  1. A quite note about Muv-Luv, the first two games in the series aren't considered too good, though the third is absolutely worth its praise. (I'm only on the first myself ><) Just letting you know that getting overhyped right out of the gate probably isn't the best choice, let it mellow out a bit before jumping in. Most of it's all for the third one. Just a heads-up~
  2. Makes sense, I suppose. Actually, I'd like to ask if this is the same with Comyu as well - it seems to be the case that on a second playthrough, skip doesn't automatically stop when encountering new scenes on additional playthroughs. This has made progressing in that one difficult, as I'm stuck with either reading through the common route line by line, which is far too much old content for me to be able to get through, or skipping anyway and missing the new content added after the first run. If they're still skipping because the game thinks they've been read once before, it would make sense. Though should I make this a new thread instead?
  3. It might be, though I can't tell if I exited through the main menu last time or not. I will continue tests. -- Still nothing.
  4. My original would have to be the same, namely 赫炎のインガノックFVR, copied exactly from the .exe That said, I have it shortcut to my desktop, with that being named Sekien no Inganock. The name on the top of the window states Sekien no Inganock FVR - Inganock of the Brightest Flame.
  5. Did you get it after the patch was uploaded to the main site? I heard the first torrent* Kendjin uploaded had some issues. Are you sure you're using the most recent version? *Of course, I'm referring to the troubleshooting thread posted before going to the main site. The main site one doesn't seem to have too many issues, though I haven't progressed past the first two lines myself.
  6. I believe I did, though I may have simply troubleshot it wrong. I shall try a second time, though an actual shortcut would still be nice. -- Confirmation complete. Even when exiting while in fullscreen, the game does not default to it.
  7. This is a bit nitpicky on my end, but I'm having a hard time setting Sekien no Ignanock to fullscreen through a shortcut, as most use Alt+enter or the F key in a few cases. This is generally because I want to watch the opening in fullscreen, and the game does not open in fullscreen. Thus I am unable to set to fullscreen until after the opening has passed. I know I'm being very nitpicky about this, so apologies Doesn't seem like too high-priority of an issue >< And yes, I did run through the Readme and any additional info that might be available on Fuwa. Wasn't able to find anything.
  8. Never played Remember11, but 999 is at least semi-tame. The majority of the blood and whatnot is actually done through text as opposed to imagery, so it should be alright. So basically, yes. It should be fine.
  9. Simply put, after much delay I've finally finished the first route of Comyu. Being in the long midgame of routes 2-4 now, I have need of some advice. Simply put, I'm worried about content added in after the first playthrough. I've encountered this in Little Busters! thus far, but with that I was able to simply skip all the unread text, which despite there being an option in the menu for it, seems to not be working. Therefore, I'm worried about skipping through unread text because I might miss something added in, but at the same time reading through it all manually would just cause me to get bored and stop playing, which I would like to avoid. Do you have any tips for this game specifically, or anything that can be used in multiple titles?
  10. So, I've had Shikkoku downloaded for quite a long time now, though it's currently sitting in the backlog as I've yet to open it. I came across a youtube comment today claiming Sekien was in the same series as it, and I'm wondering if playing Sekien is required to understand Shikkoku. I'd also like more information on the relation between the two, if possible.
  11. I see. Considering I actually thought Lucia's was one of the better ones of the group, it feels good knowing he wrote it :3
  12. So, I've recently finished Rewrite. Yay! That said, during the credits I noted references to 07th Expansion being listed. I'm not really sure how they were involved, but does anyone have information on this?
  13. Just popping in for a moment - it's not an issue of a limited library, it's isolating the issue. If it's only limited to a specific engine, then we're better able to find the solution. Just feel like there's a minor miscommunication here, and hopefully I can clear that up. *fades back into obscurity*
  14. I'm going to have to recommend Rewrite as well - it's quite the treat, although I'm not sure if the protagonist is quite to your liking. Aside from that, there's also Umineko, a personal favorite and essentially the cover game for "What the f*ck" in VNs from my perspective, in addition to being quite entertaining and thought-out on a number of levels. There's bound to be someone you'll relate with.

  16. I'm not reading any of the thread to avoid spoilers. Note that this is based on the anime, up to halfway through episode 3. In all honesty, I'm finding it competently executed, but it's a bit close to the norm for my personal tastes. In the bluntest way, it's like an above-average shonen with nothing particularly bad about it, yet it doesn't really excel at anything either. The action is quite compelling, and certainly serves to entertain, but the characters' are a bit too cliche' and a majority of the backstory is just told through an exposition that would've been better off removed entirely, if the creators were unable to find a more elegant solution of communicating them. Chances are it'll probably 'pick up' sometime later, but often times unless the coming enhancements are something the level of say, Muv-Luv to Muv-Luv Alternative, I'm not sure how important it is to keep going.
  17. The answer is clearly the first one - it's the only option where you can blame it on the dog. Then again, the dog would have to be quite strong. Would you rather... --Be trapped in the worst part of your own fiction. (Worst as in the worst setting, not quality of the writing or a boring scene.) --Go insane and believe your fiction is reality.
  18. Happy birthday, Anik--- ... WAIT. SOMETHING'S NOT RIGHT HERE...
  19. *fireworks* LET US CELEBRATE! And yes, Batman - you can go watch Hidamari Sketch now.
  20. Take the hat for yourself and run off like a condescending asshole. You'll need it later to get through the area undetected, after all.
  21. My gut tells me you would love Umineko. It's 'licensed' in the way that it's on MangaGamer, but it's also on Fuwa. I'm not really sure how else to advance after that other than a baseless statement that this is very well the holy grail of mystery in terms of VNs. I may be completely wrong, but anyway. Go play it. Excuse me for my temporary lack of communication abilities.
  22. Survey completed. Awaiting results. Good luck. El Psy Congroo.
