I don't really know. I have some problems with "users who are genuinely interested will contribute to the forums". There are a lot of members here, and trolls are quite rare. I remember only 1 or 2 of them in my whole time at fuwanovel. I think it would be better to let the highest amount of people contribute. Also, sometimes people simply dislike posting in forums. You can't say everyone's mentality is like ours, and I think that members with a lower amount of posts shouldn't be looked down on. I think it would be better to let any member post there at first. If an eventual troll appears, in that case, he can be dealt with separately. If the amount of trolls is too high, then we can limit it. Also, it doesn't need to be someone from the moderating team. Why not use my first suggestion and let everyone decide? Note that the reasons wouldn't appear at the VN per se. There would be a place that shows all of the reasons for each member, and there would be shotcuts to those reasons in the same place as your post.

That would create an hierarchy of sorts. I don't know if that's a good idea. That said, it's not like I have a better idea now. I'm thinking on something, I'll edit this post when I have it written down. EDIT: Ok, here what I was thinking. Honestly, I trust most of the users here. I don't think someone with only 10 posts shouldn't be able to take part on this. However, it is undeniable that trolls may appear. That's why I thought of before recommending a VN, you should write a reason on why it's an outstanding VN that should be read. I do realize that the members who read a high amount of VNs may suffer with this, since recommending a lot of VNs will be tough but I still think it's a good solution. I also think it would be better for the ones browsing through LOLIS- giving concrete reasons on to why a VN is good will probably make people more willing to play it. I remember that I only played Cross Channel because of a comment on to why it was a good VN, and I'm grateful for whoever wrote that, otherwise I wouldn't have played that masterpiece. Also, this is only a suggestion, but if someone writes a trollish reason, any of the members who take part on LOLIS could create something like a short pool (or maybe just decide with the other members, or talk to a moderator) and decide on to whether that reason is valid and whether that post should or shouldn't be on LOLIS. Of course, we'd have someone to carefully watch it over and look at those decisions (I'd suggest myself for that role, but I don't think I have this much trust, so it'd be better if it was someone from the moderating team, if any of them can do it.) Just a suggestion though. I don't know if it'd actually work out.

I could do it. However, for LOLIS to work it seems like more members are needed. Since if I could do it by myself it'd be better to just take my 50 VNs list. Why not just look with some other members that also read a high amount of VNs?

It doesn't usually happens to me. There were only 2 occasions out of my 200 VNs, which are Cross Channel and Steins Gate, both were awesome. It happened quite some times with animes, though. But I don't remember their names.

I can recommend some which are even smaller and are still awesome. Try Phenomeno, Dysfunctional Systems and World End Economica for now. I'll come with more suggestions later~ 3 should suffice for now. EDIT: Also, Rose Guns Days. I can't go forgetting that one~
