I'd have to go witht he entire OSTs of "Persona 3" and "Earthbound". Really great tracks in these games. Here are my favourite tracks from each: Runner-up would be the entire "Kirby" series. =p Especially "Kirby's Adventure"!

The characters might seem inconsistent because there are things about their backgrounds you don't know yet, or perhaps you're overanalysing their behaviour. Assuming these 'sudden changes of character' are in the common, it should be within excusable limits given the light-hearted nature of that part of the game. If you don't enjoy the common at all, you are going to have a very hard time playing through the game, which will require skipping over the vast majority of it, on-and-off rereading some sections, and reading new sections added by your new decisions each playthrough. This is by far the biggest problem I had with the game. It's reasonable enough that it might make you not want to play it, and I say that as a die-hard fan of "Rewrite". When you say "some Characters are interesting", does this include Kotarou? If you don't appreciate the humour of the common route, I'd say there's a reasonable chance you don't like him, based on other people's opinions. I recommend you finish at least one full route (Kotori is the popular first-route-recommendation) before you decide for sure you don't like the characters. If you want to enjoy the game, you will need to at least appreciate Kotarou's character. If you dislike the protagonist, you'll dislike the game, especially the later routes. If you really find the music that annoying, you're in for a rough ride. This game is long. You're bound to find it unbearable by the end. Overall, I'd say you should consider dropping "Rewrite" either now or, if you're unsure, after completing a route. I, and many others, really love this game; but I can appreciate that it's not for everyone. Hope this helped.

If you pay attention to the posts, you notice that a majority just dismiss the idea because they're translations. They completely ignore the existence of OELVNs. (Though admittedly, they're aren't that many.) I assume that was Palas's reasoning.

What about OELVNs? My memory has faded somewhat, but "Katawa Shoujo" should have at least an average young adult novel's levek of English. Although that's the only OELVN I've read, there's certainly a case to be made there. VNs aren't all translations. That said, IMHO you really ought to be reading something more highbrow if you're a native speaker and wish to improve your literacy. If it's a foreigner learning English at an intermediate level, VNs can be quite helpful.

Same thing I do every year: go out and light fireworks all over the place, and be a general nuisance to the community. Pretty typical way to celebrate over here for my age group. Might make a bonfire as well. Speaking of which, do other countries associate fireworks and bonfires with Halloween? We do bonfires here because it's how the original Celtic holiday was traditionally celebrated, so maybe Scotland and Wales do as well? I live in Ireland, BTW.

IKR? Mothership has no reason to exist anymore, ffs. It can't even use Photon Overcharge; so, for most of the game, it's undeniably inferior to the core, which is supposed to be the less advanced version. (logic! where is it?) They'd have to give it a new ability to give it a purpose again, and I doubt they've any interest in doing that. So if you want to have fun with the Mothership (or in general, IMHO), you should play WoL.

"Rewrite" is one of those games with a long-arse common AND long-arse routes. The individual routes aren't exactly what one would call 'short'.

Jesus, if there's one game wherein you don't want to skip a route, it's "Rewrite". Trust me. I asked the exact same question you're asking here, and I ended up enjoying Kotori's route more anyway.

Had to go for lips. I'll be interested to see if anyone else does. What can I say? Kissing is nice. Really nice. Fellatios are like my favourite H-scenes. Also, to me, a cute voice is a must; and lips are pretty much the visualisation of voices.

I'm translating a song, "To the End" to japanese, and am not sure my phrases make any sense. The initial line is: "All these dirty words, They make us look so dumb." Since a proper translation would have far too many syllables, I've taken huge liberties and turned it into: 「いじわる言葉 俺ら馬鹿にするね」 Honestly, I'm not sure if I just need a particle or if it doesn't make sense at all. Anything above casual conversation is a new frontier for me. I also need help with these lines: "Soon it will be gone forever. Infatuated only with ourselves," Went with: 「いなくなってしまう 自分だけに恋して」 Any help's appreciated.
