Should have some fun with me on USF4 I have actually been playing it quite a bit on PC recently (I am still shit tier so don't worry). Though I am practicing somewhat since I plan to go to EVO 2016, not to compete or anything, I just want to play casuals and watch the matches. It helps that my irl best friend picked it up on PC as well so we are going through it together. Man, I am so bad at USF4 though

I was really wanting Xrd, but I don't think i'll be able to pick it up for a while. But I have hype for Melty Blood, hopefully it comes on Steam soon. In the meantime, i'm having a ton of fun with Persona 4 Arena.

Don't ask me why I watched it, or why I have been keeping up with it, because I don't know either. But I just watched the 5th and final episode, and am hoping for an explanation for the ending, mainly because I don't really have the time I want to devote to reading it. Anyways, what I do understand is that Kanae was behind the incident this whole time (this kind of came out of nowhere), and that she gives Kei the choice of killing her or killing Manaka. He doesn't want to kill either because he is a pussy, so the three other girls die, and then at the end of the episode he's fucking Manaka, and then breaks her neck (apparently killing her?), and then the screen cuts to black with Kanae (I think) saying "I hate to admit it, but you win, you can have him back". Then we get some sort of three year time skip, there's a tiny flashback showing Kanae dead on the ground, and then Kei is seen walking down the steps with this girl who looks like Manaka but doesn't know who he is, they have sex (because euphoria) and she says she doesn't know who he is, again, but that that's only something you do if you love someone, so they must be lovers. So what I don't understand is, who was she talking to when she was admitting defeat? Why wasn't Manaka dead? And why was there some random three year time skip inbetween all of this? And most importantly, why do I care so much?

Probably is one of the VN's that can't run on Win10.

I stopped over half a year ago now for god knows what reason, and I really want to get back into it, but I have no idea what I should pick up. I don't want anything crazy, and it doesn't have to be a kamige or anything. Just something that is relatively light hearted but can have it's serious moments, like Princess Evangile or something. Oh yeah, and it has to be translated

It's my favorite fighting game so I'm always eager to see new people learn how to play I might not be able to for a few weeks since it's a christmas present, and the person buying it is pretty adamant about giving it to me on christmas. But yeah I have always wanted to check it out, though i'm sure i'll never be good at it. Don't know who i'm going to play, either.. Don't discourage yourself from getting good! I started playing Ultimax (and fighting games in general, since it was my first one) when it launched last September, and within 9 months I made Quarter-finals at Evo. With the third worst character in the game. Persona is super beginner friendly, so as long as you practice and have fun you can improve really quickly. What archetypes do you typically gravitate towards? (shoto/rushdown/zoning/grappler etc. etc.) I generally like to play rushdown characters, like Makoto in USF4. Never really cared for shoto's, just too boring for me personally. I also absolutely suck with charge characters, because I cannot for the life of me charge buffer consistently on a controller. Grapplers and zoning characters are also really fun too, though grapplers generally have some pretty wonky inputs that I have trouble doing on a controller. The nice thing about Persona is that all the inputs are super simple. The only motions in the game are quarter circles. (Special moves are one quarter circle, supers are two quarter circles). That means the input for Kanji's command grab is quarter circle back instead of like, a 360 or potbuster motion. Chie, Sho, and Marie/Labrys/Akihiko sort of are rushdown characters. Kanji is the mainstay grappler, and Minazuki and Adachi land somewhere in between rushdown and grappler. If you wanted to learn Kanji I could send you the tutorial I wrote lol Akihiko looks pretty fun (I guess it helps that he was one of my favorite characters in P3). Also, are the shadow variations tournament legal/useable online? I haven't seen much of them, so I don't know what all they change, but Akihiko's looked OP.

KOF, SF5, Tekken7, Brawlhalla, and I'm sure more will come. Probably going to get all of them and proceed to suck at, well, all of them. Also, I am feeling the KOF14 on Steam if anyone has it, if not, you can get it on G2A for around $9. I don't know if my PC could run it q.q :(( Can it run USF4? Yeah, it can run it on max settings and get 60fps. But these tests like on game debate and stuff are saying my GPU can't handle SFV

*Mugi uses Phoenix Down on thread* I just got a PS3 again (it's broken, so I have to return it for another one though q.q), and along with it I got P4 Arena Ultimax and Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax. I plan on getting Blazblue and Guilty Gear Xrd at some point, and I also have MvC2 on here

Oh god, I stopped watching Shippuden basically right when it began and stuck to the manga. I heard that only like 8 or so episodes this year have been non-filler, out of 50'ish. That sounds completely insane.
