Yikes, shit. Good luck. Running through my thoughts the closest I can find to happy-go-lucky would be Proteus, maybe Saints Row if you stretch the definition. Pure comedy games aren't very common. Cherry Tree High Comedy Club is a sort of adventure game with a standard VN/anime aesthetic. Maybe something like Rayman Legends if you don't mind buying a Ubisoft game oh god the horror it's eating my soul. Stanley Parable isn't quite cute/funny but it's quite humorous and one of the more intelligent games out there. Would I am Bread count? Lastly I'll throw Antichamber out there as well - it's far from happy-go-lucky but it's minimalist and confusing in a way that pulls you in quite well. It can help - that, and it's currently on a steam sale for 2$, 21 hours remaining. Maybe this will do? Perhaps? All of these are on Steam but since you live in Japan I can't guarantee they aren't region-locked in some form. Just take that note.

So, I took a nap after Microsoft's E3 Conference (Okay, I will admit it's better than I was expecting) but slept through EA's run. Are their and Ubisoft's conferences worth looking at ASAP or are they more or less just the same stuff as usual? I also heard there was a PC specific one somewhere, though I'm not seeing it on the youtube schedule. What of Nintendo's video thingy as well?

Torrents are becoming less popular as localization becomes more frequent, though we're not at a point where they're completely unnecessary now. I would take the chance to act like a cryptic badass regarding them with fancy riddles, but it's 4 AM and I can't tell if that would be outside the existing ruleset. Maybe another time. I might have the opposite-opposite problem of relationships, actually. There's so many things to keep in balance that you're bound to find something you don't have much experience in.

I didn't find Valkyria Chronicles too difficult TBH, though I was playing it on the PS3. I have it on PC but haven't gotten very far yet.

As glorious news as this is, I have to say Bethesda won this this year. I haven't felt that much hype since my first time playing Persona 3. Like, holy fucking shit that was amazing. Once all the expansions are released, yes, they're certainly worth it. At 12$ for all the expansions/DLC it might as well be a steal. Beyond Earth on other hand is considered a step down, so I would avoid it. Grab Civ V's complete edition if you can. After that, go onto the workshop and grab every anime mod you can find. There's a lot of them and it'll make the game much more interesting. Just note that sometimes the mods will have trouble getting read, I have a few that are having that problem on my end and it's too confusing for me to fix ><;; But yes, Civ V is definitely worth the sale price.

I've never been drunk, but I feel like instead of losing control, it's 'trying to drive with one broken arm and a blindfold.' The self-control still exists but it's much more difficult to manage reasonably. You haven't lost it, at least in theory.

Closest thing I've come to 'drunk' would just have to be those 'staying up super late' or 'I just woke up' moments when everything seems a bit dazed. Don't know how it compares to actual drunk-ness, though. It turns into a bit of a running joke on my end, if I remember correctly Real alcohol smells far too strong for me to consider trying it, personally. Though I feel like the taste/smell might not be the reason why people drink in the first place xD.
