    Highly recommended. Easily my favorite monster hunting game. The story is nice and the presentation is phenomenal. I bought the original version on launch and picked up Delta some time after it came out. Delta has enough content that I didn't feel bad about buying it twice, so I'd totally say its worth the price tag for Delta alone.

    If you're looking for translated titles with Hikikomori protagonists, I'm afraid the pickings are quite slim. A similar thread was made here. Here's a link to vndb for the Otaku Protagonist tag, filtered by English translations. The same, but for the Hikikomori Protagonist tag. As for personal recommendations, I think S;G might be a safe bet if you're looking to get inside the head of a deranged character.

    Oh boy, and I just finished a 7.7 gig torrent for it.

    You can "bump" them to have them land on the side of the dice you desire. There is also an auto-bump for spells, which are also done through dice rolls. Doing so has its own penalties, such as resetting the spirit you've already earned, but comes with buffs to subsequent die rolls and other benefits. It's kinda hard to explain, tbh. It's more than just RNG though. I haven't worked out the nuances of it yet.
