What other kinds of malware could be inside the torrents? What types of viruses could be there? Are there any other types of things to be careful of? How do we know what the equivalent installer file is? Will the autorun try to activate again after the initial download?

I'm just one who really wants to understand the situation/details before jumping in like this.

Do you care if I ask exactly which one the autorun is? I want to be more certain. How do you identify the autorun file? Is the autorun best uninstalled once the torrent download has been completed? What should I do in the event of an infection?

How do we tell if the autoruns are affected with Malware? Avoiding the viruses is one of the major reasons why I'd rather be able to use Fuwa above other stuff. Is there any more information on how to avoid them?

Hey, are there any good Nakige in particular? Aside from Key's stuff I'm having a hard time figuring out what generally qualifies. Should I grab Air and Kanon before they go off as well? Tomoyo After too, probably? What about non-Key stuff?

The torrents won't be down until March 1st. Part of me wants to assume it depends on the seeding. Assuming there isn't some 'hard-removal' on Nyaa or something, chances are Fuwa's just going to stop seeding the torrent once the move is finalized. If there aren't any seeders aside from them, you probably won't be able to finish the download on that end. But I don't know the absolute details myself, could just be that they go dead from some torrent management page on Nyaa.

What should we do in terms of the torrents? I know Katawa Shoujo will probably be our go-to since the rest are heading offline, but this still doesn't leave us with much leeway in finding something closer to the mentee's tastes. It's especially an issue for someone like me who would prefer not to use google for searching for torrents, since the chances of viruses are so high and the downloads themselves often incredibly risky. This is doubly so when it's the mentee's virus-free-ness being put at risk as well. Would we just get a link to a secure source from a fellow Fuwa member? Or is sticking with KS and keeping an eye out for steam sales all we can do until things start to pick up more? Does anybody have advice in this regard?

We realize that, but google also has the possibility of running into malware. So some of us would rather avoid using it when possible for torrent-related things.

Ah, fair enough. Wasn't aware of that myself. Wasn't too familiar with the Kikokugai situation, so I guess I just went with the most readily available possibility. My apologies ><

Connection issues. The forums seem to be refusing to get a connection on random intervals. They'll stop connecting all of a sudden ('did not get a response from the server' or something similar) and then they'll start working for a bit but then they might go down again. I haven't gotten an estimate for the length of connection loss, nor do I know how often it occurs, but according to Skype it seems some other people connect just fine while I'm having the issue. In case location is required, I'm over in California, USA. Vallejo in particular.

Could we get a more concrete idea of the prize before I blow all of you out of the water?
