What is your favorite type of VN heroine, and why?
Kaguya replied to Katatsumuri's topic in Visual Novel Talk
They won't start killing everyone if you don't mess up. That said, they killing everyone because the protag messed up is a fairly entertaining part of them to me. Also, the fact that the protagonist always seems oblivious to the fact that he can easily stop the yandere from killing people if he simply chooses the right words is quite curious. Also, yandere alice is cute. -
I don't think many people here want to get published, though. You can also force the editor to work, kill him after he finishes and never mention that you hired an editor to anyone. But obviously, if you're going pro you should blackmail the highest amount of people possible learn the language yourself and control everyone's minds so that they buy your books do it fair and square~

Her! I was forgetting her name. Gonna edit my post now~

So, things are quite heavy lately, aren't they? Thus I decided to make this~ Taa-daa~ The super special awesome okashii no hanashi thread~ In case you didn't get the stupid pun, it's a pun with okashi and okashii (they mean sweet and weird respectively). So, isn't it a pity that I could only think of such a pathetic joke? You're surely not letting this thread that represents the epitome of Fun in our renowned fuwanovel end up with only such a bad pun, right?! Thus, I ask for your help! Post the funniest things you can think of here!

Get an editor if you're bad with the language. I know a few that can do wonders for you~

I like almost everyone personality wise, so it'd be too long to write. Let's just pick Leguna for now. He's awesome. My team is usually like this: Mylen, Asmodeus, Will, Hannah, Elyzaslein, Serawi, Yuela, Lily and Kohakuren.

Yep, I played this a long time ago. It was reasonably fun and I rate it as a 7. something. If we're to look into comedies, I definitely recommend this.

no particular anime. I am however looking forward for a ton of visual novels. The first ones that come to mind are Little Buster EX, Fortune Arterial and Fate Hollow Ataraxia.

A vending machine brought inland by the tsunami, in an abandoned rice field in Fukushima. I felt like I had to share it with you guys~ Also, this looks absolutely delicious:
-
Oh, he made tons of threads. I think he made the Rice thread as well.

I'm a super-villain. Also, view the noodle songs. They are cool. I'll make good use of this info. Thinking of writing a noodle song myself.
-
Oh well, decent enough for a first try, though I still have much to learn.

Today, I ate some super deluxe noodles. The noodles themselves were common, but I made some tomato sauce, potatoes and I fried some beef to eat as a lunch. It was quite satisfying. I wonder why I didn't make pasta, though.

If they don't want to read lengthy discussions on the first place, I don't think we should force it on them. Also, the chatbox would be there for random member interaction- look at some threads like that "the cutest image you've seen" or even threads like "toaru majutsu no index" and you'll often see members chatting about completely unrelated things (I'm guilty of doing it multiple times, I admit) and that would help to cut the meaningless content from those threads. Also, quite a few threads are to solving completely banal issues that could and would be easily solved on a chatbox- like the typical "Read Only" error, the JP locale, etc. + Threads that deal with VN recommendation and such (even if those aren't really bothersome). Otherwise, I strongly recommend a chit-chat thread on the forums to at least cut down those things. I think it'd help to make the community more united~
-
Hmm... That's true, but I don't think the main point of having a chatbox would be to spread information, anyway. More like a way of interacting with the members. I don't really understand batman's and lewycool's ominous feelings about it, but I guess things are okay the way they are. Oh well, I still think it'd be a nice idea, though.

I never seriously wrote anything on the forums, but I do have a few publications here on Brazil (Not really books. I have some articles on some literacy journals and some poetry as well) Also won a few literary contests, though my prizes are mostly on poetry and short stories. There's the problem with vocabulary, though. Having 3/4 of the words you know suddenly taken away from you makes writing a bit more challenging. Also, if you're a total newbie to writing and want a hint, I personally disagree with Zodai. That hint works fine if you already have some knowledge of literacy, but the best way to get better when you're a total newbie is reading. No matter how much you try, if you don't have an idea on how people make stories, character development, etc. You're pretty much screwed with writing. I say this because in my country, most of the population doesn't read, even the writers. And when the time comes for they to write something, they're pretty much screwed. Writing is good, but unless you know how to do it properly you'll just repeat the same mistakes over and over. If you're having trouble with writing, leave what you're doing for later, get good books of the same genre of what you're writing and read them. Obviously, you can't copy their idea, but reading a few masterpieces of the same kind of story you're writing is usually enough to fill you with inspiration. PS: Zodai's hint is not wrong. If you already have the know-how's of writing, I'd say keep writing is the best you could do. Just, as explained, I don't think that's the best for complete newbies.

I want this chibi for myself. 8.5

So, here's another idea that I had. The forum is full of incredibly nice members, and we can see it clearly on the threads. However, I think that while we all feel that we're part of the community, the amount of talking that can be done by threads is limited. We sometimes see topics trailing off and changing completely because members are talking to each other, which by itself, shouldn't be anything wrong. There is IRC and TS, but for those you need to download the program. Also, IRC is nightmare to some people (it took me over 3 weeks to solve all of my problems with it because Brazil ) and overall, I don't think they're very user friendly. The fuwanovel community is undoubtedly awesome, but I think we'd be able to have a closer sense of union if we had somewhere to talk here on the forums. That's why I decided to suggest this; Why not make a chatbox? Personally, I think it'd make the fuwanovel community even better~

3. Though that'd be a pretty awesome birthday.
-
That's the usual. But I could still use -sama.
-
You can probably do it in post count if you work reeeeeally hard, but as my life is mostly dedicated to VNs I highly doubt you'll be able to. It would be awesome if you were able to do it though. I'd start calling you yukiru-sama and I'd be your number one fangirl~
-
3 people guessed already, huh. Meaning he has no chance of going again~ Also, atm Yukiru is exactly 500 posts behind me. I have 767, he has 267, huh.

2 because it's the only normal one.
