If you're having trouble with the images, why don't you just put the translated ones on a folder instead of trying to insert them? Like in the Altered Fable partial patch. -

Yeah, but eroge is a catch-all term; MLA, F/SN, Kara no Shoujo and Maiden Rape Assault: Violent Semen Inferno (real title, http://vndb.org/v1292) are eroges.

In my case, I like the voices. I don't think a VN has to have voices, Ryukishi's stuff does fine without 'em, but when they're good it always helps bring characters to life.

Finished MLA:Chronicles, The Day After 03 with ITH and Translator Aggregator... never again. Haiburu was kinda readable, though.

Just finished Analogue: A Hate Story. Always nice to play something very different for a change of pace, reminded me of the parts in Assassins Creed 2 where you're trying to put together the big "secret." I'd say it was good, even if the writing was pretty heavy-handed at times, and after a certain reveal, I couldn't muster any sympathy whatsoever towards

Well, you *don't* need to read extra, not really. It might help with context, but you'll get the necessary info from flashbacks and dialogue in MLU and MLA anyway. MLU, however, is not bad at all and it's required to read Alternative.

Obviously the good stuff is going to be longer, harder or both, so don't worry that much about quality, after all, it's just to try and read something. Anyways, I guess I'll try Tayutama even though I really, really don't like moeges (it's Tayutama - Kiss on my deity - right? There's 2 of 'em on vndb), thanks for the recomendation!

I'll give it a shot, but my japanese still needs a lot of work. Genre: Don't care. Linguistic level: 4 Stimulus preferred: Again, don't care. What is your list of no-nos?: Eh, I probably can laugh at anything, so nothing, I guess. Other: Must be short (2-10 hours tops), since it's gonna be my first VN in Japanese.

Yeah, but at least in FF14's case that's probably due to Xbox Live. 13 and 13-2 came out for the 360, and so will 13-3. Moreover, Vs... whoops, 15 has been in development since god knows when, and it's easier to recoup costs going multiplatform.

Playing... Terranigma. Too bad it wasn't released in America, it's probably one of the best SNES games. Oh, and there's no way FF is going exclusive next (this?) gen.

Maybe, but FFT was not a numbered FF, and also was Matsuno being told to do Tactics Ogre with Chocobos, and he did, and it was great. But plot wise, it was a lot more obvious who you were supposed to root for in FFT than FFXII, except maybe for Delita.
