I'll stand by Aselia as the best gameplay VN tld so far, so there's my suggestion for that. You could also consider Utawarerumono- it's pretty tough to find good translated gameplay VNs, if you don't like the Rance series. As for things grounded in reality- what about Symphonic Rain? It's not super well-known, but it's one if the best VNs around. Also, we're doing Swan Song this month in the VN club. It's a bit darker than usual, but that's a great one. I suggested Sharin already, and if you don't mind the story happening in a society that's a bit different than ours, it's also a worthy consideration.

Kamidori is just average (story-wise) and if you're going for Yumina you might as well go for Aselia which has a significantly better story, as long as you don't mind outdated graphics (I also think Yumina sucks, but I can see why someone might like it. Kind of. Nah, not really). If you can read JP, I'd suggest you take a look at some Eushully games other than Kamidori. Maybe Soukoku no Arterial. To be honest, I can't come up with something that'd completely satisfy your request. If you can forsake gameplay, Sharin no Kuni would be my suggestion, if you'd like something close to G-Senjou. If we're talking about translated games, you could read Hanachirasu and then play the gameplay-heavy sequel-kind-of-weird-thing that comes with it after you're done with the main VN (advice: don't). TL;DR- read Aselia.

Kara no Shoujo and Cartagra come to mind. They fit everything you're looking for.

I'm of the opinion that you don't. If you get a summary of the characters and what happened on the previous games you'll be fine.

Alternative is pretty good. The first game, though... Ugh. It's not an experience I suggest to people. You'll be reading several hours through a steaming pile of garbage. If you've already read it I'd say go for Alternative, but otherwise, there's probably better stuff you still have to read before it.

You need to finish the other 3 routes and start from the beginning again to be able to do her route- that's mentioned in the walkthrough, though. If you already did it, then I have no idea.

Hm... I/O has an imouto and it's pretty good, but I'm sure it's not what you're looking for... There's Cartagra. That imouto is amazing and relevant. I'll make another post if I think of something.

What about Soukoku no Arterial, if you don't mind trying out something with gameplay? There's a group of 3 imoutos, one which is blood-related to the protagonist. She's also one of my favorite imoutos in VNs.

That's the lamest way to have sex ever. Amputee is a pretty nice tag, though. You can chain them to a public toilet and leave them there~ I never noticed any difference in netorare to netori works, both feel like the same thing to me- it's all about seeing the face of the one being cheated on, heh.

Kuuderes and Tsunderes should all burn in hell for all I care.

As for the Eushully angels... Some of them are pretty good, some less so- I don't use any of them, though that's more of my personal preference than anything else. Normal Eushully is the best one out of the bunch. Anastasia is kinda bad compared to the rest of them (still leagues above the trash tier characters), and the other 2 are pretty good. For your first playthrough, I'd recommend the 4 main characters, Kohakuren, Elizasleyn and Crayanne- They're the most solid fighters you'll get there. Do keep in mind that Crayanne kinda sucks when the opponent resists earth damage, though. Another big loser is the dragon. He's pretty bad. By the way, my usual dungeon-exploring team when I stopped playing the game was Hannah, Will, Yuela (I dislike her, but she's too good to take off the team... Ugh), Phinilly, Mylen (OP as hell), Asmodeus, Elizasleyn, Kohakuren and Lily... Though that changed a lot in the NG+ dungeons, where I selected team members that were better off to that dungeon.

Even with everything, the NG+ dungeons are hard. Don't go for level 99, though. That's way too much (not enough to easily beat those dungeons, but...)- simply not worth the grind. I totally regret it. I'd go for level 70- As for characters, Suina sucks badly, don't try to level her up. Mud girl too. And the firefox that I forgot the name of. And the fish dude. They all suck and are about as awful as it gets. Don't level up the Succubus, you'll get Lily on NG+ which is almost strictly better than her. Stone Golem is also all the mud girl wanted to be (and failed). The 3 main girls are pretty good on their own. Will is overpowered as hell in the late game. Elyzaslein and Kohakuren are pretty damn good and still remain in my party, even with all characters and at 99- do go through the effort of getting them... Kinda hard to say which characters you should use, since my party is full of NG+ characters.
