Well, Dies Irae and Himawari have an enforced playing order and those are 2 of my favourite VNs, so I can get on board with it as long as there are reasons, like if it would improve the mystery in a VN.

WagaHigh really only has 1 really good route and 1 alright route. The rest are really bad. At least the common route was really entertaining though.

Apparently Dal Segno is one of the best in that series and it made me want to die, so good luck with Da Capo.

I'd recommend playing something like Chrono Clock or Supipara is you wanted good light-hearted VNs. Those are the only 2 major VNs I've enjoyed from that style.

It's definitely a bad sign of what's to come with this release. I guess we'll have to have a thread to judge what is the worst CC TL once this comes out.

They can't even get the descriptions translated in a proper, grammatical matter.

That's definitely a good idea. Anything with the name MoeNovel attached to it should be avoided and shunned at all times.

People are convinced it'll never get a good translation and I see why, but maybe it could've been like with Dies Irae where it would've gotten the best possible translation it could've possibly gotten from one of the people who TLed Dies. However, just like my hopes for ChuSinGura were ruined back in 2016, Cross;Channel will forever have a terrible localization that people will purchase without any knowledge of the quality.

Going outside is for lame-os. The purpose of this community was to make VNs popular in the West, but since that's already happened to a degree, we're just remaining here to talk to other weebs with bad opinions that align with our own.

They're not bad. They're just the worst VN localization company. MoeNovel has a seriously bad reputation of releasing poor translations with cut h-scenes to Steam just to make quick money without giving any effort to keep the spirit of the original writing. Cross Channel is a notable VN in that it already has 2 translations and both of them are poor due to Cross Channel being a uniquely hard VN to translate. Add those two together and you get the 3rd butchering of Cross Channel.

Well, it seems like Cross Channel is cursed like Mahoyo, but all the translations get finished and they're all bad.

Isn't the information that they got 4 different translators to translate different areas of the script without having read the VN itself and then not having the translators communicate at all throughout the process a sign that this probably won't turn out well already. I get an optimistic outlook for companies like NekoNyan and Sol Press, but not for MoeNovel, especially with the current information we have available. I'm predicting an upcoming disaster and if it all goes well, then that's great, but I can't be optimistic about this.

Exactly. We can never actually hope for a good translation from MoeNovel.
