well,I actually liked hscenes(with Yumiko at least)but overall story writing is...ridiculous?Amane route is one very big expection,it felt naturally and very detailed in her flashback.Yumiko route is nice and sweet,but also stupid.Michiru is burned my hate for all tsundere's in the vn's world,oh my gosh she is so annoying.Sachi route is very unlogical.But only for Amane route GnK deserves 8/10 at least.I think that 2nd and 3rd part of that story will be better in storytelling(because of certain character) After all,this vn's handles emotions ride quite well,have BADASS protag,lovely characters,and good producing quality.Thats all.

You know-now i believe that this VN is not packed with the memorable scenes.I mean-if you remember tsubasa hirogete i'm sure that someone just will not be able to complete it in time,nor to mention that it have a lot of memorable scenes.Like,how many scenes can you recall after playing YMK?As for me its 4-5 for Aeka,5-6 for Nekoko,and 3-4 for Mizuki.Game's length sure is very connected to this point).Well,its not complaint,but I feel a lack of discussion material,LOL also Yup,i know what you feel bro

I also already completed it,and for me only Aeka route gave any feelings(quite hard if you ask),Mizuki is so-so,and i did not feel anything during Nekoko route.Just my opinion,waiting to discuss with you all)

Ahhah,my first vn also,to the guys who say that it want to be japanese-just read "Beskonechnoe leto"that have been made by the group of enthusiasts from russian imagebord 2ch-it just so lame and THAT shit is surely "want to be japanese". For me,katawa shoujo is that thing that opened me a world of vn's,and i remember how i was crying badly after Lilly rout.Seriously,that route have just awesome producing quality-i'm felt one with Hisao,pure immersion.Also,I dont know anything about vn specifics and branching,and simply chose variants by my heart,ended with a good end with Lilly from 1st try.Very proud of myself about it)It also very helped me a lot in my real life,because after reading it i'm started to improve as human being. Art is somewhere stylish as hell,but overall art quality is 6/10 for me.Some routs(Yeah,Shizune)just screwed and not as cathy as others.Hanako's too short,especially.Music is quite catchy,as i downloaded soundtrack and listened to it nearly for 2 or 3 months.Hella of time passed,still think that this VN is best for someone who just got started reading them.

Pretty much every vn had some aftertaste for me,but i remember when i first played katawa shoujo it was lilly rout,i felt with ilness and dont know anything about vns at all,so its like absolutely new experience for me)Man ,i cried a lot. I'm new on this forum,so please treat me well)Also im ukranian,so sorry everyone for my bad english,and I wrote here because I wanna share with you my thoughts after completion of Muv-Luv Alternative)) Alright,first-some information to prepare: I already have played a bunch of VNs:katawa shoujo(my first route ever was Lilly ),Narcissu,Endless Summer,Fate/Stay Night,School days HQ(that was pretty shitty for me),Clannad,if my heart had wings(not finished yet),Tsukihime(also not finished),maybe forgot something. Okay,so moving forward-maybe I'm one of those,who completed ML series with a ideal timeline)When I've started playing MLA,nearly all the small details from Extra what appeared in Alt. have been forgotten due to month break,so every one of those ''oh god,how I can forgot this''strike me pretty badly Alright,for the game-Its sure the masterpiece,that can be treated as a best VN on VNDB-you know,this just insane how i'm got addicted to it.From a bunch of heroines ive seen so far,Meiya is one of those,who gets me completely bound to her-every time i've seen her on screen,my heart was swimming with endorphines,so much of her traits,what resemble perfect partner for me-she just THAT type to me,im seriuosly have been looking for a girlfriend with hers set of mind,maybe this will end with success))) ). Thats novel just so cool,that i cant describe this well-every one of my serious thoughts about the world,our purpose in it,our fate and all over got reinterpreted.This novel helped me not to hesistate,and was with me in a tough period of my life.Its just filled with some thery heart-cathing frazes,i'm seriuosly writed down some of them in my diary just to not forget.Its filled with humanism and strong creed,that got me catched. ATTENTION HEAVY SPOILERS YOU'VE BEEN WARNED Also the growing up of Takeru is simply reminded me myself,so I've got a very heavy resemblance with this character,i'm also have been punished for the weaknesess of mine in life.Not in that heavy way,of course,but Takeru made up his mind helped me to do this too. To sum up,its been nearly perfect expirience for me,and I'm also want that all of you too find the novel,that can seriously change your life.I've started reading Visual novels not just for the entertaiment,but also to find my own way of though.And Muv-Luv Alternative is helped me a lot in it. That nearly all,thank you all who've got this topic readed,I'm so full of the emotions that its just cant be described well on foreign language,but i've tried.Please not punish me for the grammar or bad words)) I also want to ask,where in novels or maybe anime or books(literally all the media) i can find similiar characters as Meiya?For you to understand:my most lovely character's in other's vns is Lilly(katawa shoujo),Tomoyo(clannad),Saber(Fate\stay),so basically,i'm in search of characters that have honor in their hearts to think about other people,nobleness(not exactly in the outward appearance,like Tomoyo for her clear object to save the sakuras valley),hardworker,strict,reserved,kind,with a sharp mind,refined,calm in usual situations,but hot-blooded in the fight,have the fighing skill to ensure her safety,have a very hard moral codex and firmness of spirit,objective in most situations,and have a desire to support protagonist.Of course not all the traits needed to be in one character nor to be in some order(Meiya of course is exception),but i'll review some of your proposes.I hope that i created the "image i'm searching for" correctly.
