Lots of hype for xcom 2 it seems, I never even finished the first one, so I doubt I'll get the second one, the first one was good, but just unpleasant for me, probably because its the first time where I made choices that matter, and everything didn't go as planned, the damn base building.....so it was really fun, helluva fun, the combat and strategy part, but the commander part was not so much fun in my opinion. That being said, I'm currently playing sunless sea and Helldivers, I'm really getting a kick out of helldivers, top down shooter that has Friendly fire, so much fun, it would be nice to have a couple friends to play with, I remember playing the top down shooter alien swarm with friends, and it was blast.

Nothing specific comes to mind, just any games with uncensored CGs if I happen upon them, so for ex, all the mangagamer titles,I remember when I first played dengeki stryker(my first VN), and I was like: gah, those dicks look so damn ugly and weird, guess that's one downside of VN, and I cntrl through the H scenes. I will learn the basics, and when I meet a game with uncensored CG, I will apply my basic knowledge to determine if its worth the trouble to "recensor" it

Well...TBH, I don't think its worth the trouble to go through all this process just to make a few images look prettier, I thought it was going to be a easy copy +paste,and done, but it went from point A to B, and its probably going to C if i'm going to learn about how to work this extraction process. Its not like the end of the world with uncensored CG, its just they kind of bug me, so maybe I will start learning about the extraction ,or at least the basics to determine if I should go pack and unpack the files of games depending on how hard it is for each game.

Thanks for sharing that info, but what do you mean find a way, is it copy and paste or is it something more complicated like going into the files and changing the code or something like that, if its the latter, I might as well just call it quits.

Well, the reason for that is because the genitals look ugly af uncensored(my own opinion) , so it would be better if there is some way to cover it back up with the mosaic. Lots of english releases are usually uncensored when it comes to the H, and I honestly have no idea why, the censorship is because of legal stuff in japan, but as for why they would uncensor it...I'm guessing different tastes? Sum it up, I'm just curious if there is some sort of way to "recensor" the CGs, maybe like going back to the original japanese version of the game and copy the CG file over to the english version of the game or something like that.

Owari no Seraph, really nicely animated, its like the 4k res of anime, everything is just so clean and polished,not that other anime have bad animation, but it seems like the resolution is just higher for some reason. I wonder why the japanese are so obsessed with vampires and that kind of stuff...vampires...demon king, it has to be a freaking demon king, normal demons won't do it, do they just not like ghouls and lycans and other evil abominations?

Would really like a translation of dies irae, if they can manage it, its pretty well known for the complex vocabulary and jargon. Though after seeing the list there seems to be a lot of really good Vns on the lists, I'm still going for dies irae.

I decided to put witcher on hold and play Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen, I never played the xbox or playstation version of the game, but I have to say that the pc port is really well done, the combat is flawless and has no issues, unlike some other pc ports that you have to play with an xbox controller(dark souls),this game is perfectly playable with mouse and keyboard, +1 for that, the graphics are pretty good,and the fps cap for consoles have been removed, but the cinematics look just awful when you compare them with the game, don't know if that's because you can get better looks on the pc or the cinematics just have awful looks. I I had to stop playing dark souls because it was just a pain...and this looks like a really nice alternative with an easier difficulty,only 30 bucks and comes with all dlcs.

Steam is just a platform, and since most people are lazy, it is quite popular since it installs the games and sort them for you. Its useful to have it, but its not like the worlds gonna end without it,i'm actually starting to dislike steam because they are just in it for the money, but that's like 90% of the gaming industry today,but the way they try to profit off everything is kinda pissing me off,they even went as far as selling mods ,or they tried to sell them, but thankfully it didn't work.

Dude, you missed out on the dragon age games,DA:O, the first dragon age is my all time favorite game, nothing has come close to replacing it, the combat, the companions, and the classic rpg feel is just wonderful, so much delight and joy.....but then dragon age 2 came...and let me tell you, it was not as good as the first...of course games tend to be worse than their predecessors, but I still got the game because DA:O was so much fun, and after playing it, DA2 is a good game, but its just not that good of a dragon age game in terms of lore and impressiveness, if you didn't play 2, don't worry about it, you did not miss out at all, I'd even say you saved yourself some time by skipping that game. Now let's come to DA:I, the newest and latest dragon age game, I was so excited for this game because of what DA:2, and I was just praying and hoping it would be a good game like DA:O.....let me tell you, its a great game, absolutely gorgeous graphics wise, open world with a lot of items, its just a really great game, but....Its a piece of shit dragon age game....by far the worse in the series, I was playing the game for a good 10 hours before I realized, wait...I'm playing dragon age... its just awful..if they renamed the game into something like bob's new adventure, it would be a really fantastic game, since it had nothing to do with dragon age, but they had to add DA into it, kind of like how Battlefield hardline had to have battlefield or its just copying from the "battlefield" series, even though hardline is nothing like the battlefield series, they could have just named it robbers vs cops or something. Maybe I ranted a bit too long, but when your favorite game has such awful sequels...it just pisses you off, but I would highly, HIGHLY recommend you to play the original DA:O, it is just wonderful , its the jewel of the DA series, like how ME2 was the jewel of the ME series, there is an ultimate edition that comes bundled with all dlcs, since the original game came out 2009.DA:I is a great game, I would recommend you playing it, but just know that it is kiss ass from the companies to please the younger games and it will never match its predecessor.

Just finished Zetsuen no Tempest, and it was a really great show, the plot is just something unique that beats most average animes with the unique setting, action packed and keeps your attention fixed on the story, it fills you with so many questions and predictions that you would make, and it slowly unravels all the answers at a nice pace. The first half is completely intense and rapid paced, and then new arc and it slows down here with some humor, and it will crack you up and relax you after the intense first half, though the humor lasts just long enough to pick up the plot right away, and it finishes with a nice ending that you can't really complain about. 10/10 would recommend

I'm playing the original witcher, haven't played it before and I'm trying it out, and I like it alot, the graphics are amazing for a 2008 game, I also like how the people duck for cover when it rains, adds realism to the game,the combat is kind of strange since I played witcher 2 before this, and it feels alot easier since you don't have to dodge, or rather its very hard to dodge in mid combat when they surround you and you have to move at a slow pace to click on an enemy, but they make it up with this automatic evasion and parry rate, so combat is easier in general. I'm gonna beat this, the 2nd one, and move on to the third.

It was Chou Dengeki Stryker, and I'm not sure it was the best start compared to everything else that I could have picked, but it was a blast to start me off and sucked me into the VN world, It was a lovely Vn that was light hearted but action packed and kept me hooked, really grateful I found VNs since I love to read, and a book with characters talking and images and music and sound effect...what better can one hope for? I discovered VNs because of the muv luv alternative total eclipse anime and after hearing about Muv-Luv, I jumped right in, but since I had trouble installing the game and the hype for this newly discovered thing called VN, I decided to start off elsewhere and that's how I read Chou Dengeki Stryker, of course I read the Muv-Luv series immediately after that, but it was a great start nevertheless.

My current specs (new card/psu not installed): Hidden Content My rig is a bit old which is why I am upgrading it. What's most important for PSUs is the amperage they output. What's the amperage of its 12v rails, how many of them do they have? That kind of thing. 500w is a little on the low side and you might not be able to support too many components with it, especially with a card like a GTX970. The PSU was only $40 and I can still return it (it's being shipped not even here yet) and the GTX 970 was a Christmas present. The EVGA 500w 80 has 40A, IIRC, so I do believe I am good there. I'm thinking of getting a new PC because I'v made some mistakes in the past back when I didn't know computers that well( I left my cpu running without thermal paste for about half a year....I had no idea that white stuff was suppose to be on there...wiped it clean...I'm surprised my computer still runs fine, hasn't crashed more than 5 times since I bought it) The fan and liquid cooling is my main reason for a replacement, its so damn loud I can't play anything without my ears going deaf, I'v tried to install a new liquid cooler but somehow I couldn't get it to fit on there( it was a corsair and it just would not fit despite being the same one fan).How do you guys deal with the noise? I know computers tend to get noisy over the years,but mine just drives me nuts. So because of the reasons mentioned, my cpu is possibly damaged and I probably need to get a new one, my gpu is outdated for most modern and upcoming games, I can't really salvage much except the ram and hard drive(which are pretty cheap compared to what I can't salvage), so I figure its probably best to just get a new PC and I'll upgrade from there in the future, or maybe build my own, but I don't know how and that thought kind of scares me...

Dude, my build is pretty close to yours and I'm thinking of an upgrade or a new PC, its also a couple years old and can't run the latest games anymore.I probably would have gotten rainbow six if I had a better rig, I could run fallout 4 but it stutters a bit every now and then, I couldn't even play witcher 3 when it came out..., enough complains. The PSU should be fine, but I would recommend a 750w if you plan on future upgrades(which would be required as gaming rigs tend to retire every couple of years and the latest tech pops out like mushrooms)

I just bought bf4 premium edition, I'v been a fps fan for a long time, and cs go can't cut it for me anymore, though I'v never played a battlefield game before, I'm willing to try it out and hopefully its worth the long download time.

He pulled germany out of the depression, gave everyone jobs and food,but he had to use some scapegoats, if he managed to accomplish everything without killing everyone, he would probably be recognized as a hero,but at least he did some good, if he just killed people and did nothing good, then people will hate him for being a dictator. 2.i'm pretty sure that the early civilizations are not as humanitarian as you are , so your way of thinking from the modern perspective is probably wrong compared to their way of thinking, we would automatically think that slavery and inequality is wrong because it doesn't exist in our time period(its mostly gone by the time we are born,the slaves were freed,the women gained right to vote,etc), and how we are educated to think that its wrong. i'm not saying there are no humanitarians that think like you, its just that the society back then viewed it as something normal so they didn't handle it as an issue.humans fear unknown things( much more in the past, and still to this day some are still ignorant to science), so when someone proposes something new, the majority of society will reject it,the smart were treated badly because the general populace was too incompetent to understand or this new idea somehow threatened the power or revenue of a certain group(like how the Roman Catholic Church wanted to hang Copernicus because of his heliocentric theory). tl:dr ,the greeks may have done things that we view as wrong,but you can't really blame them because during their era, it was pretty normal for them to do, and probably not many people stood out to correct them,so you can't really blame them.

I wonder if there is some legit reason behind all this,since they cancelled silent hill and told Kojima to go fuck himself,they're basically digging their own graves. its good that he left,since people probably won't buy anymore Metal Gear games that's not made by Kojima.

I just finished Magi , and I would recommend this anime because its really awesome and worth the watch. Its action comedy with some elements of shounen, and its overall great, its really hard to find something packed with action that can still make you laugh without some cliche plot. The shounen isn't too strong, so there is no stupid crap like I will save everyone with the power of love and friendship, but you can still catch the idea that its there because if MC was serious, the plot would be really different. Gonna watch overlord next,there is a S2 for Magi, but I'm gonna put that away for later since I'm not in the mood for another 25 episode, i'll stick with something shorter.

I just started Kohime Musou, and surprisingly, i like it alot( so far), the talk of war and tactics and the duels between the generals are pretty good stuff,it was historically accurate for a bit, then it took a sharp turn and I have no clue what is going to happen next.The battle scenes can be a real pain if you don't know what your doing, but if you have a grip on it, you can shorten the time by half or more, it is kind of repetitive, but I guess you get used to it after a while. That sucks, probably won't read it then. Is the true route decent without too many H-scenes? Or are any routes like that? I like a good story and don't like the rest. Majikoi S is pretty good, but compared to the original, there is way too much H, and there is no true route, since the unofficial "true route" was in the original Majikoi. The game still has a lot of content within it and can entertain you for a period of time( I skipped all H scenes and still spent like 30 hours on the game).There is 2 interesting routes filled with goodies,but in general, there is not as much action or events as the original Majikoi, since the original has an event( kawakami battle or war,if I recall correctly) every main heroine route, while S has less.You should give it a try if you haven't yet.

I finished before it stopped airing but after a second watch I liked it a whole lot more. The art was butchered in the anime though. (I also like the soundtrack.) Out of curiosity, I just watched the first episode and the characters look nothing like the people from the VN,and there was a ton of filler and unneeded stuff, but then again there isn't enough material to air 12 episodes without some filler since VN has this cycle that repeats a lot of stuff. The art from the VN and the facial movements made the characters look really lively,and they butchered so much. I think I understand why the score is low for a pretty good VN, they messed up at the adaption again.

I just finished Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete, was a great read. The story starts out pretty normal, and then it takes a drastic turn and keeps you wondering what its about. There is an enforced play order that slowly unravels bits and pieces and you play through the different routes.(I started making wild predictions when I finished the first route,was a little off, but oh well).The true route ending is superb as it concludes it in a really nice way(IMO),the characters were interesting and especially Kenny, kept me entertained when I was bored and gave me quite a good laughs, BGM was quite nice,the romance is nice ,the art is of course nice, ...because its one of the more recent VNs published, there is quite a lot of repeated text, the kind where you have already read but you can't skip because its a new route, but you can control through that I guess. I don't understand why the anime adaptation has such a low score,maybe they did a really bad job.Its pretty light-hearted in general, but also has its serious moments. Going to read Aiyoku no Eustia next, I heard this one has a supposed healing effect that will heal up the scars from some of the more darker VNs. This protag happens to have voice acting , that is a nice bonus to have around.

I'v only read Muv-Luv, and it has great action,some quantum mechanics and theories , and shit romance(if there is any to be considered at all). Fate seems like its also more action based compared to normal VN,maybe there is good romance? IDK, haven't read it yet, I'v only seen the anime,so I can;t tell. I don't know much about Umineko,from what I see on the vndb page, Im guessing it is more mind games and details, probably not as much action as the above two, it will probably be more deception and tricks compared to direct confrontation( since your all in one place, you can't really start some fight without drawing much attention).No idea if there is romance at all. So based on that, I will recommend Muv-Luv because it is the only one I have read so far, It has a lot of action,the story was interesting for me, but the ending sucked.

I just finished Rokka no Yuusha, and it was a blast,first 2 or so episodes were kind of boring, but then it picked up and got me hooked,plot was really intense, and i had the right guess,but that ending just made me so mad, why the hell did they have to do that....just why... besides that, it was a pretty good battle of the wits and well done. The setting was a little mashed together...Aztec/Mayan culture mixed with magic and science,pretty unique, since its usually medieval setting with magic and science. Watching Magi Season one, I know that its going to be really good, but i'v never started it for some reason,but it saved the day when I'm out of stuff to watch
