After watching episode 13 of Yamato 2199, I went back and restarted the series to watch it alongside a buddy of mine. Also started on Shougeki no Soma. This looks like it'll be fun.

Wrapped up Asuho's route today. Kinda felt too short, though it probably didn't help I split it up over 3 sessions. It kinda felt like things were wrapped up too quickly, but that's better than having it dragged out. The two dilemmas in her route... Overall decent route and I ended up really liking Asuho's character. Her dere is just too strong.

Yeah, that's indicative of how a lot of the drama plays out in that VN. A lot of the dramatic situations are just so terribly contrived and nonsensical. I actually rather liked the little arc Konomi has in the common route though.

Okay, okay. Episode 13 of Yamato 2199... Dimensional submarine. Dimensional. Fucking. Submarine. This show makes me feel like a kid again, I'm so in love.

Ended up getting caught up on Hestia. Fun show. The fight scene with the minotaur was well-executed and really good, quite unexpectedly so. I also like how Bell's attire is constantly changing. It's a nice touch to the whole "adventurer" thing. Still watching about and episode of Yamato 2199 a day. On episode 12 now.

I'm not a part of the fakku userbase, so this change doesn't really affect me in the immediate sense. I'll be interested in seeing how this turns out though. I'd wager they'd go the doujin-moe route of things, alongside selling physical prints of stuff. I wonder how fast they'll be able to release new content with whatever model they adopt. I'm a pretty voracious reader when it comes to translated stuff, grabbing up most of the new stuff that gets added to sadpanda daily. I kinda don't expect this to have any impact at all, besides fragmenting the community.
