without saying that the content is quite dark, especially with the already mentioned prostitute and some disturbing sex scenes in the Bad Endings.
6. Rance Quest (VNDB 7.96)
After some time of waiting (11 years for the ones who play fan translations of Sengoku Rance and 17 months for the ones who play the Mangagamer version), we finally have Rance Quest released in English. As for the story, after Rance encountered a problem in Sengoku Rance, he decided to find a way to resolve his situation. Of course, Rance being Rance, his inability to control his libido caused trouble, and he's been struck with a curse by a woman with whom he had sex. Said curse renders any woman who has sex with Rance weakened, as well as making Rance not able to have sex with weaker women, so there will be many restrictions on Rance's having sex. Facing the situation, rather than trying to find a way to remove the curse quickly, Rance decided to enjoy his life as much as possible. Of course, he'll do so by searching for many strong women so that he can have sex with them. Rance Quest is the eighth part of the Rance series that Alicesoft developed, and it's the breather episode with Rance doing a lot of quests that resemble the old RPG (hence the word "Quest"). For the video, because Rance Quest didn't have the opening, I'll use its PV video.
5. Musicus (VNDB 8.00)
When Overdrive worked on this VN, which was planned as their last VN before they went with the Virtual Youtuber stuff, they found themselves without enough funds to develop the VN. So, they did the crowdfund to get the funds, and as a result, they managed to gather 130 million yen. According to what I've seen, Musicus has been well received, with some calling it a thought-provoking VN if we borrow the late Conjueror's word, though whether that's true is up to each person. But I know for sure that in Musicus, we have Kei, who is currently in a dilemma regarding his future after encountering the difficulties of becoming a doctor like his father. Of course, as per Overdrive MC, Kei finds himself drawn to the music after watching a concert. From there, he does his best to perform in a band after being suggested by a band leader. Unlike the writer's previous Overdrive VN, which also focused on the music band (Kira Kira), in this one, the writer shows what would happen if one made a band for a living, which turned out to be quite an ordeal. Since Musicus didn't have an opening, I'll use the ending credit of Yako's route for the video below.
4. Kin'iro Loveriche (VNDB 8.18)
Kini'iro Loveriche, aka Kinkoi, is the first translated Saga Planet VN that Nekonyan localized. With that, we finally have Saga Planet VN translated, which defies people's belief that it's impossible to see it happen, especially with several failed Saga Planet VN translation projects we've had in the past (Hanasaki Work Spring, Hatsuyuki Sakura). As for Kinkoi, the premise here is that Ouro carried Princess Sylvie (her full name is too long) in Princess Carry (how appropriate), which obviously would alert her bodyguards because it made Ouro look like he had kidnapped the princess. Since Ouro himself caught Sylvie's attention, she had arranged for Ouro to attend the school with her. While the premise suggested that this is just a comedy VN with rich people as heroines, it turned out that there's more to Kinkoi than meets the eye, particularly regarding the story of one of the heroines. The VN also has a fan disc, Golden Time, with two routes for the side heroines, after stories for each heroine (including the side one), and an alternate ending for a specific heroine. Just in case you're asking if the fan disc will be licensed or not, Nekonyan has already licensed it, and so far, the translation work on it is going pretty well.
3. 9 -Nine- Yukiiro Yukihana Yukinoato (VNDB 8.58)
I said the serial release is not ideal for releasing a VN. But after I read one of the reviews about Nine, perhaps going serial here is the best way to make the writer, Kazuki Fumi, build up the story arc because not all writers can make the complete story arc from the beginning. That said, I'm still not a fan of serial release. In Episode 4, after Kakeru gets close to the other heroines, Miyako, Sora, and Haruka, in the previous episodes while investigating the incidents in the city, this time Kakeru gets close to Noa. More importantly, Kakeru finally confronts a person who's been causing the incidents after getting some help from an unexpected fellow. While there's Shinshou, aka New Episode, which is said to be the sequel to Episode 4, the New Episode is more like the fan disc than the sequel. The New Episode contents are the after stories for the heroines with some wrap-up for the story, so Episode 4 here is the grand finale for the Nine series itself. Izumi Tsubasu is still in charge of the design, so we still have her beautiful drawings. Sekai did well on this by releasing four episodes of Nine within two years, contrasting with when they needed three years to release two VN of the ReLord trilogy.
2. Soukou Akki Muramasa (VNDB 8.95)
We knew JAST got the license for Muramasa back in 2012 when one of TLWiki's users, Makoto, became the translator for JAST. JAST being JAST, we didn't see them give us many updates on Muramasa, so people decided to give up on it. At least until July 2021, when JAST abruptly announced that Muramasa would be released shortly, and with their new pace, JAST did manage to release it in August 2021. For the premise, we have an alternative world where Japan (ruled by the Rokuhara shogunate with an iron fist and has unique warriors called musha) has a roaming monster that terrorizes the country by killing many people. Enter Kageaki with his eyes set on it, and then he hunts it down. While usually, we would say that Kageaki is the hero, one should remember the arc word, "This is not a story of the heroes." So, of course, Kageaki will make many horrible decisions to achieve the goal. Since the writer, Narahara Ittetsu, did write both Hanachirasu and Muramasa, with the former having a lot of deaths, sure enough, Muramasa has tons of people dying left and right. Besides that, Narahara here also provides some writing that can be thought-provoking.
1. White Album 2 (VNDB 9.00)
I still remember in 2011 when my roommate listened to the WA2 Closing Chapter opening, and obviously, there was no translated version of it back then. The Todokanai group worked hard to translate WA2, but it took years to finish because of its length. After several years of work, they finally released the full translation patch on December 22nd of last year (2021), making it a nice early Christmas gift from them. For the premise, we have Haruki, who is searching for additional light music club members to perform at the school festival. He manages to get two girls, Setsuna and Kazusa, to participate. Haruki had no idea at the time that he would become embroiled in a dramatic love triangle that would last into his adulthood, and it would be pretty messy, given that each involved person had numerous flaws. WA2 here is Maruto Fumiaki's last VN before he moves on to write the light novel (Saekano). As I said, Maruto wrote each character like in Damekoi, but he focused more on two heroines (Setsuna and Kazusa) instead of just one like in Damekoi (Mitoko). As for the video, I used the Closing Chapter opening because the VNDB page of this used to be the page for the Closing Chapter VNDB entry.
That's all for my list of translated visual novels released in 2021. To conclude, 2021 is pretty much an exciting year, with two of the most well-received VNs (Muramasa and WA2) getting translated so we can finally play them in English. Lastly, with JAST's new strategy, which is to release the download version first to quicken the releases, I look forward to what they can do in 2022. Of course, I also look forward to what the other companies can do in 2022, especially regarding Nekonyan and Shiravune, seeing both of them manage to release several interesting visual novels in 2021.
PS - For the title, I combined the words "winter" (the WA2 season motif) and "musha" (the unique warrior in Muramasa), resulting in "The Winter Musha," which is similar to one of Captain America's films (The Winter Soldier).

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Christmas When There is No Angel Review
Merry Christmas, and as for this week VNTS Review I decided to parodied the old VN from Leaf VN with the name 'December When There is No Angel' because we have a certain well known VN from the same company by changing 'December' into 'Christmas', so we have 'Christmas When There is No Angel' as this week VNTS Review title. Anyway welcome to this week VNTS Review in which it's my last VNTS Review for 2021, and as for this week I can say that this is quite an interesting one thanks to a certain release. Of course though we also have several good news in that we finally have several VNs finally have the Steam store which is really says a lot considering that recently it's been harder to include the VNs into Steam. Overall this week is better than the last week if I may say something even with less number of releases, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
There's a new company called Rosetta with them about to released their debut VN called Secret Kiss is Sweet and Tender (The English name), and from what I can see it's the GL VN with the premise of a love story between the teacher and the student. Other than that, I know that it'll be has sex scenes seeing that the VAs use their alias instead of the true name and that it'll be released in both of Steam (ie PC) and Switch at February 17th later with Japanese and English language support. Other than the new GL VN, we have Laplacian unfortunately need to delay their Aojashin release with the new estimation that they'll release it at either January or February later, and if anything else at least the one who work on uncensored patch can have more time to uncensoring Aojashin later. Speaking of delay, turned out that we also have Tokyo Onmyouji release was delayed in that the new release month will be at February later.
There's a surprising news in regard of Shiravune's new VN, and it's not because the VN in question is Ryuusei World Actor: Bade and Dagger in which it's the fandisc/sequel of Ryuusei (In fact I did say that it's up to them to localized this). The surprising news is somehow Valve decided to accept this, which to say quite an anomaly seeing that they did reject the prequel multiple times. As for the premise, we have Ruka continuing his case from the first game with him will have relation with two more heroines, although if I may say something it's just like Akagoei 2 or Meikyuu in which the second part of the trilogy will be short and has fandisc contents, and yes I assume that Kinugasa will make Ryuusei as trilogy here. Anyway you can play the trial that has been released in the Steam store of Badge and Dagger if you want to see the continuation of first VN. While Shiravune worked hard on Dokyuusei remake so much they're already done with the translation, unfortunately it's still not enough to have it released at this year so Shiravune here did need to delay the release in order to finishing up the remaining work on Doukyuusei remake.
We also have two more VNs manage to have Steam store, and those two VNs are Hollow (Steam store page) and Hello Lady (Steam store page) in which Nekonyan need to wait until Valve did finally accept Hello Lady in Steam. As for Hollow, Ninetails already announced the release month for the steam version and it'll be at January later, so the Steam user who want to play more Venus Blood didn't need to wait for long here. We also have several updates from Mangagamer, in which we have both of Erovoice and Uchi no Imouto was in testing so it should be obvious that Mangagamer will release those two VNs first, Raillore was at 64% translated along with 60% edited, and Rance X was at 39% translated.
From fan translation, we have Harugi was at 43% edited, Loverable was at 99.27% translated along with 99.1% edited (Which mean that it's really close to finished the translation), Mahoyo was at 85.67% TLC-ed along with have some progress on the editing at 70.75% edited, Gore Screaming Show was past a quarter (27.28%) translated. We also have Tsukihime Remake Part 1 (There's two parts of the remake planned, and right now Type Moon only released one of the two parts of it) translation team released the patch that cover first five days of Arcueid's route and currently the team did worked on day 6 and 7, so if you have Switch and already thinking of playing Tsukihime Remake you can download the patch from the link here. I can only say that good for them they finally have some result on the translation work, so good luck on the translation effort for Tsukihime Remake Part 1.
Last but definitely not the least is a certain well known VN from Leaf finally has the full translation patch of it released, and it's obviously White Album 2 (WA2) with said patch has been released back at 22nd. For a bit of history, Leaf did release this in two parts, Introduction and Closing, although structure wise it's like Muv Luv so we'll have three parts of the story with Leaf put Closing and Coda (The latter is the last part of WA2) in one package. For the premise we have Haruki who get close to the popular girl Setsuna and the loner girl Kazusa, although unfortunately three of them does a lot of mistakes in regard of the romance that ultimately cost them everything, and said mistakes keep haunting them even as the three of them enter the adulthood. Go get WA2 if you're understandably been waiting for this because it's been one of the very well received VNs (The link to the patch), and have fun. Lastly since I mention Muv Luv, I'll just say that the score differences between two parts of WA2 is not as extreme as the original Muv Luv and Alternative.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and happy New Year 2022. See you next year.
PS - I know that Shiravune did release the demon lord nukige back at 24th in which it would make a nice Christmas gift from them, although to me it's been overshadowed by both of Dokyuusei Remake update and Badge and Dagger here. Well go get the nukige if you interested with it and have fun.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Slobbish Dragon Miko Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review. For this week title since we have Drapri 2 release along with three shrine maiden VNs from Shiravune, I decided to combined the English title of Drapri 2 (Slobbish Dragon Princess 2) with Japanese word for shrine maiden (Miko), so we have 'Slobbish Dragon Miko' as this week review title. As for this week while normally it should be interesting that we finally have Rewrite+ despite the bug, I just think that it's a redundant release seeing that we already have this translated since way back at 2013 despite Ixrec's infamy of (So-called) inaccurate translation. Other than a redundant big release here, we also have Valve unfortunately did reject Amatsutsumi's build along with several release announcements and releases. Overall I feel that this week is an average one despite the number of the release, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
Valve did reject Amatsutsumi's build, in which it forced Sekai to search another platform to sell the VN. What I can say is that it definitely quite an annoyance because it mean that Valve being random with their rejection here, although if one want to be fair compared to Chrono Clock Amatsutsumi here has almost twice of the sex scenes so it would be harder for Sekai to reasonably cut the sex scenes. In any case I hope that Sekai can smoothly release it on any other platform beside Steam in the near future. As for Rewrite+, while I know that the ending has some difference in the end most of those are still the same (Especially in regard of the story) so perhaps it might be not quite worth to get in case you want to replay it again, although if you want to get Sekai version then go ahead and beware that there's numerous bugs in there. Sekai also released Drapri 2 at the same date as Rewrite+ release, and no much to say other than our lazy MC suddenly got two more dragon girls to contend. If anything else at least the outfit are quite sexy, so go get Drapri 2 if you want to see some cute dragon girls and have fun.
Finally Mangagamer announce their next release, and it's Genesis (Trinoline FD for the reminder) in that they'll release it at next year (January 20th). Speaking of next year release, we also have JAST reveal that they indeed licensed Dead Aegis and that they'll release it at January 7th later. There's also a bonus if you preorder it, in that there's a prequel called Dead Aegis Gaiden that JAST released at the same time they announced the release date of the VN. As for Dead End Aegis itself, I'll tell more at the release time later. We also have Ninetails successfully Kickstarted all of Frontier fandiscs, and the gathered fund here was almost 4 million yen (ie 3,977,526 yen). Shravune did release three gameplay VN that have miko, and what I can say is that I wonder whether they'll release Natsu Kagura or not. Well you can try to play the gameplay VNs in question if you interested with more Debonosu's works, and have fun.
From fan translation, we have Eustia was at 94.10% TLC-ed with Licia's chapter was at 68.63% TLC-ed, Harugi was at 42% edited, Senmomo was at 22.84% edited with side stories has signiifcant work at 17.43% edited, 51 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako was edited, and Taimanin Kurenai was at 60% edited. We also finally have an update from Amagami, in which they already finished with synching the text and right now they created the patch while undergoing the test, which mean that it's about time to finally have Amagami translation patch to be released. Lastly we have White Album 2 translation team already finished everything and preparing the patch, and right now the patch check is already done. If anything else, we may have this released before the Christmas which is more than likely as of now.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
PS - Forgot to mention that we have Sukiuso was finally fully translated, and as for the next plan the team will began tackling the TLC before going to do the editing works and QA stuffs.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Laplacian ARC-V Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Laplacian announced that they'll release Aojashin in this month along with them already opened the Steam store for it, I decided to just parodied Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V that has the characters visiting the past Yu-Gi-Oh setting, because in Aojashin we'll see Laplacian did exactly the same thing with them have the three pairs of the MC and single heroine have the stories that were set in past Laplacian VNs (Kimiyume, Newton VN, and Mirai Radio) hence 'Laplacian ARC-V' here. As for this week, well we only have several nukige releases so release wise it's not that interesting, although at least the release announcements for the several interesting title here made up for the release, so overall it's another interesting week as well thanks to the announcements. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
This week we see the release for both of Humbling of Holy Maiden and Maid for Pleasure, with the former has the main heroine here feel guilty about the famine surrounding her country so she decided to be raped by the MC who is reincarnated from another world (So yes basically it's isekai nukige VN). While for Maid VN, it's Cherry Kiss VN in that it has the premise in that it's involved the MC who is a son of a rich person got a strict maid and somehow she was roped into baby-making session in order to keep the MC's family intact because the maid didn't know who's MC's girlfriend. Well I can only say that go get the nukige if you interested with it and have fun. Shiravune released SISTERITUAL in that it has shrine maiden and incest, and speaking of shrine maiden Shiravune announced three gameplay VNs involving shrine maiden in which all of the three is the spin off from Natsu Kagura that has been developed by Debonosu (If anything else at least it won't have sex scenes censored) with Shiravune will release those three VNs at 17th later.
Laplacian finally manage to open the Steam store for Aojashin, and once again I'll say that Laplacian here really know on how to open the can of worm by announced that the overseas version will not have the sex scenes in which it's basically what Pulltop infamously did. Granted that Laplacian promised the new scenes that supposed to be added in order to make up the censorship, but obviously people would still find that it's disagreeable. If anything else, I hope that Laplacian would add the music gallery in Aojashin censored version because I just read that apparently they forgot to add that feature in the original version. Oh yes they'll try to release it at this month, and with that the uncensored patch of it also has the update in that the translator basically wait until the release because he need to make sure on where he supposed to add the sex scenes or whether he should translate the aftermath of the sex scenes later.
From fan translation, we have Taimanin Kurenai was at 55% edited, Senmomo was at 20.24% edited with Chapter 2 was at 7.86% edited, the translator of Akagoei decided to reworked on the sex scenes, and Takae's route of Majikoi A-5 was fully translated. We also have some update in regard of Walkure Romanze with the translator fully translate Celia's route, and he already edited some of the lines of it with the detail that he did edit 9 out of 21 chapters of non-sexual chapters (He called the scenes as chapters) along with him edited one of the seven sex scenes. Lastly in regard of White Album 2 we have the translator said that he'll release translation patch within next week or the week after that at the latest, so with that we can expect the release at Christmas for the latest which to say quite fitting to a degree.
Last but not the least, we have Nekonyan did their usual monthly updates, but before going to Nekonyan updates let me write the update from Sekai first in that we'll going to have Drapi 2 released at 17th later along with them finally have Amairo Chocolata 2 fully translated and right now they started the editing work of it. For Nekonyan's updates, we have Cafe Stella was at 95% for both of translation and editing work, Kirikoi FD was at three quarter translated along with 5% edited, both of Makeover FD and the third secret project was at halfway edited, and Aoi Tori was at 90% translated along with 70% edited. Lastly after several hurdles in the past finally we have Hello Lady passed the review process from Valve, and with this they already prepared for the Steam store that will be opened at the next week. Which mean that they already got the release estimation for it, and it'll be at January's end later so you can prepare to get it if you've been waiting for it for more than three years.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.
PS - Forgot to mention that we have JAST did tease an announcement, and from what I can read at Discord along with the picture it's quite clear that it's Mahou Shoujo Dead Aegis. What I can say is that it got some disturbing sex scenes, although the main selling point of the VN (Magical girl was raped after being defeated) was surprisingly sparse despite that people look forward to it when it come to magical girl nukige like that.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, A Cake Iced in Scarlet Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Icing release along with the big update in Akaneiro I decided to combined the word from both VNs so we have 'A Cake Iced in Scarlet' as this week title (By the way the title here did resemble the Sherlock Holmes story 'A Study in Scarlet'). For more elaboration, icing here is the process to coat the cake with sugar and obviously there'll be a lot of making cake in Icing seeing that both of the MC and his wife are patissiers, while as for 'Scarlet' part here it's simply because Akane here can be translated as scarlet. Anyway as far as this week concern, while release wise we only have Icing and otome VN Ayakashimori, Sekai here did a lot of updates with their bigger name including finally announced the exact release date for Rewrite. Overall this week is an interesting one thanks to Sekai's updates, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
Like I say beforehand, we have Venus Blood Frontier fandiscs was have Kickstarter and the result is that they successfully funded it with the fund gathered was at 2,611,916 yen which is more than twice of the original goal (At 1,200,000 yen), and in case you want to fund it there's still time in that it'll be ended eight days later. We also have the estimation release time for this, and it'll be at March 2022 later which should be more than possible to fulfill after seeing both of Frontier and Hollow. For Icing we have our nameable MC Shigure who is a patissier that married his colleague Akiho, and like previous VNs from Hachimitsu Soft that were localized by artlink obviously we'll see a lot of romantic moment between the married couple even with both of them are also rival in regard of patissier skill (Not that it stop them to run a cake shop together). Go get Icing if you're in the mood to read the VN that has romance in a cake shop, and have fun.
For Ayakashimori, well no much to say other than we got the female MC want to be the member of Ayakashimori in that it's a special bureau that deal with youkai and that it's only available for Switch, so you can try it if you're an otome game fans that have Switch and have fun. Shiravune licensed two nukige with one of those was released back at 3rd (FUCKOMOTIVE) and another one will be released at 10th later (SISTERITUAL). What I know is that both VNs have two heroines each, and both has specific setting with FUCKOMOTIVE has train and SISTERITUAL has shrine along with blood related sibling sex scenes (Well it's in the title). Lastly we finally have Frontwing announced the last volume of Phantom Trigger and they announced the exact release date in which it'll be at February 25th later, although we didn't have them announce that it'll be available in English though even though it's pretty obvious that they'll also release it in English simultaneously.
From fan translation we have both of Asahi and Ouka routes of Snow were finished with the translator will be focused on translating both of Meiko and Legend routes (For the info the latter is not really the name of the girl, but rather the name of the route itself), Eustia was at 93.86% TLC-ed with Licia's chapter was at 67.35% TLC-ed, Chaos Head Noah was at 11.25% edited, Harugi was at 40% edited, 46 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako was edited, and Loverable was at 98.97% translated along with 98.64% edited. We also have Senmomo was at 18.85% edited with Chapter 2 was at 7.86% edited, and currently they're in need of a hacker. Lastly we have announcement from White Album 2 Discord that they'll release the patch in the upcoming weeks and very likely earlier before Christmas, and so we have 19 days of wait at most to finally have White Album 2 full translation patch here. That's all for the updates from fan translation section.
As for Sekai's updates, we have Akaneiro was at halfway translated, Amairo Chocolata was at 90% translated, Yumeiro was at 35% translated, and the secret project was fully edited along with them wait for the build. We also have them scheduling the release for Drapri 2 along with them finally started to work on Harukuru's engine with the current progress was at 20% (They still wait for the build though). They also finally has some updates on Tokeijikake, and that they finally have list the QA progress for both of Daybreak and Morning Mist (80% and 30% respectively) with the former was planned for the release at Q1 2022, which to say may be possible (As long as there's no additional bugs in Daybreak) seeing that they did announce that they'll release Rewrite at 17th later with the Harvest Festa release at later date (It's still at 20% edited for the info). Last but not the least, we have Amatsutsumi was in review by Valve which mean obviously it was already finished the QA along with the engine work, and hopefully the review progress can be going without much fuss so that we can have this released smoothly.
That's all for what I can say in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Venus Blood Temptation Review
As for this week title, since we have Venus Blood Hollow released back at 26th along with Kimagure Temptation release back at last week, I figure that I'll just combined the words from both title so we have 'Venus Blood Temptation' as this week VNTS Review title, which to say might be a fitting title if Ninetails want to make a new Venus Blood game sometimes in the future. Back to the topic, and as for what I can say in regard of this week it would be it wasn't as active as the last week seeing that the companies wasn't as aggressive as the last week when it come to announce new licenses and released the VNs. But still this week is not too bad here, especially when it come to Hollow release and that some companies also already announced the exact release date for the VNs. Overall this week is a good one albeit not as exciting as the last week, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
In regard of the VNs that have the exact release date were announced, what I can say is that the VNs are not as interesting as Hollow. That said, at least artlink really prove that they want to localize all of Hachimitsu Soft VNs, and the next VN that they'd localize is Icing in that I'd say would be a nice title to be localized by artlink. Also yes they already prepared the release date for this, and it'll be at December 3rd later. Almost forget to mention that the premise is still like previous Hachimitsu Soft VNs with the MC will have lovely moment with his new wife, and this time he and his wife are also the rival in patissier work. Other than Icing, we also have Cheery Kiss will released their newest nukige (Maid for Pleasure) at December 10th later, and at the same date we'll also have Humbling of a Holy Maiden released. We also have Tokyo Onmyouji release estimation was announced, and it'll be at December. Lastly just in case you still waiting for Total Eclipse update, there's a new update in which they already completed the translation and currently the editing of it was in progress.
Mangagamer finally have the updates, in which the last time they do that is way back at August if I remember right before they got busy with their Virtual Youtuber stuffs. As for the updates, there are four updates with three of those are in regard of the last week announcements, and turned out that those announcements are indeed their secret project. As for the updates, we have 11th project aka Raillore was at 61% translated along with 58% edited, 12th project aka Uuultra C was fully translated and edited, Uchi no Imouto was fully translated and edited as well, and Rance IX was fully edited along with the script insertion currently in progress.
For this week fan translation updates, we have Eustia was at 93.69% TLC-ed with Licia's chapter was at 66.43% TLC-ed (Or rather the translator just input the number into Excel spreadsheet because like I say beforehand the TLC of it was already finished), Harugi was at 39% edited, Mahoyo was at 66.32% edited, Onee-chan no Yuwaku was at 60% TLC-ed, and both of Ouka and Asahi routes of Snow were almost finished. Lastly we also have the update in regard of White Album 2 digital novel, and for the info they manage to finished one novel that was focused on Kazusa which mean that they'll finish the second novel which is focused on Setsuna. More importantly though, they'll prepare the patch if the second novel is finished so we can say that White Album 2 full translation patch here is almost close to the release.
Last but not the least, we have Ninetails released Venus Blood Hollow (Or if you prefer original name Venus Blood Hypno) back at 26th, So far I like that Ninetails manage to fulfill their promise in regard of Kickstarter very seriously without much fuss, so it should be obvious that if one want to see some Kickstarter drama Ninetails is not the one that can provide it lol. As for the premise, we have Leonhardt who have been in misfortune because his family was perished thanks to the demon, and he'll do anything to take revenge to said demon. Of course the path to that goal won't be easy seeing that the demon is more powerful than him, and obviously he'll need a lot of power. Said power is obviously manifest in form of tentacle, and from there he'll absorb the power and corrupt the powerful female using the tentacle if it mean that he'll get more power. Anyway you can play it by yourself if you want to see more of it (It's gameplay VN for the reminder), and have fun. Note that it should be goes without saying that there'll be a lot of rape using the tentacle, in that it shouldn't be too surprising if you've been playing Frontier in the past.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
PS - Ninetails just launched the Kickstarter for Venus Blood Frontier fandiscs, and as for the goal it's only at 1,200,000 yen because it's not a full length VNs like both of the main game and Hollow with 13 days left. As for the current situation, well let's just say that it's almost funded with gathered fund was already passed 1,100,000 yen.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Sultry Elves and a Chaste Orc Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review and sorry for the belated review here. As for this week title, well I just combined the words from both of Fakku and Mangagamer nukige releases so that we have 'Sultry Elves and a Chaste Orc' as this week VNTS Review, and for the reminder the English title for both of Fakku and Mangagamer releases are 'Zero Chastity: A Sultry Summer Holiday' and 'Horny Elves and a Moral Orc' respectively. Anyway what I can say in regard of this week is that it's an active one thanks to Mangagamer announce an interesting new title along with Sekai releases two of their title, so yes I can say that this week is an exciting one. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
No much updates from fan translation at this week other than we have Taimainin Kurenai was at 40% edited and Senmomo was at 16.92% edited with Chapter 1 was fully edited, although we also have an update in regard of White Album 2. The update goes like that they finished the report for the testing and the next work is that they'll finished up two side stories that was unlocked after finished the VN, although since the team find a big problem that would took more time to resolve when they attempt to work on that they decided to just make the side stories as the PDF files. After translating side stories, next they'll make the patch in which whether it'll be bug-ridden or not will determine their decision to release the patch (Let's hope that it won't be buggy there). I don't know when all of the processes will be finished, but someone did say that it might be finished at early December so let's wait and see in regard of that.
Frontwing did release Aikagi, and I can only say good for them that they still manage to release a VN even with their problematic Sharin Kickstarter. We also have Fakku released their own nukige that I mentioned earlier, although I'll just pass that. Anyway in case you interested with both of Aikagi and Zero Chastity (Or perhaps one of those), go get the VNs and have fun. We also have the news in regard of Humbling of Holy Maiden, and the news is that finally they have the English version of it was 100% complete with the current situation that they preparing for the releases, so it shouldn't be too long before finally we have it released. Lastly we also have Ninetails say at the latest Kickstarter update that they did probably need to delay the release for Hollow Steam version because Valve still not finished with the review, but seeing that the trial was accepted by Valve at least it mean that Hollow will make it on Steam, so let's wait and see here.
Mangagamer
This week Mangagamer has a big updates, and the big update in question is obviously not Horny Elves and a Moral Orc release that was released back at 18th (You can get the VN if you interested with it), but instead we have them announce three new title in which curiously none of those are their secret project. Oh yes there's no their next release announcement here following the release of Horny Elves, although I suppose Mangagamer decided to make it up with the new title announcements. Almost forgot to mention that Mangagamer still working on Higurashi Hou according to this tweet, with the translation and editing already done with the programmer was very busy so it would be a while before they work on the programming.
For the first title as expected we have the second part of Uchi trilogy released, and the title is Uchi no Imouto in which instead of his childhood friend this time we have the MC will have the romance with his little sister. I guess I can say that Moonstone here still has their little sister fetish if we look back at Imouto Paradise trilogy, and more importantly it's pretty obvious that Mangagamer will license all of Uchi trilogy so it's only a matter of time to have the third part of it to be announced by them. The second announcement is a BL VN with the name Uuultra C in that it has premise like kaiju along with robot and superhero in 70's, and other than that I know it's from the same company as Hashihime so at least I expect the BL VN here would have some interesting story to a degree seeing that Hashihime here is quite well received.
The last announcement from them is Raillore in which it's the 5th 3rdeye project, and yeah Mangagamer already throw an obvious hint toward this with 'keep an extra eye' stuffs. As for Raillore itself we have the same main characters formula like at Sorcery Jokers in that we have two MCs and two heroines for each of the MCs in Raillore, although the setting here is different in that it was set at the far future where the Earth has been changed in that it regressed to the Middle Ages civilization so obviously we'll going to have the usual isekai setting only without going to another world part (For the info most of isekai setting are based on Earth at Middle Ages). In Raillore here 3rd eye did some experiment with them removed the narration for the battle and story, and in exchange they tried to do some animation to depict the battle. Whether it work for the people or not is up to each of their own (Mod Clephas didn't like the change here), but at least I can say that the HDD size of this is quite big at 13.5 GB. Anyway I look forward to see the update in regard of this later.
Sekai Project
After three years of waiting, finally Sekai was done with ReLord 2 translation work and manage to release it back at 20th, although if I may say it's a bit too late because there's already a long gap between the release of the first part and the second part (Three years). If anything else, at least it's not as slow as Tokeijikake in that Sekai was still busy with the engine work of it until now, although ReLord here is obviously still not as fast as Nine in that it just took two year to release all four parts of it. Anyway as for ReLord 2 our MC will keep fighting the witch who took over the demon world by stripping them, and for the reminder our MC here is the demon who has fought the witches in order to retake the land that were claimed by the witches. Go get ReLord 2 if you been waiting for three years since the first ReLord or perhaps want to play more Escude VNs after Yamizome Revenger, and have fun.
Last but not the least we have Kimagure Temptation that was released by Sekai at the same date as ReLord 2. Unlike ReLord 2 in which it's the middle part of the trilogy, Kimagure here is a standalone VN so you can just play it directly, although that said it also has some connection with Nanairo. For the premise, we have our MC Haruhisha who is an onmyoji was requested to handle a mysterious murder case in an apartement. At the same time, we have our heroine Anneliese came from Japan in order to stay permanently because she like otaku culture, and then both of her and Haruhisha met with Anneliese interested with Haruhisha sex drive because Anneliese herself is a succubus. While the graphic here is promised a light hearted nukige story with succubus and all, one should remember that it's from the same company (And writer) as Nanairo and therefore there would be the same element (ie mystery) that happen in Kimagure here. Go get Kimagure if you interested with it, and have fun.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Himekishi ga Classmate Gaiden Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Yamizome Revenger released back at 5th with one of the heroines is the MC classmate who become himekishi (Literally mean Princess Knight in Japan) in order to fight the demon king who possessed the MC, I parodied the light novel with the name that literally tell the same situation (Himekishi ga Classmate) although the novel has slightly different circumstances from Yamizome hence the word Gaiden (It mean 'Side Story' in Japan, so we can treat Yamizome Revenger as side story for Himekishi ga Classmate if one want to make a crossover of those two lol). Anyway as for this week, while release wise we still have the same number like last week (Two releases) obviously our focus is on Nekonyan's updates. Other than their updates, both Frontwing and Fakku did announce the exact release date for their VNs along with several updates from fan translation. Overall I guess I can say that this week is an average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
As for the two releases that we have in this week, both of those are nukige. One of those are from Shiravune (I suppose they took a break at this month after Dohna Dohna release) in that they released the VN with the English name 'My Horny Ex-Classmate Trophy Wife's Sexual Reckoning' with the premise the MC was decided to blackmail his former female classmate who already married and has been haughty to him in the past, and from the blackmail it should be obvious that there'll be a lot of sex (Well it's nukige). Another release is from Cherry Kiss in that once again the premise is about the MC who somehow has the power to seduce the monster girls, and the MC start the journey to gather his harem of monster girl. Well go get both VNs (Or perhaps one of those) if you interested with it, and have fun. Oh yes Shiravune didn't announce the release of their nukige, so perhaps they know that there won't be much hype from their just released title.
Turned out that Frontwing need three to six months to fix the bug that they find on Sharin, and the bug is happen in the screen change function (The one that allow you to chose the screen between 4:3 and 16:9). What I can say is that it's still the same technical problem reasoning that caused Frontwing need to delay Sharin release, so nothing going to change that other than at least it should stop them to give some useless updates within three to six months. To compensate the delay in regard of Sharin, they had announced the exact release date for Aikagi in which they'll release it at 17th later. Speaking of announce release date, we also have Fakku announced Zero Chastity exact release date in which they'll release it at 16th tomorrow which if we remember the release of it was delayed thanks to the site problem that Fakku face (Well good for them that said problem was finally fixed).
I know that the translator did say that we may have White Album 2 full translation patch at this week, although after I check the Discord the other staff said that it may be not possible to have it released within this week because there still some work left (Such as applying the remaining feedback from the testing and do some more programming stuffs) before finally release the patch. What I can say is that while obviously it would be good if the patch released at this week, for now I'll just wait and see in regard of this. For the rest of fan translation updates, we have Taimanin Kurenai was at 70% translated, Mahoyo was at 85.07% TLC-ed, Harugi was at 38% edited, and Senmomo was at 15.9% edited with Chapter 1 was almost fully (93.97%) edited. Lastly we also have Kakugo Translation give the update for Sukiuso, and for the update we have the whole VN was past three quarter (78%) translated with them currently working on the last route. They also said that they'll start the editing at the next year when all of the routes are fully translated, so let's see if they can do it later.
Last but not the least, this week we have Nekonyan's updates. For the updates, we have Aoi Tori was at 85% translated along with 65% edited, Cafe Stella was at 90% translated and edited along with 20% in QA, Makeover FD was at a quarter edited, and Mirai Radio was fully edited with the engine work on it was halfway done. We also have them finally updated their second secret project after a while here, and currently it's been at 60% translated. Other than second secret project, we also have the update from the third secret project in which it's been fully translated along with 35% edited. Lastly we also have Hello Lady progress in which we finally have the engine work of it was done along with the QA progress of this was touched 70%. For Nekonyan's next release, I would say that it might be Hello Lady which sounds more than possible, although the situation obviously can be changed so let's wait and see.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Himegari Revenger Meister Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since I did mention that Yamizome's premise did remind me of Himegari way back at when it's announced in 2019 with the weakened demon king possessed the MC, I decided to parodied Himegari by changing 'Dungeon' into 'Revenger' so that we have 'Himegari Revenger Meister' as this week VNTS Review. As for this week, thanks to Yamizome release this week is not too bad here, albeit not as interesting as previous week. Other than Yamizome Revenger release, we also have Idea Factory released Cupid Parasite with a problem to say it easily, and of course we still have some updates from fan translation with the biggest update is in regard of White Album 2. Overall while I did say that this week is not too bad here, it's not quite as exciting as last two weeks so let me say that it's just slightly above average here. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week.
Idea Factory did release Cupid Parasite back at 2nd, although like I say it has some problem and the problem is not in regard that it's not available for PC. The problem in question is that according to their tweet they didn't have enough time to implement the edited text for part of Ryuki's route and Raoul's route, so they have no choice other than they release the VN as soon as possible and will fixed the problem with the patch four weeks later. Well if anything else we should appreciate their honesty, although after I see more of it the bug is more or less quite minor compared to several other releases examples that we have. As for the VN itself, well once again it's about our cupid MC who have trouble do her job of matchmaking five handsome men who've been infamously hopeless when it come to romance. Well go get Cupid Parasite if you had Switch and been interested with it, and have fun.
Ninetails did plan to do the Kickstarter for three fandiscs of Frontier, and they decided to do it at mid to late November according to this Kickstarter update so let's wait and see when it come to the goal later (I'm sure that it won't be as big as the main game because those three are just short fandiscs). Congratulation to JAST in regard of Yamizome Revenger in that I've been waiting for this ever since JAST did announce it back at AX 2019 simply because the plot remind me of several light novels that has fantasy setting. As for the premise, once again it's like Himegari in which we have a demon king defeated by five heroines that was sent by the goddess and said demon king didn't have a choice other than possessed a normal MC in order to survive. Then the demon convinced the MC to make the five heroines who conveniently attend the same school as the MC with the demon king using his own power to corrupt the heroines. Forget to mention that this is a gameplay VN, in that you'll battle the heroines and then the demon king will corrupt the heroines. Go get the VN if you interested with it, and have fun.
As for fan translation updates, this week we have Chaos Head Noah common route was fully translated and with this obviously it mean the whole Noah was fully translated therefore the team will be focusing on the TLC and editing from now on, Harugi was at 36% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 65% translated, and Senmomo was at 13.91% edited with Chapter 1 was past three quarter (82.16%) edited. We also have the update for Snow at this tweet, in which it goes like we have Asahi's route was past three quarter (76%) translated, and the first playthrough content of Ouka's route was fully translated along with the second playthrough content of her route was at 40% translated. As for the aforementioned White Album 2 updates, it's in regard on the testing status and they already finished the testing for Kazusa's true route which mean that they've finished the whole translation process for White Album 2. For the release of White Album 2 full translation patch, once again the translator did say that it'll be at November so let's see if they can really release it at this month with 22 days remaining.
That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

littleshogun got a reaction from masster_auron for a blog entry, Hustler Fantasy VII Review
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for this week title I'll explain it more at PS later. As for this week, it should be obvious that we have some nice releases here even though it's not as much as last week (At least Dohna Dohna release here is more than make up for the less number of the release). Other than the releases, we also have Sekai did announce that they took over Whirlpool newest VN license as expected along with JAST finally announced the exact release date for Yamizome Revenger. Overall even with less number of releases compared to the last week, this week is quite an exciting one and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well.
Cherry Kiss announced yet another nukige that they'll release at next week (8th) later, and the name is Stealing a Monster Girl Harem. No much to say other than it has the premise the MC somehow has the power to seduce the monster girls, so it should be a good choice in case you like a harem of monster girl there. Ninetails has a Kickstarter update with the new plan to do the Kickstarted for Venus Blood Frontier three mini fandiscs, although seeing that those are more or less only contained sex scenes I'll pass those. Good luck to Ninetails in regard of Kickstarter later, although if I may honest I would prefer them to do the Kickstart for either Ragnarok or Savior (The newest Venus Blood VN). We also finally has the new update from Love Lab Japan VN, and for the updates we have the English version of Chinkamo Twins was almost completed while at the same time they're finishing up the QA work for Humbling of a Holy Maiden.
As expected Sekai did license the most recent Whirlpool VN, and the VN in question is Animal Trail Girlish Square. From what I understand, the premise is about the MC who become the manager of his favorite indie idol group after find out the group turned out to be a beast girl from another world who also magical girls with the mission to save their own world. Oh yes Sekai already worked on this apparently alongside Whirlpool, and as for the progress currently we have this was fully translated and edited with them currently waiting for the build. For the exact release date of Yamizome Revenger, JAST did announce that they'll release it at Friday (5th) later. While granted that the release here was quite overshadowed by two big releases (Dohna Dohna and Venus Blood Hollow), I still look forward to the release seeing that I've been waiting for this ever since JAST announced this back at AX 2019.
For fan translation updates at this week, we have Senmomo was at 12.57% edited with Chapter 1 was at almost three quarter (74.28%) edited, Harugi was at 35% edited, Shin Koihime Musou was at 51% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 60% translated, and Loverable was at 97.95% edited. For the last but not the least fan translation update at this week, we finally have Setsuna's route in Coda was fully playtested and with this only Kazusa's true route that was still untested. The translator also already said that the release time is almost close, in which he said that they'll release it at this month (November), so let's see if we can see the release of White Album 2 complete translation patch at the remaining 29 days here.
Mangagamer did release Love Sweets which mean that they already have the next release, and the next release in question is Horny Elves and Moral Orc that will be released at 18th later. As for the Love Sweets itself other than the release is obviously overshadowed by Dohna Dohna release, at first Moonstone want to localize this by themselves only to be failed and of course they decided to ask Mangagamer for the help. I also find out that apparently the translation sample that they showed was quite bad, so perhaps they ask Mangagamer's help with that in mind as well. For the premise, well we have the MC who want to have the girlfriend work at the cafe where there's a lot of girl with the hope to find his girlfriend with one of the girlfriend candidate is his blood related little sister. Well go get Love Sweets in case you're in the mood for a light charage, and have fun.
For this week biggest release, it's obviously Dohna Dohna in that it's the latest Alicesoft VN. Also as we know this time we have Shiravune did release it instead of Mangagamer, so perhaps it might be possible that Alicesoft will ask Shiravune to localize Evenicle 2 later. For the premise of Dohna Dohna itself, we'll have a group of outlaw who live in a city that was ruled by a giant corporation. One of what the outlaw doing is that they'll kidnapping the girl and then selling them as prostitutes, and you'll doing that a lot if you need money because it's the only way to gain money. With that premise, it should be obvious that the VN here won't have light story despite that the graphic here are quite colorful and also it'll have some disturbing sex scenes, although obviously it won't be at the level of Clockup (Or rather it's still within what Alicesoft usually did). Go get Dohna Dohna in case you want to play some gameplay VN from Alicesoft, and have fun.
That's all for what I can write at this week, and see you next week.
PS - For the title, since we have Dohna Dohna released I parodied Final Fantasy VII because the plot of Dohna Dohna is quite similar with FF7, in that both have giant corporations as the main enemies and the main party group is the outlaw who fight against the companies along with the MC for both are the second in command of the outlaw groups instead of the leader. As for 'Hustler' part here, the reason is simply because we'll going to sell prostitutes and hustler here is the slang for prostitutes, hence 'Hustler Fantasy VII' for the title. I know that Dohna Dohna here was said to be resembled Persona 5, but it's not really similar though because the group in Persona 5 didn't have giant corporation as the main enemy, the MC is the leader of the group, and more importantly the group didn't involved in physical activities that wrecked the city such as blowing the facilities or kidnapping the girls.
