Literally any scene in anything ever. It's goes with everything just as much as Guile's theme does.

I'm not too surprised, he looked extremely good. I just want to know how his limit break system works. Actually, i'd be surprised if he wasn't OP as all hell, you don't put Cloud in smash and make him crap PM me your Wii U friend code? I may not be on much anymore but for future reference <3 I still don't have smash, but sure i'll give it to you, one sec

I recommend Tenchu 2 for the PS1. I got it as part of a box of games when I got my first console, and it was actually pretty great.

After looking back through my collection, I found quite a few that I personally love, but that I haven't heard anyone else as much as mention. What are your favorite underrated games and hidden gems? I think that this is a good opportunity to discover some games that most of us probably passed over or wrote off as being bad without giving it a chance. I'll start by saying Bomberman: Jetters for the Gamecube. I remember picking this up in the bargain bin at the local supermarket many years ago and ended up loving it, I had never played a Bomberman game before (which is apparently famous for it's fun multiplayer) and I never actually ended up playing the multiplayer because no friends, but the story mode was surprisingly fun. I liked how there were so many other elemental Bomber people, and the kind of "monster raising sim" part of it was pretty great to me at the time. And all the different bombs and how you created them were pretty cool as well.

Here is a nice little example of said hype
-
Hype. Hype is the reason. Yep, pretty much this. Also, Daddy Sakurai is a god, anything can happen.
-
Pretty sure DIssidia 012 is a FF fighting game, if you're interested in that. I think there's a new game in the series coming soon as well
-
Yeah, there's no story, but i'm sure there are people who haven't watched the direct yet who might want to be surprised. But I didn't see this coming at all, since everyone was expecting the Fighter Ballot choices.
-
For those of you who aren't watching the direct right now FUCKING CLOUD STRIFE WAS JUST ANNOUNCED FOR SMASH I'M HAVING A HYPE INDUCED STROKE RIGHT NOW, HELP ME, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS THESE EMOTIONS

I've always been curious about this, but haven't ever actually brought it up to anyone. Ever since I was a kid, I've always liked Japanese music just as much, if not more (in some cases) than English music. I think it really started with FMA's second opening, "Ready Steady Go". I mean, I liked other songs before that, but I think that's where I really started to get into it. Maybe it's because it's another language, and that in and of itself was fascinating to me as a kid, and it just stuck with me all these years? Or would it be weird to say that I can still feel the emotions put into the songs, despite not understanding what they are actually saying? It's really making me want to learn the language, and I think it would be the biggest source of my motivation, even more so than VN's. I think being able to understand a whole 'nother cultures massive library of music would be more amazing than anything I could ever read or watch.
-
I take it back, if it actually has a good end, or multiple good ends, I might check it out. But if the ends are as "fuck you, reader who cares about these characters" as the first one, I don't want to go anywhere near it. Also, is it continuing off the first game? Or is it a completely different story entirely?

I'd be down for a conversation about why orange juice with pulp is superior to orange juice without it But in all seriousness, I can think of a few decent topics. Discussing mainstream anime/manga series and whether or not you and the guest think they live up to the hype (example: Tokyo Ghoul, the big three, DBZ, etc.). You could also discuss waifuism, or maybe even have a few episodes dedicated to discussing and analyzing a certain anime/manga/VN. Or, if you're looking to talk about something non-otaku related, I think it would be pretty neat to talk about horror movies or something.

I've only played a couple songs so far, and will actually get to playing later today after class. I've also been looking at the reddit giveaway area, but haven't had any luck

Is there one you want in particular? There are a ton of people giving starter UR accounts away on the sif reddit and such These are people that used the scouting ticket you get for free in the beginning and hit it big Not yet, i'm still pretty new to Love Live in general so I don't know everyone Is there a list of UR's in the game? Preferably ones that are on the global version? http://goo.gl/wQFqI5 Ignore the vegas nozomi, the beach eli and the moms (moms are for leveling up skills and the two others are promo cards which you can't get any more). You should stay away from UR's that restore stamina since they are get completely useless once you get good at the game. Hm, going off looks alone the ones that stand out to me are: http://schoolido.lu/cards/196/ http://schoolido.lu/cards/203/ http://schoolido.lu/cards/272/ http://schoolido.lu/cards/134/ Also, how do you get that scouting ticket? I finished the tutorial and didn't get one

Really? This is what sells the system to you? Not the FF 7 remake? No Mans Sky? Bloodborne? FF XV? until dawn, persona 5 (well for ps3 too but still) yakuza 6!!!Let it die, the last guardian Also Shenmue 3! I just don't see Overwatch as anywhere near a system seller, I guess.

Like most others have said, it looks like a paid version of TF2 with better looking characters. I'm sure it will sell, just because Blizzard's name is on it. I think it looks kind of boring though, doesn't really bring anything new to the table. Tracer is a qt 3.14 tho

After the PTSD that was the first game? Lolnope

Untested in court. Which makes sense I suppose You're probably more likely to get sued for downloading pirated music than you are for downloading/making fan translations. Copyright laws in the US might as well not exist as they are now amiright.

You do realize they're paying the translators/editors/coders for this right? You can't grab an illegal translation off the internet and use it commercially even if you have the rights. Oh, is that so? In that case, I take back what I said. Are the translations themselves illegal, though? I thought there was nothing wrong with purchasing the Japanese version of a game and getting an english patch for it.

Something that really gets under my skin with SP is how they put basically no work into 80% of their releases, instead they just take a previous fan translation, maybe change the CG's like they did with G-Senjou, censor it, and then put it up for sale. I know that they have every right to take the fan TL's and use them for their releases, but the fact that they are taking all these fan TL groups hard work and using it to make a profit just bothers me on a moral level. Of course they do don't this with absolutely everything, see..Clannad (which I still don't know how they haven't finished it yet, are they in an endless circlejerk or something?). Edit: Also, this doesn't apply to SP alone, this applies to any company that does this.

Is it really? I thought only the producer was Japanese, and the rest of the cast and the writer were all American.
