Finished watching the first season of K-On! and I really enjoyed it. I thought the characters were really adorable and I dunno I really enjoyed their friendship The whole hitting Ritsu over the head gag got really old though

I would suggest that you give G senjou no maou a try the protag is very mature and definitely not spineless. Romance definitely doesn't start of right away especially for the main heroine. The characters all go to a exclusive ritzy private school which I have always guessed is a equivalent of a high school though it could be more than that. Drama also abounds as well and it's so well done. There is a reason it has stayed right in my top 5

I can see the appeal of it in the whole taboo porn deal because let's face it I've looked it up quite a few times (Sister and mother stuff specifically) but in visual novels I'm ambivalent towards it. It kind of always feels very forced and it doesn't really add much for me. Every time I hear a character say oh were not really related I roll my eyes because I know what's bound to happen next.

I couldn't get into Tales of Xillia II I really enjoyed the first one but this sequel I just kind of put it down and never got back to it I think my main problem with it is that the dude your playing as doesn't have a voice that was really jarring for me because all the Tales games that I played had fully voiced main characters. Like I'm usually okay with a main character being silent but that time it was kind of a deal breaker. Plus he just seems super boring... Anyway I'm playing Nier Automata right now and I'm enjoying it but I'm still only like 3 to 4 hours in

Honestly I never understand why people get so engaged with having political arguments with total strangers online like you'll click on a facebook photo or youtube clip and there are these total weirdos typing out these long diatribes to someone that they've never met and someone they don't give a shit about. You are not going to change their opinion. Even if it is stupid, ugly, and hateful. Especially that. Me I'll occasionally post my stance on a forum and never return to it, I might read the response but I'll most likely just leave it at that. They don't have to know there wrong, hell they probably don't deserve that much.
