  2. So, a while back I downloaded Sengoku Rance in addition to a few other games I had on my list. Despite my initial concerns of it being the 'rape as character development' game I had heard it was, holy fuck I was not expecting it to be this good. I'm usually one of the anti-sex scene people and even I can say it was more well-done than most games on that front. After looking through Fuwa a bit more, the number of games there seems to be...limited, at best, in addition to being a lot older graphically than Sengoku Rance. Which ones are translated? Among those, which ones are worth playing? Which ones are most recent, and if there are translated ones unavailable on Fuwa, is there a specific reason they aren't? Regrettably, I'm not very familiar with the franchise at all, which is why I turn to you, fellow Forum-folk. Would anyone be willing to assist me?
  3. Eventually. Maybe, maybe not. I don't know for sure. I heard it's a Wassociation secret.
  4. Everyone gets a similar form of immunity when they win. For the time being, we can claim victory. We're in no rush for this thread in particular, though we shouldn't simply back out of the others if it's something we excel at.
  5. My estimation says February 18th.
  6. They already won before we started. There may be some thread VS thread stuff later down the road, but for now there's just been simple 'fight for your life!' challenges on a solo basis.
  7. You mean the crisis before ours? That would be the Desktop thread. They survived. The crisis threads themselves are all still existing in the Arena of Death board.
  8. Remember to read the text carefully. They're going to challenge us again when the protection runs out. Furthermore, it's going to involve our recent story in some way regardless, maybe we have to write a sequel of some kind down the road. That said, after going through that I feel like the experience has made us stronger. (Or at least, me.) Next time will go smoother, as long as we don't get rusty.
  9. As someone who has it, I'm actually convinced that Rin is the most honest depiction of actual autism in modern media. It's certainly much more accurate than the 'ultimate super-genius' stereotype media tends to give us, or the 'Aw, the poor autistic people!' that people looking for donations tends to bring. In all honesty, it's closer to being socially challenged than anything closer to a real lack of intelligence. She might actually be the smartest in the whole game, depending on your definition. It's basically the exact opposite of Michiru's lack of intelligence (Though I haven't finished Grisaia myself.). May or may not be what you're looking for.
  10. That's still 1,000. You only have 121 posts, so that's only 1/160th at most.
  11. Thanks for the update. I'll admit it was a bit vague in terms of how specific the history had to be, especially since adapting what's technically a collection of sparse arguments into a fantasy epic (Or as epic as you can get in such a short story) is already an immense task in and of itself. I can understand if they're having a hard time making a decision. That said, glad to see you consider it positively. It's most likely far beyond what they were expecting, but given the limitations I think it turned out quite well from a story perspective. If you get a chance to read it yourself (Understandably it's much longer than the original goal) feel free to let me know what you think yourself I'll be PMing you feedback on the crisis in due time - it was certainly an enjoyable experience but things could use some fine-tuning.
  12. So...I'm back. No update so far Q_Q
  13. Tay doesn't seem to be online, so judgement is being postponed. It's almost been 24 hours since the original deadline. That said, I'm pretty sure we'll be safe. In all honesty we were unsure of the exact specifics on how accurate it had to be in the first place, but considering that the opening tone was in a fantasy style regardless I'd say that they expected it to be somewhat inaccurate regardless. Otherwise the language would've been different.
  14. So, I've been awake the past 36 hours. After saving the day, I need a rest. I will most likely see you all tomorrow. Hopefully Tay will come online to confirm the victory soon enough. I feel like we have a near-guaranteed victory but there's always the possibility someone or another will try and pull something on the senator's side, depending on how severe the vagueness of the rules caused us to head into other directions. But, I need to rest. Good day!
  15. Sounds good. Let me know what you think.
  16. Actually, I finished the crisis about 10 minutes after you posted this. You can read the whole thing on the actual crisis thread if you want.
