I haven't played too many dungeon crawlers, but there have been a few games where I considered making my own maps, if only to publish it in a fan-guide. This game is basically the source of my drive to learn Japanese at the moment. Maybe once I've got some college Japanese courses under my belt I give translating it a go.

Have you ever heard of the five love languages? 5LL is an idea that says there are five basic modes of communicating love to people, and that every person "speaks" one of those languages in particular. They are: - Words of Affirmation - Acts of Service - Receiving Gifts - Quality Time - Physical Touch It's possible that your love language is Words of Affirmation. Nothing wrong with that per se. It just means that, as you've noticed, you feel a need for people to recognize and/or compliment you. As for me, I'm pretty darn sure that I'm Acts of Service. Recognition and whatnot is nice, but I don't really need it. Similarly I don't give out compliments hardly at all. Instead I find ways to do something for people.

I never got very far in the game, but I remember taking notes in 999. 'Specially for the triangle code in the very first room.

The comedian guy also tries to fallaciously shoehorn you into agreement by saying if you hate DRM you have to hate unlockable levels. That's obviously not the case, you can like your games free of restrictions and still want levels to be unlocked.

As I'm sure you know, Sekai Project has had a history of wildly successful Kickstarters, with not one that did not achieve its goal. However, their latest KS, Witch Boy Magical Piece, has seven days left on the clock and only thirty percent of its goal funded so far. Not only is it most likely going to be their first failure, but it's also going to be a pretty dismal one. Thirty percent isn't even close. They've also got it set up so that you won't be charged unless they reach one-hundred percent, so they're not even going to get the thirty they've got already. I'm curious as to why this happened to a company that's had nothing but success to date. These are the possibilities I've come up with:- The western VN community's deep pockets have reached their bottom- The western VN community isn't interested in BL (I find this one the most likely)- Everyone spent their money on the Muv Luv Kickstarter instead- The desire to support a new localization company has tapered off What do you guys suppose was the cause of this failed KS? And what sort of impact do you suppose this will have on Sekai Project and their activities? Do you think the trend will continue?
