Hey everybody, We're still building the VN Reviews hub (reviews.fuwanovel.net), and we're starting to get community-submitted reviews. I need one or two editors who are willing to give ~30mins to an hour a week looking over submitted reviews before they go live on the community stream. Let's all hunker down until Ren and Nose clear this up. Very possible this was an accidental launch. Or my fault.

Nosebleed and Ren have been putting a lot of work into making it as equitable and positive as possible, and they've paid a lot of attention to all the feedback/thoughts you've shared. Not sure if this was an accidental reveal or not, but you can already see that a lot of care has gone into the new system, and they should be proud of their work. Thanks, guys!

As far as I am aware, this wasn't me. If you'd prefer it go offline a little longer Nose/Ren, you should be able to flip the switch in the ACP.

Thanks for all the helpful feedback! You've brought up tons of great points so far. Most of the pain and tears up to this point was getting feeds to work (a commercial aggregator plugin was the ultimate solution) and figuring out how to live in peace with an overzealous skin. I don't think we'll stick with gauge forever, but we're stuck together until the money tree starts growing. I haven't spent too much time on looks, so you guys are sparing me a world of hurt.

Sorry, but I'm afraid there's been a mistake. We have less followers because very few people can stand the raw sex appeal of the Twitter team. The lower follower count is key. We're saving marriages and relationships here, people.

Hey everybody, I've spent a lot of quality time with the reviews site over the last 8 or so days, and I think I'm just about ready to ask for some feedback. It's not perfect (not by a longshot), but I've finally got the behind-the-scenes machinery in place. Please note: Don't fixate on the missing thumbnails or the few non-VN reviews (that's the blogger's doing, not mine, and I just haven't tried to go in and delete them). The Reviews Hub: http://reviews.fuwanovel.net Feedback I could use: Would you use it? Overall, does it "work" for you? How are the menus? Like the layout? How's the functionality? Does having this site make you want to write/post a review?

It's all my fault, actually : P (Nay, the settings are super-awesome-easy: it's the nav menu in IP.Content) I've been trying to figure out the rules for the "More..." box (it's finicky and evil) so it doesn't look horrible on FuwaFabulous. Now that we know it bugs you, however, we can't ever change it. Sorry.

Down, Batman, & Ryechu are the current FuwaReviews team, and agreed to take on the vetting of community-submitted posts. I wrote a "How to get your review published" guide here. You can also find it in the new menu system. Short version: sign up, don't freak out if you get stuck in registration, let a FuwaReviews team member know you're ready to go, they'll change your permissions, you write and format the post and submit it for review, the team publishes it.

New recognition team lead I had a ton of applications for the recognition team lead, and so many of them were absolutely qualified for this job. I'd like to thank all of the applicants for being brave and stepping up to volunteer. I'm pleased to say that Rose will be heading up the team, and we'll be putting out a call for other team members soon. Marie gets another job Marie has been enlisted as the Minority Opinion Officer of Truth and Justice (did we ever come up with a title for you?) (title is a WIP) in the LC. His job is pretty simple: if people in the LC feel their voice is not being heard or appreciated, they can come to him and he and I will have a powwow to go over their input before making a critical site decision (though in the case of an emergency or time constraint, we'll do what we need to do and get together afterwards). Batman goes all tsun and then dere I'm sorry to say that Batman has left the FuwaReviews team. I'm happy to report that Batman has re-joined the FuwaReviews team. Ren is forced to do more Ren has agreed to help me run the LC discussions and keep track of some of the projects around the site. He'll make sure we get project reports and talk about important things in a timely manner. I can't remember if we gave this a title yet (early on it was called speaker of the house, but that's lame). A title will come soon. nohman deserves an applause nohman has decided to retire from the FuwaReviews team. His reviews are some of the most popular on the new site, and I'd like to thank him for doing a great job. (If we took batman back, we'll definitely take you back anytime if you so choose : P) Thanks, nohman, for classing up the joint. Please take a moment to thank nohman for helping build the reviews team into something great, and to wish Rose well in showering you all with love and attention on the Recognition team!
