Most of the tear-jerkers I know have H in them. Well, try Cross Channel. It has sex scenes in it, but when you install the game (or maybe the patch, I forgot) you get the option to cut the H-scenes from the game. If it's the patch I think the game is pre-patched here though, so you may have re-install the patch or download it elsewere.

I'd read them with the japanese VA mainly because I'm not from any english-speaking country, and though I can speak it, english sounds very alien to me. You have a bunch of sounds we don't have in my language, like "y" and the way you speak the vocals is just weird. Japanese sounds more natural to me, so I can feel emotion from the character I wouldn't be able to in english.

Quite a conflict, huh? My first reaction to this was it's definitely nice that there's a new company in the market, since we'll get more releases. Cutting the H-scenes from a VN is not that rare. Even if there's no H I can still enjoy the story. However, you can't cut H-scenes if the game is based on them, or if a game has a lot of them. In those cases the H is usually quite important for the development of the story or deepening the characters relationships. Even if it helps with story development, sometimes you still can cut the H from a game- If they decided to cut the H-scenes from Kagetsu Tohya I wouldn't mind that much. However, it would definitely be catastrophic if there was no H in Alicesoft games, like any of the Rance series, for example. This game focus doesn't look like H. However, there are a lot of sex scenes in it, with a great number of H CGs, so I don't know if they should cut them. Personally, in this VN I think it's past the point where they can just brush complaints off and say: "Oh, H is not really important, so we decided to cut H-scenes in the hope of being more attractive to a new market, while still appealing to the other customers." This title is not really a smart choice if they wanted to cut the H.

It's not really a mistake, but "Play the novel" and "then watch the anime" would look better. "Play novel" seems quite weird. Nothing really bad about it.. But you said to correct you, so that's it.

I always pay close attention to them (to the point it's weird for me to play a VN without opening the backlog just to replay a line). Okabe's voice (from Steins Gate) is my favorite. I'd like to know who does it. Also, I do reconize similar voices in VNs, but I have no idea about voice actors. How to put it... I don't really care about who does it as long as the voice is good.

Welcome to the forums ^^ About VNs, I'd suggest Little Busters. It's from Key, like Clannad and Rewrite. If you like strategy or RPG I'd suggest Dainbachou or Sengoku Rance. Fate Stay Night is awesome as well.

My screen is very small, so I tend to use full screen. I really don't care about artwork either- as long as the BGM and text are fine I couldn't care less about how streched the images are.

If you do it in a waterfall, you're sure to become the best at this thing.

I've been playing VNs for some time (about 3-4 years), and I noticed I don't really know about how many VNs other people played, or even what they liked. So I thought I'd propose something like a game- You tell how many VNs have you played and than you make a list of your favorites- if you played 5 to 10 you make a top five, if it were 11-25 you make a top 10, 25-50 a top 15 (or 20 if you'd like) 50-100 a top 25, 100-200 a top 50 and if you playd more than that (which would make me surprised) a top 100. You can also tell why some VNs enter your favorites and tell what you think about some of them. The purpose is to deepen our understanding of other VN players and what they like. I think it will be nice ^^ If someone else already did something like this, sorry. When I searched for it I found nothing, but it wasn't exactly a deep search. Well, I'll begin. At least to me the sensations of finishing an anime and finishing a VN are completly different, even when they have the same quality and the same gender (I feel like using "gender" here it's kind of weird. Is there any better word to use in this situation?) Normally I just feel "Ok, it's over now huh? To the next one!" when I finish an anime, which is a bit different from the feeling of ending a VN.

It's probably locale. After you change it to japanese tell how it looks ^^
