  1. Welcome to the forums, it's good to have you.
  2. Very nice work. I really like this one.
  3. Actually, for reals, starting on Kikokugai like right now. For reals. I am so bad at starting VNs when I intend to.
  4. I never called an all-ages edition a full release. I said I don't really see a problem with them as long as they're released beside a complete edition of a game. I get why most people (myself included) prefer to play the 18+ version, but I also don't care if other people have their reasons for wanting not to. Doesn't affect me in the least if there are two versions of the game, provided one of them is an uncensored release. Wanting to play some porn games is what originally brought me to visual novels, however I get that other people have a distaste for them for a variety of reasons. That's beside the point I was trying to make though, that the option of an all-ages version of a game doesn't really hurt a thing from a consumer's standpoint. I don't really like all these "seems" and 'probabilities," but that sounds like good news. It'll be good to hear something more concrete, though.
  5. I really like the top one myself.
  6. There are people out there who play them actually, a couple of which I can think of on this very forum. I personally don't have a fundamental issue with all-ages editions myself and don't see any valid reason to, given that we are also provided with the option of an 18+ full release. In fact, I'd say more options as a consumer is a good thing (admittedly, you can make an argument against this).
  7. Welcome to the community. I hope to continue to see you around the forums.
  8. Looks like you have ample volunteers, but I'd help if you want me to.
  9. I wouldn't declare this a sunk ship yet. Obviously we'll have to wait for more specific details about what they're going to do regarding the 18+ version. If they're able to fulfill the conditions sanahtlig mentioned, I'll still be looking to help kick start it.
  10. This is just speculation on my part, but I wonder if that is even an option. Maybe having a patch (instead of a separate 18+ product all together) would be against whatever terms they have with Frontwing regarding the licensing?
  11. Welcome to the forums, Vario.
  12. If this isn't regarded as an earnest submission, I'll riot. RIOT.
  13. I'll be definitely picking this up. Raising sims are a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine.
  14. I don't see any actual harm in it. I rather like the Amane and Yumiko ones myself, I think they're sufficiently expressive enough that they'll get used. Obviously it'll be good to get some for other VNs too, though. EDIT: Just did this: , but it's kinda too small I think.
  15. I could see the uses for it.

    Hearthstone

I really like Glavezooka. Really great card if you're going first and have a one drop. I've been doing a lot shittier in arena then I used to since GvG came out, which is strange since a lot of constructed-only oriented players are queuing up right now.
  17. The soundtrack nostalgia for that game is only trumped by THPS2. EDIT: Disregard me, I'm dumb. I read that as NFS Underground for some reason. For some reason.

  19. I'm with Nosebleed that having VN themed emoticons would be a really cool addition to the forum. I played around with making a Michiru (Grisaia) emoticon, but it turned out shit. I'll continue to mess around with it, but I hope other people will give creating some VN-themed ones a shot too.
  20. Just realized I hadn't posted to this thread. Considered me interested.
  21. Welcome to the Fuwanovel community, Claus. I hope to see you around on the forums.
  22. If you enjoyed G-senjou, Sharin no Kuni would be a safe bet. Additionally, one of the heroine's mother plays an actual role in the story. One of the endings is a harem ending, but you can just not read that. Deardrops, the protagonist is past highschool age and the bassist of the group is a middle-aged, hard living man. Grisaia no Kajitsu has a good share of adult characters, with them being the source of a lot of the conflict in the routes.
  23. Pretty much what Nosebleed said. Kinetic novels are kinetic novels, they are both different ways to deliver a story. Whether or not they're good or bad depends on the content. To make a comparison, I don't watch many short films (because the format doesn't hold my attention as strongly as feature length films do), but I recognize there's a lot of great, thought-provoking ones. The bad endings are the only reason to play School Days, in my opinion. And only if you haven't been tipped off about them too.
  24. Welcome to the forums, Sirius. I hope you'll continue to enjoy the community here.
