Just finished Momoyo's After Story in Majikoi S. Decent overall, much like the rest of them; out of all the after stories in S I'd say the best one I've played so far is Chris' mainly because that has funnier moments. I must say though what feeling of accomplishment I have from hearing that nice ED music and seeing the "clear" stamp appear was completely overshadowed by seeing Miyako's After Story not cleared and knowing I still have to wait.

Chain The Lost Footprints fits everything but the route requirement since it's a linear story, but a very good one. Plus it's only 15 bucks.

I can say thanks to untranslated ero scenes I was able to learn the kanji for "inside", "mouth" and "enter" (and the latter two together make "entrance") fairly quickly

The hiatus has been over for about a week now with Mayuki's route about 83% translated as of the last update which was a couple days ago

Off the top of my head: Infinite Stratos Love Hina (because we'd probably pick a better heroine than the actual series did) Great Teacher Onizuka High School of the Dead Rozen Maiden Outlaw Star Spaceship Agga Ruter (at least this way the plot for the sadly unfinished OVA had could be finished) Masquerade/Gosenzo San'e (because something should retcon that awful sequel) Lady Innocent/Front Innocent (because aside from needing conclusion, considering how much hentai artwork Satoshi Urushihara's done I'm genuinely surprised he hasn't drawn for an eroge)

I think I'll keep my fingers crossed that Miyako's route will be translated by the time Avengers 2 is out. Speaking of which (and the real reason I set that bet date), anyone with comic book knowledge know if it were Miyako vs Hawkeye in an archery match who'd win?

The only game I can think of that fits most of your requirements is Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru if you want a good slice of life scene filled kind of game.

The only VN adaptation of an anime I've played is Code Geass: Lost Colors, and I'll admit some of the possible endings were better than how the anime ended so that's at least one point VN adaptations' favor.

Ultimate harem route perhaps?

So how much of the anime do I need to watch to enjoy the game? BTW, never really stopped to think about it while playing Konosora but after looking at the OPs profile pic does anyone besides me think Kotori and Kuroneko look alot alike?

Last night I finished Ran's route for Osadai. A good route overall, was even surprised that near the end I actually almost cared about Remi; too bad that subplot was too short. Started Putina's route though the slow start and melodrama is pretty off putting, here's hoping this route turns out as good as people raved about. Today I just finished Maki's route for Tsujidou-san no Junai Road and I can say I enjoyed it though I will admit the constant foreshadowing did get annoying as the route went on. I am glad the reveal they made at the end was used nice and simple (kinda cute too ) plus it has me curious if it'll come up in the after story in the fandisk.

*raises hand* Though in hindsight I probably shouldn't have been too surprised since if you ever needed an example for Murphy's Law concerning route translation there are none better than Miyako's

Been playing Maki's route for Tsujidou-san no Junai Road now. The backstory reveals on Hiroshi's end have been interesting, plus Maki's been a pretty funny character so far; first time I've seen a conversation between characters entirely in emoticons...and apparently you can have a phone conversation in emoticons too without even texting

If you have a 3DS or 2DS I recommend the Zero Escape games, starting with 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (it's a DS game) followed by Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. The latter is available on Vita, but you really shouldn't miss 999.

I like JAST kind of out of a combination of nostalgia and the good games they release are worth playing. On the other hand though their slow release schedule (I honestly think we'll have all seen Avengers 3 on DVD by the time Seinarukana releases) doesn't do them many favors in my eyes. I like Mangagamer better since they have a pretty solid release lineup every year and the fact that they're a lot more open with their customers than JAST helps too. I also like MG kind of has a "can do" attitude about their localizations which kind of helps give them an image as the company to look to for potential localizations of an eroge you really like *coughKyonyuuFantasyseries*; JAST has more of an image of "appreciate whatever they can release" which was fine a decade ago but now...

There's a couple scenes I came across in Rena's route from Tsujidou-san no Junai Road that fit the bill
