I think routes are fundamental to most VNs, it's what make them special, "If I choose this, what happens?". In anime and manga that has several target characters they often just publish the "most important one" or true route. But different viewers/readers like different characters and would choose differently. That's where VNs with routes stand out. And as a bonus you can get unlockable routes where it's done right, where the VN is like a ball of yarn, or a matryoshka. You learn more and more, until you finally understand it all.

I don't have any big problems with that, but I can't stand ero-scenes before the character is properly introduced. I think Grisaia is OK on that aspect, it has late branching into the routes.

I would recommend Grisaia no Kajitsu, as it has a deep protagonist, great arcs and unforgettable puns.

I don't get the fascination with asses... so I guess I'm a boob voter, but I prefer them small and cute. But remember character is the important thing. And lolis are awesome in 2D.

My general idea (it might be wrong) is they drink mostly green domestic tea, and they have this powder instead of tea-bags or tea-strainer. I know they like the Chinese call black tea red 紅茶 and I think I'll have to agree with them that red is more describing of the liquid. Btw as I'm currently in another tea-country, Russia I've noticed their habits, they drink tea in glasses, tea-bags seem to dominate and they prefer fruity teas. My impression until now.

My experience with full-animated (think School Days) VN are that they have to cut corners somewhere to make the product, and often that "corner" is storytelling. One example is Qualiaffordance it's the type example of a VN where they focus on animation, but it falls like a a ton of bricks because the story is in short rushed. Well in the case of School Days they actually achieved some story, and then it's a matter of taste if you like or dislike it.

Okey, Kanon 2002 anime wasn't really famous for it's perfect proportions, but this is horrible, yeah, it's not far away from the 02 anime but still... ga~ah Well my photo-editing skills aren't that high but I generated one kyuun (why are they called that by the way?) please do explain. I guess I skip them if they aren't that good and they keep doing the same OP for the sixth time. Otherwise I watch it, and I always turn of those at top and at bottom subs on it if it's good quality, it gets in the way. EDs I skip more often but there are exceptions. OPs are quite good to test that the computer/other device manages to play that quality without framedrops.

I actually drop the hard w-sound when I pronounce it, must be wrong. Tried IPA-ing my (probably horrible) pronunciation: fʉːanɔvɛl

I live in a 22 m2 student apartment in a well-off suburb to Stockholm, Sweden. When I look out I see two red semi-detached houses a gravelled walkway and woods beyond that.
