I seriously try to avoid your typical highschool romance VNs like a plague, unless it is something like fruit of grisaia or cross channel.

After playing through several hours worth of Canvas 2 and getting on no route whatsoever...yes. Imo route choices should only be a few and easily recognizable, with the rest of them yielding only non-route important changes in dialogue and unfolding events.

So I went and played the game yesterday. I gotta say, the match three aspect of the game was surprisingly incredibly fun, and there were times I can honestly say I was literally sweating bullets when faced with the lack of moves towards the end of the date. However as dating sim, it is extremely mediocre. There is basically no plot behind the game as well, which quickly leads to this game relying heavily on the gameplay aspect. Also the sex scenes in this game are absolute fucking blasphemy, being based off the very same game play as the rest of the game. I give it a 6/10. The visuals are solid, the music is not unpleasant at all, and the gameplay is really fun. The plot is practically non existent though.

I think it was katawa shoujo. I remember searching for a medium with a nice plot that I would enjoy, that was longer than anime or movies, and since I do not mind reading at all, VNs were clear choice for me. I use VNs mainly when I want to relax and enjoy the plot without having to wrack my nerves with gameplay of video games. It is pretty sad I cant really recommend those games to any of my friends, because of the sex scenes. I fear they would have detrimental effect to people´s willingness to read them. Shame really, most VNs have better plot and presentations than any of the recent hollywood movies.

What kind of sorcery did you utilize to be able to install anything with that contains ¨muv¨ and ¨luv¨ on your PC? How many bear asses do I have to collect? There was some anime with character design from Mel Kishida that revolved around military anime girls, something So Ra No Wo To or something stupid like that Female characters are more than welcome, but everything in moderation. 1:1 male/female character ratio would be perfect. Then you might as well ask the sun to stop shining. A 1:1 male/female ratio in a military anime not involving mecha or space travel happens when the heath death of the universe happens. There just is no market for anything like that (as much as I'd like for there to be one) Well there was Valkyria chronicles, but we have seen how THAT turned out... This kinda pisses me off.

Anime about giant robots never gets the combat atmosphere right. Hell this is one of the few things that anime producers should take some pointers from hollywood on. It is mostly stupid duels between two dudes having short sequences of fighting between 2 minutes of talking after each short combat sequence. It seems to me that anime about military in general should focus more about the experiences of the common foot soldiers, rather than long boring expositions and silly looking giant robots. FMAB was pretty good imo so GATE might be my cup of tea, thanks for that suggestion.

No space travel, giant robots or main focus on airplanes. I watched Valkyria chronicles, but well...the anime adaptation is kind of meh...

This is nothing new. They have had a YT account deleted for uploading S2 UBW opening. Seriously what the feck... One thing I don't get though, companies making TV shows profit from selling rights to air those shows on the TV, right? So why the hell are they concerned about people watching these shows on the internet, when they are still going to get their profit from selling the rights to air these shows?
