Any OELVN. Especially those with japanese names in title and honorifics in text. Scary as hell. Or you can try Corpse Party games. Though some of them have simple gameplay mechanics, and Book of shadows is VN.

Oh, right, I mean locale. Also, some games need Japanese time zone. Like Natsuiro Recipe or games from Atelier Kaguya, so you should keep that in mind when problem occurs. Edited version of Chrono Clock has that problem.

Just set your system language to Japanese and reinstall the game. Local emulation is always troublesome.

As I remember, there's still lines in text and voice's that came from all-age version. Does it count as not fixed? Sure, it would be hard to find them all, not to mention to retranslate them, but I think this should count as bug in 18+ version.

I know why they do this. But this is stupid. Almost all jrpg has names with meaning. But we are talking about real names. It is like trying to translate Aurelia = Gold = Goldy (or any other non-japanese names) because character has golden hair. Because honorific haters lost yet again. They are just too hard-nosed to accept the truth. Of course they would tell us that this poll doesn't matter.

As it was already said, Subahibi doesn't look appealing for typical vn consumer with themes like bestiality or futa. Not to mention lack of self-insert possibilities. So 2k is decent number.

And that's most of tl nowadays, especially from Sekai or Nisa. Dal segno was a triple disaster. For one sentences honorific was there, but in second one SAME honorific was replaced by adaptation or just cut out. Or Ys VIII without honorifics:

Honorifics should be untouched, otherwise, it's hard to adapt most part of it without butchering original meaning, especially in a situation when people moving from one honorific to another one or even try to speak without them (like love couple). Not to mention honorifics jokes that almost all moege has. Although, I don't mind adaptation of some honorifics like -dono or -hime, because they can be easily adapted without losing anything. Also, there is the special place in hell for those who swap first and last names in text, or trying to translate names (like Pyra - Homura). Btw, when japanese translating from english - did they add honorifics?

To make it worse, Sony and Nintendo can't allow explicit vn's on their systems. Also characters has verified age (almost all of them ~15 year old), so it is impossible even on PC, except things like Golden Time. Three unbreakable walls... This world is too cruel.

Almost all consoles animege like ToLove-Ru, KonoSuba, Nisekoi, OreImo, Haganai and etc. With original VA from anime H-scenes would be really cool addition.

This game is badly optimized (Unity engine...). I have similar problem (5 sec loading menu and battles), though I already finished the game.

I would say Sadistic or Femdom as personality are always a big NO for me. But not that much as Idol, Ghost and Spirit (like in Fate series) archetypes. They always come with same freaking drama mostly without good end (except Idols, but this archetype are worst as it is...).

My most awkward thing to happen with me while reading a VN is lack of any chances of awkward things to happen.
