Kinda both. I mean for example if you absolutely hate NTR and rape, you won't be turn on sexually right? Or is this one of those "you may be saying you hate it, but your body is honest" type of scenario cliche. Man, I've heard that freaking line at least 50 times now in many forced/rape/NTR vns. I was talking more about people mentioning open endings and plotholes which I have hard time thinking about in a sexual manner to begin with. Though I suppose it's all about how they implement it

This thread seems confused. Are we talking about things that are turn offs sexually or just stuff we do not generally like in VNs? It seems to be the former but some of these posts confuse me. Not that it matters much I guess. Personally there are too many to count. To my huge shame I think I'm a bit of a prude. But of all of them, guro and NTR especially have me running to the hills. I can deal with other stuff if the rest of the story is good enough, but not them.

Kira☆Kira has a few good ones. Oddly enough Chie gets left out, something I find very unfair. I also found a really good one from '&' - Sora no Mukou de Sakimasu you ni - (got a interesting title for sure) which makes me really depressed that there exist no translation of it. Someone should really get on that.* Okay so I got a thing about kisses were the girl is clearly initiating it. Sue me. Like most people have said the lack of kiss cgs seem to stem from the artists reluctance to show the MC. Can't really have a good kissing cg without showing both of the participants. Well apparently you can but it looks really weird. H-scenes usually get away with it by not showing the upper body of the guy. Not that they don't tend to hide the MC in the H-scenes anyway in VNs were they otherwise have no problem showing him. *You have to listen and do what I say translators! I'm a person from the internet!

The sequel (Kira Kira Curtain Call) is trash compared to the original. I don't think he/she is going to see your post. Sweet necro. But yes, Curtain Call can't compare. The second half is not completely bad, at least in my opinion. Still not even close though.

This is not something that only happens in Japan. Dan Green for example have gone under many different aliases. Like the people above me have said, people seem to be very uncomfortable about publicly announcing they are doing porn. Either that or they have contractual obligations they want to avoid, like an american voice actor wanting to do work outside the Screen Actor's Guild. I would assume obligations like that can be pretty common in Japan too.

Official: Bokuten (yes, I'm the one lone bastard that is waiting for this), Clannad (No valid string, please make a ticket about it) and Seinarukana (get your ass moving Jast). Sadly it's getting harder and harder to keep the hype going for fan translations because many of them end up not seeing the light of day. Looks like Noble Works might actually be done soon though so that is something to look forward to.

Chaos;Head has romance, kind of. Main character takes some real getting used to, but it has some good scares here and there and a creepy atmosphere. The love interest is also pretty likable.

My first title was oddly enough Private Nurse (not a nukige, despite what the title might lead you too believe). In retrospective it's probably not very good, but it did get me interested in the medium.

Freaking Appo from Edelweiss. He never once managed to be funny or likable, just creepy and disgusting. Sadly Overdrive seem to think he was comedy gold because among the side characters he got the most attention. First time a side character almost got me to drop a VN. I'm glad I didn't because the routes themselves are decent, even if they are nothing special. For anyone that actually want to see him.

Chaos;Head has some good moments in the horror department. As long as you are not bothered by a pretty (intentionally) pathetic protagonist, I would give it a read.

I'm admittedly a bit too hard on Edelweiss. I just really, really didn't find Appo funny (something overdrive clearly did). The girls are still all likeable though and it's cheaper than buying it on Mangagamer.

Definitively bought the 4$ tier so I'm happy I saw this. Just as confused by the 10$ tier as the rest of you though. A ntr nukige and Edelweiss. Well I guess Edelweiss is alright. Well, some parts are. Like when they don't focus Appo. Which they sadly do. A lot. Even then it's just merely alright. Anyone know if Nicole is any good? Never really read otome so I haven't really heard of it.

I would not recommend KiraKira. While it starts off fairly lighthearted, it can get pretty dark at times. Especially Kiraris Route. It is really good though, just probably not kid appropriate. While I haven't played the all-ages version I think all it does is remove/change the H-scenes. So a bit misleading really, calling it all-ages, but oh well..
