I just joined Fuwa a year ago, am still one of the fresh potatos out there. And out of nowhere while browsing fuwa, this question came up. "Why was Fuwa named Fuwa, and the origins of Fuwa?" Anyone veteran want to give me a history lesson on this VN site?

I don't personally use the quick-save/load function given in VNs, why would you need QS QL when you can just save? Anyone wanna tell me why this even exist in the first place?

Little question before I start reading the VN, I have't watched the anime so I will be delving into this unknown. Without spoilers (ples) how bad was the anime compared to the VN? I heard countless shit ratings from the "anime only watchers" stating that it was a harem fest or whatever it was called, seems like every few EPs the MC goes and bang one of the heroine making it a harem cluster fuck school days 2.0. But I am pretty sure the producers just executed the timeline badly since there are no routes in the anime(?) every single route in the VN was jammed into one timeline. So, how was it? It seems to be a expected the unexpected SOL VN.

Well for me, I hate OELVN 100% and will never touch them, seems to be a waste of time to me after Katawa whatever that was. And I only read untranslated VNs, I might just fit the observation. And in regards to what Japanese people look for in a VN, simply see each year's Moege Hr Awards and you will see the trend.

So let's get this straight, I dislike the fact that popular/great VNs are slowly entering the steam market. To me, it's not the platform itself, but it's cancerous community with those AAA games elites, price complainers, "and ples where is the hentai?" groups of people. And what's more, I don't want to see high quality VNs in the same store as OELVN, they ain't comparable. What prompted me was last time when I was browsing through Meikyuu steam community, I have seen some many posts complaining and nagging about the prices. "novel games are over priced" "not paying 20$ for cut H game" "kajitsu is longer why dis same price" Stuff like this really triggers me, do you secondary weeb (oh no here we go) know how much I am paying for every original hard copy VN? To the point where I am starting to think these people don't deserve to even be able to view VN, tho it might be going against Fuwa ideals. And I ma moving towards the learn JP or don't read it, path. What do you guys think? Fuck you Sakura series, little shitty misrepresentation of a VN to the West.

I do believe that what makes a VN good usually will be the plot that it offers, I read for amazing plot and stories, if I need fapping material I would move onto ero-anime. Or at least, deliver what was meant to be delivered. Semi-Rant Let's also talk about the western market always complaining about 18+ patch, release date and all that drama. Keep in mind that many JP products are made solely "For Sale in Japan only" and thus the West was not the original target market. So don't complain if you are getting 80% of a VN with cut H content. Either wait or man up and pick up some textbooks and learn the language.
