  1. There is one challenging enemy for Ainz. The battle maids face some serious, challenging fights, though. They're all pretty weak compared to the guardians (ranging from level 40 to 60- all the guardians are level 100) so they can actually lose. They're pretty careful with the world conquering thing and it's happening because Demiurge misunderstood what Ainz wanted to do, but yeah, that's going on.
  2. She wouldn't mind it- she's somewhat keen on being the first wife, but other than that, she doesn't really have any issues with whatever he could be doing with the other girls.
  3. Alright, this is too tempting to not answer to. Last one, I swear. Games are getting more complex over time- better graphics, more money put into mechanics, etc, etc. They're complaining about paying extra for triple size, double cheese and extra bacon (while making a company seem like satan for not selling those as part of the burger for the same price). I've looked at older games- they're fucking awful. I wouldn't be able to play large titles from a few years ago, and I have low standards. Only natural the newer, bigger and tastier burger costs more- and the extras are neat. You can pay less if you don't want everything in the burger. Ok, done. I've already answered about not getting full content above, so I'm not saying anything else here.
  4. They might as well do it if they're targeting their games toward weaboos- which western VN developers often do. Otherwise, it could just be them interested in the setting. I'm Brazilian- am I not allowed to write a story that happens in Europe?
  5. I've watched the TotalBiscuit video. The book comparison isn't valid again, unless you make a few adjustments to it. This is more similar to buying an anime and not having the extra special- and even then it's too much. If you cut a portion of a book, you're often making it absolutely unreadable. Maybe it's more akin to cutting an extra after-story that doesn't affect the first one, or maybe it's more like cutting a few cool lines the protagonist said- and I'm perfectly fine with all of those. And if I weren't, well, I could just not buy the book in the first place. There's a ton of books in my backlog anyway, not like not reading one of them will ever make me displeased. It does matter how meaningless it is- how can you even say it doesn't? Let's push it to the other side, say we're making Fate/Stay Night and we're offering special "dinner scenes" DLC. Those are silly and pointless, but you see the characters interacting and it does add a bit to them. Way, way different than cutting a whole segment of a book, isn't it? And that's for the extra mission. If we're just talking about the game, I don't even know what to compare it to. This extra content is as pointless as it gets and you're overreacting way too much when it comes to it. It's almost like you order latte. If you payed extra before you got the latte, there would be a nice cream addition. You then proceed to rant about how serious it is that you can't buy the cream midway through and how this will profoundly affect all latte drinkers over time since they don't stand up to it. Leaving all that aside, I can't see how this is babyraging over the most trivial non-issue I've seen this year. We're going in circles here, so I'll stop answering by now. Have fun continuing your circlejerk on evil companies. *Sigh*
  6. Do you seriously believe this ridiculous comparison is valid? To begin with, from what I got the DLC was one extra mission- not sure it's as much as "a story DLC" makes it sound like, but let's say it is. I highly doubt this story DLC is crucial towards the understanding or ending of the main story. This is not getting a door-less car- you cannot drive a door-less car. This is like getting a car without AC- sure it's slightly bothersome, but you can drive without it just fine. Unless you're suggesting the game is essentially unplayable without the extra. And in that case, well- I don't have much to say.
  7. Sure, I'll give you that being unable to get all content is weird. I said that already. I'd personally go for an option where you spend more money and get everything, but this just feels like a problem only people with severe OCD would have. If they have all the content ready, then having locked tiers is purely a move to get publicity from the customers, huh. Makes it a little bit worse from the company viewpoint, since you made everything already. They'd be better off making the content together relative to the success of the pre-order while giving it a Blizzard-like release time, if they're going to go with the locked tier route. Then again, I'm no business expert. Maybe this will give them more profit. I don't think it'll come back to bite them. People on the interwebs overreact and forget what was the problem one week later. All they'll do is create some rage on reddit, lol. I knew the content wasn't purely cosmetical from the beginning. I imagined people getting some nice extra weapons or something along those lines. Still don't see the problem. I'm no gamer, though. Can't see this as anything other than entitled adults behaving like raging babies because they won't have all the cool content that doesn't even seem all that relevant to begin with, all the while trying to make this seem like a huge issue.
  8. But isn't the purpose of a company to get money in the first place? Doing that while minimizing risk seems like a great idea. Specially if you plan on making an extravagant pre-order campaign- just as an example, what if you pour several hundred thousand bucks into a campaign and it fails? Doing this ensures the pre-order campaign will be just enough for how many people pre-ordered it. The only part that I see as questionable from the company is not having a pre-order option where you get all available content. That's a bit weird- I don't see why they're not offering it. Completionists might feel a little bit upset with that, I guess. Still, this whole thing just feels to me like a bunch of grown men complaining about the most superficial, stupid shit I've seen this year. No idea how you guys can muster such a reaction from this. I can't see it as anything other than "OMG, people who are paying more and beforehand are getting extras!!! WTF is this company doing, offering an incentive so that people will put more money and do so before the game comes out???? Literally Satan." Seems like you're asking the company to take significant risk just to get their customers slightly more comfortable with the pre-order, which is optional. This level of entitlement makes me baffled. Some of the raging I'm seeing in this thread makes it seem like they're killing impaired african babies to get more money. "gone too far." "absolutely disgusting". What the hell. From what I've seen, all the extra content so far is stupid anyway. OMG, playing the game 4 days before other people? Not even hitler would do that, amirite? but wait, there's clothing and 1 extra mission! Gee, I guess their evil knows no end. I'll add that If this is supposed to be a highly competitive game and the pre-order content is ridiculously overpowered than I get it- it's a problem that affects game balance. Fine. I don't think it is but I don't know- maybe this is supposed to be an esport or something. In that case, I see the complaints as valid.
  9. Eh, I don't really care about the subject- my opinion could be easily changed. It's not like I'll ever buy this type of game to begin with. It's extra content that the people who pre-order get to choose from when they do, with extra content being unlocked in new pre-order tiers that only appear if enough people pre-order the previous tier, right? There is the possibility I don't get exactly what's going on- didn't watch the video and won't bother enough to look at the pre-order. If I did misunderstand something, then I guess that's that and I'd like to hear what's the problem with this.
  10. Isn't that a problem with all preorders, though? Spending money on something you don't know will be good. The tier thingy serves to get them some extra publicity and it appeals to people who actually want the extra customizable goods. I don't know about the game's release date, but I think they're doing this to see how much they should make in the first place. Much better to the company than just offering everything and having the risk of people not buying it in the first place. If the response is good enough, than they can also make more than they originally planned for. Honestly, seems like a win-win situation to me. If you're offering pre-order DLC, you might as well do it like this. Don't get why more companies don't do it.
  11. Seems fine to me. Pretty nice idea. Is something supposed to be wrong with it?
  12. I don't particularly mind the appearance changes. It's fine, really. That said, it's not like I'm hoping for the remake to be any good.
  13. If the original are JP, yeah. Can't stand english voice acting in these games.
  14. Yes, Fang was shit (as were several other characters in that game- to be honest, Fang was one of the lesser evils to me, but I digress). Ok. I haven't advanced too far in the game. Done with chapter 2- I'll do it eventually, but I don't feel much drive to continue. Neptune herself is nice. She's pretty funny sometimes- I'm already bored of the pudding talks, though. If she keeps that up, I can see myself saying she's shit at the end. Compa annoyed me. I don't like her design, I don't like her voice, I don't like her lines. Remarkably shitty character. The third girl is just meh. I've passed one week without playing and I don't really remember her name (was it Ai?). Anyway, I can't help but dislike her either. Black Heart is ok too, I guess. Kind of. I hate tsunderes with all of my soul, so if she could drop that, she'd be passable. And that's how I feel about the characters so far. Don't like most of them and I'm not particularly fond of the gameplay either. Still plan on finishing this.
  15. Rape every beautiful guy/girl I happened to meet with my ghostly tentacles. If I didn't have ghostly tentacles (aww, shucks) guess I'd just use my ghostly powers to play VNs in the houses I haunt.
  16. Black Lilith is the first one that comes to mind. Liquid is pretty nice too. I don't tend to go for specific companies when it comes to my nukige, though I do look for specific themes. It may be a bit surprising, but I actually don't care too much for art when it comes to nukige.
  17. Just finished fairy fencer f. Going to start my first Neptunia game now. Wish me luck, I guess.

    Hearthstone

It really depends on how you wanna go about collecting the cards. People suggest arena, and it's definitely better if you're skilled, but the constructed method isn't bad either- make a face hunter deck and grind to legend. I was getting the full 100 gold (max you can get in a day aside from the quest, if anyone knows) + quest every day during my grind- that's one adventure wing every 4 days. You don't even need a good deck. I climbed from rank 5 to 3 with an original murloc deck while I was playing around. What getting there taught me is that it's all about knowing your matchups.

    Hearthstone

I've played competitive MTG for a while. The price of Hearthstone didn't really compare to that. It was mostly 200 (super budget) to 500 (pretty reasonable) dollars if you wanted 1 tournament-worthy deck, and you'll repeat the process of getting one every year, given how the format rotation goes- there were several decks above that price tag, too. I remember the best deck being about 600~800 dollars. Spending about 300 bucks every two years + playing normally to get access to most cards just seems pretty reasonable. I feel like they don't have to offer discounts at all. Not until we get a few more years on the game. Well, bundles with 30% off seems pretty reasonable, but reducing the cost of adventure wings to 200 gold is crazy.

I only play NA too. Not on my pc atm, I'll add you later.

    Hearthstone

Hm. I don't think that's needed at all. This is a card game. It's only natural you'll have to spend money on it. Compare it to MTG or Yugioh and it's so much cheaper.
