  1. While I admit things got out of control in terms of people's reactions, it wasn't just the ero scene removal people were upset about. From what I hear story segments were also cut and MN went so far as to cut kissing scenes; bit of an odd choice to do to a romance story.
  2. I'd definitely reccomend Kyonyuu Fantasy (and feel free to check out the rest of the series if you end up liking this): http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/import-games-for-adults-kyonyuu-fantasy.html Another good one for beginners to importing eroge is Magical Witch Academy: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/import-games-for-adults-magical-witch.html
  3. Da Capo 2's good if you don't mind something light on the supernatural. http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/games-for-adults-da-capo-2.html Edelweiss is good though you're going to have to endure the first two hours or so: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/games-for-adults-edelweiss.html If you want something with action then look no further than Demonbane: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/games-for-adults-deus-machina-demonbane.html If you have a PSP, Vita, or 3DS then I reccomend Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom/Memories of the Shinsengumi: http://www.blisteredthumbs.net/2012/05/hakuoki-community-review/ Though if you have a PS3 then I reccomend waiting for the upcoming PS3 port's localization which contains not just the main game, but also the fandisk: http://www.aksysgames.com/2013/10/22/stories-of-shinsengumi-brings-new-life-to-hakuoki-series/ http://hakuoki.com/stories/LP/ While no release date has been officially announced, I've heard it's supposed to come out in April next year
  4. For my final review for this year's Halloween, here's a review of Saya no Uta: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/10/games-for-adults-halloween-saya-no-uta.html
  5. For my next review for this year's Halloween, here's a review of Insai no Shima: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/10/import-games-for-adults-halloween-insai.html
  6. Just finished the first chapter and I have to say it was a really good introduction. You might even say things start off with a bang, lol
  7. I downloaded a copy of A-1; For some reason the crack it came with isn't working. I moved the mka-1.exe file to the folder after installing the game and when I try to run it all that happens is the window appears for less than a second and automatically closes. Does anyone know what I need to do?
  8. For the next entry in my Halloween reviews for this year here's a look at a little sci-fi horror with Injuu Kagoku: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/10/import-games-for-adults-injuu-kangoku.html
  9. Have you tried asking the guys at Wairu Translations? http://wairu.blogspot.com/
  10. It's either because I loved the game or because I enjoyed it enough to reccomend even if it has noticeable flaws.
  11. Grisaia if you want a good diverse plot and Higurashi if you want a good linear plot. As for Little Busters, you might want to wait until the fanlation team finishes translating the upgraded version.
  12. For the next of my Halloween reviews here's a review for Shinsetsu Ryouki no Ori Dai 2 Shou: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/10/import-games-for-adults-halloween_17.html And in case anyone's curious, here's my review of the first game: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/05/import-games-for-adults-shinsetsu.html
  13. Have it and have played some of it; cleared Yukino's route, played some of Irina's route but couldn't really get into it so switched over to and I'm sure I'm near the end of Ran's route. Planning on getting back to it once I clear my backlog a little more since I really want to play Elle's route. The one main thing that's gotten me to be on and off in playing this game is Remi. Words cannot describe how much I hate that annoying pink piece of junk.
  14. For the next entry in this year's Halloween reviews, I am wrapping up the Kansen series with Ball Buster... http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/10/import-games-for-adults-halloween_10.html ...and I think I now know how Charlie Brown felt upon getting a rock instead of Halloween candy...
  15. Tsuzuriko of Kara no Shoujo.
  16. Well, in the first of my reviews to celebrate this year's Halloween, here's a review of Kansen 5: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogsp ... oween.html For those of you who would like to see my thoughts on the previous games, here are the links: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/import-games-for-adults-halloween.html http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/import-games-for-adults-halloween_27.html http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/import-games-for-adults-halloween_28.html http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/02/import-games-for-adults-kansen-4-day.html
  17. Miki Anzai of Kansen 2 ~Inzai Toshi~ and Satou Murakami of Kansen 5 ~The Daybreak~
  18. Made a mistake with the Hakuoki reccomendation, I meant Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom
  19. Well, for the DS there's the Phoenix Wright games and 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors (the latter being from the creators of the Infinity series). For the PSP there's Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, Sweet Fuse: At Your Side, Growlanser IV: Wayfarer of Time (this one may or may not be above your length limit). For the PS3, there's the Blazblue games.
  20. With only a couple hours left for the kickstarter I gave some money to back it. It's currently a little over 300 away from its next stretch goal, which is for more fight scenes and a level up system. Hope it hits that, but it's a shame the ero scene stretch goal is unlikely to be hit
  21. Does it have to be PC only or would you like me to suggest ones avalable on consoles?
  22. My first visual novel...that's actually a tricky question to answer. The first game I played that introduced me to the concept would be Vanguard Bandits (Epica Stella in Japan) with it having routes for three of the heroines, though technically it's more of a strategy RPG than a VN. Perhaps a closer game to consider my first would be Zone of the Enders: Fist of Mars, Growlanser 2 and 3, or Inuyasha: Secret of the Cursed Mask (I can't remember which of those I played first), even though those are hybrid VNs as well. As for my first pure VN, that would be Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. All in all I'd say those games got me into the genre because of their character focus and because I liked the idea of seeing more than one story or ending to a game.
  23. Here's hoping you can work something out with TakaJun to bring us the long awaited Miyako route and hopefully the Agave route.
