I really detested Kuwagata from Swan Song. At first I was fine with him, but by the end, he had just become so despicable and disgusting. I also hated Tobioka from KonoSora. The VN tried to justify his actions, but he had been such a douche that it just didn't end up working at all for me.

Going by how almost every other VN adaptation that I've seen went, this is probably going to be terrible. I guess I'll remain cautiously optimistic and see how it turns out...

That's definitely Requiem, the one that was linked. There's a folder in the game called BGM, you can find it there.

Maybe Long Live the Queen? It's a raising sim on steam and it has many bad endings.

I can't say that reading VNs with a male protagonist creep me out, but I also don't tend to insert myself into the role of the main character, so it's more like reading a romance novel, almost. Same goes for yuri. I don't necessarily mind H scenes, but it really depends on how they're used. I feel like many VNs (*cough*Grisaia*cough*) could greatly benefit from either cutting back on or completely removing the H content, but at the same time, I won't hold it against something like Katawa Shoujo, Swan Song, or Saya, because it's integral to the story and I feel like it would be a worse experience without them.

It got Saya and Ange, but not Aroe.

Normally I hate tsunderes, but I do really like both Kurisu and Lucia.

. I'm on Atto Terza Scena 7. Is there a lot later on, and is it avoidable?

Probably not for a really long time. Mangagamer announced plans at Anime Expo, but no set date was given. I'm kind of assuming that the first one will be released some time after Higurashi has been fully released on steam.

I believe that the first one was Yumiko and the second one was in Mitcher's route, but it wasn't Mitcher herself.

It depends on your budget. I just ran a quick ebay search and several came up, but all at a rather high price. I'm sorry, off of the top of my head I can't think of anywhere else you might find one.

I just finished the first segment. I love the opening, it's so pretty.

Umineko is the only thing to date that has really made me cry my eyes out. There were a lot of instances, but the biggest two are in episode 8, the scene just before the tea party and the very last scene. G Senjou no Maou's epilogue hit me pretty hard too.

In that case, I guess I'll move on to Muv Luv next. In regards to the first installment, how much would you say reading every route adds to the experience? I've heard that it's okay to just read Meiya and Sumika's routes, but I don't really mind reading the others if it helps.

Just finished Fate/Stay Night. It was really good. Illya best gril. Now, should I play Inganock, Ever17, Muv Luv, or My Girlfriend is president? Or should I wait until the voting for reading club is finished and read whatever wins?
