Makes sense why I haven't played one then. I don't play old VNs.

I personally never got the point of getting angry that you couldn't read a certain heroine's route until later. To me, if a certain heroine's route is locked off, it makes me more excited to get to it and see what it reveals. Hell, Coco never interested me a character and even then, her route was my most anticipated because of the order.

I think my opinions are obvious on this considering my top 5 VNs are all multiple route mysteries.

So I have a backlog for the first time in forever and I need some help in deciding which VN I'm gonna read next. I have 3 VNs I'm thinking about trying out at the moment. They are Forest I/O Demonbane Which one should I read? Convince me on your choice.

Fata Morgana mostly showed me that a more SoL-based mystery can actually be extremely good. If you liked Fata Morgana, definitely check out Enigma. You may get the same reaction from it.

I know that VNs did help me become a Kyonyuu fan, but it was mainly hentai that made me love them so much.

Despite how much I love the VN medium, none of them have ever really changed me. They've affected me in an emotional manner, but I haven't ever changed as a person as a result of a VN.

I will teach you my one true method. It's called don't play any moege unless you're extremely bored and want to hate your life.

Indeed. I got through my backlog back in 2016, but now I actually have a backlog again.
