If you don't mind some gameplay, you can try out Beat Blades Haruka. That game does actually have some NTR elements (especially in the submission bad endings) beyond just having the main heroines be raped whenever they lose to a boss. The evil endings are fairly dark, too. I feel a bit reluctant suggesting it because you kinda need to turn the game dark through gameplay, since it doesn't really start that way. You can have it be entirely vanilla. It's pretty good so check it out if you're interested, though. I kinda need to break away from the NTR theme now because there really isn't anything else for translated VNs (I could help out with that if you're into H manga though, it's a lot more common there.) If you liked the feeling of Yukikaze, you could check out the Taimanin Asagi games if you haven't already (I think they translated 3 of them) or Shion ~ Zankokuna Mahou no Tenshi~ Those games are older than Yukikaze, but they share the same atmosphere, and are the same type of short, dark ero game about breaking girls. Asagi happens in the same universe, you actually should've seen the girls of those games as teachers in Yukikaze.

I think it's pretty normal not to feel anything when something bad happens to a loved one, though apparently it's more normal to feel sad. I don't think I ever got sad at news of someone dying, which isn't to say I didn't care about the people who did die. Fata Morgana is slow. The whole first chapter didn't capture me, and there was this period when I was starting to read every other chapter where I didn't care about anything that was going on, and it lasted far too long for me. The artsyle is weird. I guess when I got used to that it helped with giving style to the game, but for a large portion of me reading that it was offputting. I like that experimental works like that exist, and I find it a healthy thing and am overall happy it has its fanbase, though I'm not willing to support it and am not part of that fanbase.

Flowers is the only one which isn't trash, asides from I/O, so go for that, lol.

Swan Song starts with a large-scale societal collapse and deals with how a small group of survivors sees the the aftermath of it. It deals with what would happen if the government suddenly stopped working due a big disaster and is probably the closest of what you're looking for, though it doesn't deal with some of what you want. Daibanchou is the wacky story of a protagonist attempting to destroy all of the currently existing governments and let people re-arrange society as they wish once he's done with that, with absolute no intention to rule over anyone afterwards (though he does so by creating an organized military force.) It doesn't actually deal with any themes in-depth since it's mostly comedic, but I figured you might like it.

Rose Guns Days for a big one. Story starts off right from the first line, never slows down too much. Also all of nitroplus' short stories. Saya no Uta, Kikokugai, Hanachirasu, Phenomeno. Those are even better, though they're a lot shorter (all of them can be completed in 1 to 5 hours)

I will make some changes to the list somewhat soon, as it hasn't been updated for over a year now. Virtue's last reward won't make it. Yume Miru Kusuri probably won't either. I'd keep Sharin over most titles of this list. Definitely over G-Senjou.
