I whaled and failed a few days ago, didn't get my Illya but I got more Medea Lolis, a Stheno, and I freaking finally got a K-scope (which is kinda appropriate given the event), so I guess the money wasn't completely wasted. I was going to use the one log-in bonus ticket I got yesterday, plus whale one last time, but yesterday was Medb rate-up so I waited until today. Just got back from work, prepared myself to yorokobe, used my 1 ticket without expecting much, BUT THEN Edit:

I've only read a tiny bit of it so far (because I read very slowly - I need to look up basically every kanji), so I'll probably be stuck reading this for a while.

Confession: I took part in a programming contest today, and I could have solved all 4 problems, but I focused on the hardest one so much I didn't have enough time to solve the second-hardest (which was pretty easy), and because I'm dumb and I ignored the solution that was staring me in the face I didn't solve the hardest one either... I then solved both 20 minutes into my bus ride home.

Confession: Had my first proper Japanese class at uni today, for some strange reason they started with katakana before hiragana, supposedly so that we could write our names ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Confession 2: On my way from the class, I noticed something I'd noticed a couple of other times before. If I pause my music midway through a song (for example before class starts) then later, even if I don't check my phone or consciously remember the song that I was listening to, if I start humming a song in my head it will most likely be the song that was playing before I stopped.
