Hello~ I'm not sure which 'When They Cry' you read, so I'll mention both Higurashi and Umineko. Other than that, Phenomeno and Shikkoku no Sharnoth are cool reads if you like horror. The latter has a divisive writing style though. Symphonic Rain is good for romance, but it relies a lot on the atmosphere for the most part, so if you're not into atmospheric storytelling you may not like it.
